30th CELEBRATION (M6a) released worldwide on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and Kanto — the original 151 — is the single biggest species block in the set. Thirty of the 103 main-set numbers are Pikachu alone, and Kanto species fill dozens more slots once you count the AR, SAR and Classic Collection reprints stacked on top.
This is the complete Kanto checklist: every main-set number, the 30-Pikachu subset as one group, regional Alolan and Galarian forms, and every secret-rare or Classic reprint built on a first-generation species. For the full 173-card checklist across every rarity in the set, see our 30th CELEBRATION card list page.
Kanto species fill 30 main-set numbers with the Pikachu 017–046 subset alone, plus another 15 non-Pikachu Kanto cards in the main set, 10 compiled AR/SAR prints and 8 Classic Collection reprints, plus 14 more cards across the Kanto legendary birds and Mewtwo/Mew family (covered in full in our legendary and mythical card list) — roughly 77 cards built on Generation 1 species. Our M6a Booster Box is currently listed as a pre-order at ¥25,000 (~$162).
Prices below are dated: SNKRDUNK figures are release-day asking prices (September 16, 2026); our own listing prices are current as of the same date. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
The 30 Pikachu (017–046)

The set’s headline Kanto feature is 30 different Pikachu cards, numbered 017 through 046 and sub-numbered 01/30 through 30/30, each by a different illustrator and each carrying a fireworks-style holofoil over the whole card — PokeBeach’s description. One of the 30 comes in every pack. The lead card, 017/103 (01/30), is by Ken Sugimori and recreates his original Jungle-set Pikachu illustration; our Sugimori 017 guide covers it card by card, and our Pikachu-30 illustrator hub indexes every one of the 30 individually.
Four other Pikachu already have standalone guides on our site: 030/103 by OKACHEKE, 031/103 by Yuu Nishida and 041/103 by Atsuko Nishida, all with their card text, illustrator background and the wider 30-card subset explained. PokeBeach reported, from an official box opening shown before release, that one 20-pack box held 20 of the 30 Pikachu, 2 Classic Collection cards, 4 AR, 1 SAR and 1 FUR — one opening, not a published rate.

Two Pikachu ex cards, 047 (day, by 5ban Graphics) and 048 (night, by takuyoa), sit just after the 30-card subset and headline the set’s day/night Pikachu theme — see our Pikachu ex SAR day/night guide for how they extend into the SAR block.

Regional Forms: Alolan and Galarian Meowth

Meowth is the only Kanto species in M6a to appear in three regional variants at once: the base Kanto form (092), Alolan Meowth (075, Darkness-type, Pay Day for 10 and a draw) and Galarian Meowth (080, Metal-type, with a hand-size-scaling Treasure Rush attack). All three — plus their AR counterparts — are covered together in our Meowth AR trio guide. Alolan Exeggutor (002) is the set’s other regional form, evolving from the Kanto-standard Exeggcute (001).
Kanto Species in the AR/SAR Block

The AR/SAR/FUR block (104–135) is compiled from official images and PokeBeach’s September 9 list; all 32 of its secret rares have now been seen, the last five surfacing with release-day SNKRDUNK listings on September 16, 2026, but the block is still not in the official card database. AR and SAR illustrators are unpublished (the two FUR cards are by YOSHIROTTEN). Ten Kanto-species secret rares sit in this block:
| No. | Card | Block | Regular print |
|---|---|---|---|
| 104 | Alolan Exeggutor | AR | 002/103 |
| 106 | Lapras | AR | 011/103 |
| 114 | Nidorina | AR | 074/103 |
| 115 | Alolan Meowth | AR | 075/103 |
| 117 | Galarian Meowth | AR | 080/103 |
| 120 | Meowth | AR | 092/103 |
| 121 | Ditto | AR | 093/103 |
| 126 | Pikachu ex (day) | SAR | 047/103 |
| 127 | Pikachu ex (night) | SAR | 048/103 |
| 131 | Gengar ex | SAR | 076/103 |
Ditto AR (121) was among the five secret rares that surfaced only with release-day listings on September 16, 2026; see our full AR list and full SAR list for the complete 20-card AR and 10-card SAR blocks, including the non-Kanto species in each.
Kanto Species in the Classic Collection

The Classic Collection (136–165) reprints eight Kanto-species cards in the “C”-marked, sparkling-holofoil treatment, none Standard-legal: Pikachu (136), Charizard (137, our Charizard reprint guide), Misty (138, our Misty guide), Erika’s Jigglypuff (139), Gengar Prime (150), Pikachu & Zekrom GX (160), Mew VMAX (163) and Magikarp (165, our Magikarp guide).
Pikachu appears in the Classic Collection a second time as the illustration half of Pikachu & Zekrom GX (160), and Mew’s Classic reprint (163) is a VMAX rather than the main set’s ex — the fourth rarity tier that species touches in this set, alongside 056, 057 and 129/135 covered in our legendary and mythical card list.
