Galar’s twin legendary wolves are back for Pokemon’s biggest anniversary yet — and this time they arrive as a matched pair, numbered back to back.
Zacian sits at 085/103 and Zamazenta at 086/103 in M6a 30th CELEBRATION, the Japanese anniversary set that released worldwide on September 16, 2026. Both cards were shown by The Pokemon Company in the set’s legendary Pokemon feature, alongside Ho-Oh, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, Reshiram and Zekrom. Neither is a secret rare or a chase card — aggregators report both as Rare — but as a consecutive pair from the sword-and-shield generation they slot naturally into any anniversary binder page.
This guide covers both cards’ revealed text, where they sit in the legendary line-up, what the set itself contains, and which anniversary product is currently available to order, now that M6a has released as a lottery-allocated product in Japan.
Zacian 085/103 (illustrated by Akira Egawa) and Zamazenta 086/103 (illustrated by Tsuyoshi Nagano) are listed directly in Pokemon’s official card database, both HP 130 Metal-type per PokeBeach’s translated card text. Rarity itself is still aggregator-reported as Rare, not an official rarity credit. The set released September 16, 2026, at ¥360 per pack. Our M6a 30th Celebration booster box is currently listed at ¥25,000 (~$162), pre-order (sealed; the no-shrink option is sold out at the time of this update). Separately, the 25th Anniversary Golden Box is currently listed at ¥257,500 (~$1,672).
- M6a 30th CELEBRATION released worldwide on September 16, 2026; Zacian 085/103 and Zamazenta 086/103 remain listed in the official card database with confirmed illustrators.
- The lowest SNKRDUNK ask for a sealed M6a box (shrink) fell to ¥17,500 on release day (September 16, 2026), down from ¥47,200 on September 1 and ¥28,200 on September 10.
- Store changes: the 25th Anniversary Golden Box is now listed at ¥257,500; the S8a box is now ¥67,200.
- Our M6a box listing remains ¥25,000 (sealed) as a pre-order; the no-shrink option is sold out at the time of this update.
- Full card list: every card of the set with its official image, in number order — 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) card list (all 173 cards).
Store prices below are current listings converted at ¥154/USD. Card numbers and illustrators come from Pokemon’s official card database, checked September 16, 2026 (unchanged since the September 9 official card list); attack text comes from PokeBeach’s translation and rarity remains aggregator-reported, so treat rarity as provisional until cards are widely compared.
Zacian 085/103: Revealed Card Text

Zacian is listed directly in Pokemon’s official card database (published September 9, 2026), credited to illustrator Akira Egawa — a name graded-card collectors will recognise. It’s a Metal-type Basic Pokemon with 130 HP per PokeBeach’s translated card text, and two attacks:
- Hardened Blade — 20+: does 40 more damage if this Pokemon has a Pokemon Tool attached.
- Slashing Strike — 120: this Pokemon can’t use this attack during your next turn.
That Tool-attachment bonus is a neat thematic touch for the sword legendary, and 120 for a single-prize card is respectable, though the self-lock keeps it firmly in casual territory. It carries Weakness Fire ×2, Resistance Grass −30, Retreat cost 2. Rarity itself remains aggregator-reported as Rare rather than an official credit — the official database entry gives number and illustrator only, not a rarity symbol.
For every earlier printing of the wolf duo, from base V cards to the premium alternate arts, our Zacian & Zamazenta cards guide maps the whole line.
Zamazenta 086/103: Revealed Card Text

