Two of the three Japanese 30th CELEBRATION products — the FUTURISTIC BOX and the Card Set All 9 Types — are Pokémon Center Online (PCO) products, and Pokémon Center runs a purchase lottery for them rather than a first-come, first-served sale. If you’ve seen “lottery” mentioned alongside these products and weren’t sure what it means or whether it applies to you outside Japan, this explains the actual windows and who can enter.
Pokémon Center Online ran an additional-lottery window for the FUTURISTIC BOX and Card Set from September 11, 16:00 JST to September 16, 16:59 JST, with results due September 30, 2026 (per SNKRDUNK’s roundup). PCO lotteries require a Japanese Pokémon Center account and address — they are not open to overseas applicants. Our FUTURISTIC BOX and Premium Deck Set are both currently listed as pre-orders; the Card Set is sold out and restock requests go through Quick Order.
All dates and windows below come from Pokémon Center’s own program as reported by SNKRDUNK’s lottery roundup (September 9, 2026). Neither Samurai Sword Tokyo nor any overseas retailer runs or has access to this lottery.
What the PCO Lottery Is

Pokémon Center Online sells some high-demand 30th CELEBRATION products by lottery instead of direct sale: applicants enter during a fixed window, and Pokémon Center draws winners who are then invoiced. The September 11–16 additional-lottery window covered the FUTURISTIC BOX and the Card Set All 9 Types (releasing October 16, 2026). Earlier PCO lottery rounds also covered the 30th CELEBRATION Booster Box and the Premium Deck Set, with results announced September 4, 2026; both of those products are now sold through normal retail channels in Japan, including our own listings. Our FUTURISTIC BOX guide and Card Set All 9 Types pre-order guide cover the contents of each product in full.
The September 11–16 Additional-Lottery Window
Per SNKRDUNK’s lottery roundup (September 9, 2026), Pokémon Center Online ran an additional-lottery window for the FUTURISTIC BOX and the Card Set from September 11, 16:00 JST to September 16, 16:59 JST, with results due September 30, 2026. This was an additional round on top of an earlier PCO lottery, whose results for these products were announced September 4, 2026.
Because this window is defined by fixed calendar dates rather than a rolling first-come, first-served sale, there is nothing to refresh or watch for — either an application fell inside the window or it didn’t, and the September 30 results date applies to every applicant regardless of when during the window they applied.
The Physical Pokémon Center Store Lottery (Ended)

Separately, physical Pokémon Center stores in Japan ran their own in-store lottery, with applications closing September 11, 2026 and results issued September 14, 2026. That window has already closed and its results are already out — it is not something you can still apply for.
Extra Card Set Applications: Sanyodo and Card Labo

The Card Set All 9 Types has two extra Japanese application routes beyond the PCO window: Sanyodo bookstores, applications September 23 to October 4, 2026 with results October 14, 2026; and Card Labo, applications September 8 to September 20, 2026. Both are separate from the PCO lottery and apply only to the Card Set, which itself releases October 16, 2026.
Who Can Apply
Pokémon Center Online’s lottery system requires a Japanese Pokémon Center member account and a Japanese shipping address. Nothing in Pokémon Center’s own program or SNKRDUNK’s coverage of it suggests overseas applicants can enter directly — the same is true of the physical-store lottery, Sanyodo and Card Labo, all of which are Japan-domestic retail programs.
How Overseas Buyers Get These Products

Since the PCO lottery itself isn’t open to overseas buyers, the practical route is a Japan-based retailer or proxy service that already holds or can source the product through ordinary retail channels rather than the lottery — the same approach our US retailers vs Japan pre-order guide and our general how to buy Japanese cards from Japan guide describe for sourcing Japan-exclusive product generally. We list the FUTURISTIC BOX currently as a pre-order at ¥79,800 (~$518) and the Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon at ¥29,800 (~$194). The Card Set All 9 Types (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) is sold out at the time of writing, so requests for it go through Quick Order.
Where to Buy
We ship Japanese 30th CELEBRATION product out of Tokyo with tracked delivery, sourced through ordinary retail rather than the Pokémon Center lottery.
The 30th CELEBRATION Booster Box is currently listed at ¥25,000 (~$162) sealed / ¥23,000 (~$149) no-shrink. Browse the sealed booster box collection or the Japanese Pokémon card collection for more. For the Card Set or anything not currently listed, use Quick Order.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Pokémon Center Online 30th CELEBRATION lottery?