Zamazenta follows at 086/103, also listed directly in the official database, credited to illustrator Tsuyoshi Nagano. It’s a Metal-type Basic Pokemon with the same 130 HP per PokeBeach’s translated card text. Its two attacks mirror its shield identity just as cleanly as Zacian’s mirror the sword:
- Fend Off — 20: before doing damage, discard any Pokemon Tool attached to your opponent’s Active Pokemon.
- Shield Press — 100: during your opponent’s next turn, this Pokemon takes 50 less damage from attacks.
Put the pair side by side and the design intent is obvious: Zacian gains from having a Tool, Zamazenta strips the opponent’s Tool away, and both hold the same 130 HP. It carries the same Weakness Fire ×2, Resistance Grass −30, Retreat cost 2 as Zacian. These are companion cards in the truest sense, which is exactly why they were revealed together in the set’s legendary feature rather than as individual promos.
Neither card appears on the hit-card prediction lists that Japanese aggregators publish for this set — those columns are occupied by the FUR Mewtwo ex and Mew ex and the two Pikachu ex SARs, covered in our 30th Celebration chase-card list.
The Legendary Line-Up in 30th Celebration
The official product page groups Zacian and Zamazenta into a dedicated feature: “legendary Pokemon met across past adventures appear as cards”. The full set of legendaries pictured there is:
| Card | Number | Generation era |
|---|---|---|
| Ho-Oh | 007/103 | Johto |
| Reshiram | 008/103 | Unova |
| Kyogre | 013/103 | Hoenn |
| Zekrom | 050/103 | Unova |
| Groudon | 068/103 | Hoenn |
| Zacian | 085/103 | Galar |
| Zamazenta | 086/103 | Galar |
| Lugia | 097/103 | Johto |
Zacian and Zamazenta are one of two consecutive pairs in the legendary block (Ho-Oh 007 / Reshiram 008 is the other), which makes them the easiest sub-set within the legendary block to complete as a display pair. If you are chasing the whole block, the Hoenn weather titans get the same paired treatment in spirit — see our Kyogre & Groudon 30th Celebration guide for their revealed text. Worth noting: the official product page highlights these eight in its own dedicated feature, but the full 103-card database lists more than twenty Legendary and Mythical Pokemon across the set, so this table is the curated feature list, not the full legendary count.
The Set They Live In: M6a Basics
A quick factual snapshot of the product these two cards come from, all from the official page:
- Release: released September 16, 2026, in a simultaneous worldwide launch for the Japanese set.
- Pack: ¥360 including tax, six foil cards per pack — every card in the set is foil.
- Box: 20 packs, ¥7,200 MSRP.
- Guarantees: one Pikachu card in every pack (30 designs by 30 illustrators) and one YOSHIROTTEN-designed basic energy in every pack.
- Numbering: base set of 103 cards, with the Classic Collection reprint block running as high as 165/103 (secret rares proper are 104–135).
- Allocation: per SNKRDUNK’s lottery roundup (September 9, 2026), a further Pokemon Center Online additional lottery for the FUTURISTIC BOX and Card Set ran September 11 through September 16, 2026, closing at 16:59 JST, with results due September 30, 2026. Japan sales were lottery-allocated rather than open retail.
One rules note worth flagging for players: the set’s 30 special-spec historic reprints are not legal in the current Standard regulation. That restriction applies to the reprint block (136/103 upward), not to base-set cards like Zacian and Zamazenta. The full structure is unpacked in our complete 30th Celebration guide.
Rarity and Value Expectations
Honest framing first: these are not investment cards on current evidence. Aggregators report both as plain Rare, and neither appears in snkrdunk’s hit-card price predictions for the set (updated 29 August 2026), which concentrate on the FUR and SAR slots. Every card in the set is foil, so even the Rares will display well — but expect Zacian and Zamazenta to be affordable pulls rather than box-justifying hits.
- A confirmed Zacian V reprint. The official card list for M6a’s 30-card Classic Collection reprint block, published September 9, 2026, confirms Zacian V from Sword & Shield at 161/103, illustrated by 5ban Graphics — this was previously only a PokeBeach-inferred community report, but it’s now in the official database alongside the rest of the 136–165 block.
- Sealed-box asks now exist. Unofficial pre-release figures for a sealed M6a box ran from snkrdunk’s ¥18,000-plus prediction to listing-site figures in the ¥30,000–60,000 range, before release. On SNKRDUNK, the lowest listed ask for a sealed M6a box (shrink) fell from ¥47,200 on September 1 to ¥28,200 on September 10, and ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026 — about 2.4× the ¥7,200 MSRP. These are asks, not settled sales.

Anniversary Product Currently Listed
M6a has now released, though Japan’s official retail channel remains lottery-allocated; the 25th anniversary line below is currently listed, direct-buy anniversary product, and it’s still the direct predecessor to everything 30th Celebration is doing.
The Golden Box is the premium collector’s route — the sealed flagship of the 2021 anniversary, covered in depth in our 25th Anniversary Golden Box guide; it is currently listed at ¥257,500 (~$1,672). The S8a booster box is the rip-and-collect equivalent of what an M6a box is: an anniversary set built around reprints and celebration artwork. Both are factory-sealed Japanese product shipped from Tokyo; for anything in this category we haven’t listed individually, see our Quick Order page.
Where to Buy from Japan
We ship Japanese sealed product and graded singles worldwide from Tokyo with tracked delivery. For the wolves and the wider 30th line-up, here is the practical route:
- M6a 30th Celebration box — the product page is currently listed at ¥25,000 (~$162), pre-order (sealed; the no-shrink option is sold out at the time of this update), shipping from Tokyo after release.
- Sealed Japanese boxes — browse the full Pokemon sealed booster box collection, including the anniversary boxes above.
- Graded legendaries — our PSA 10 collection carries slabbed Japanese cards if you’d rather buy the hit than hunt it, and the wider Pokemon card collection covers everything else.
Now that M6a has landed, Zacian 085/103 and Zamazenta 086/103 put both Galar legendaries — in matching foil, at consecutive numbers — on the same binder page.
