Pokémon Center marked the Pokémon World Championships 2023 Yokohama with a commemorative product released July 28, 2023: a 60-card constructed deck named for its Pikachu ex. Three years on, the deck and a PSA10 copy of that Pikachu ex are both currently listed on our site.
This guide covers what the official product page says the deck actually contains, the Pikachu ex card itself, the other cards the official database lists inside it, and where the deck and a graded copy of its headline card are currently listed.
The official product page lists this as a ¥3,500 (tax included) 60-card constructed deck released July 28, 2023, sold at Pokémon Center Worlds Store 2023, Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Center Online. Its Pikachu ex, 001/030, is a new-illustration version of an earlier Pikachu ex, illustrated by kantaro. The sealed deck is currently listed at ¥50,400 (~$327), and a PSA10 copy of the Pikachu ex is currently listed at ¥73,836 (~$479) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).

What the WCS 2023 Yokohama Deck Is
The official product page names this item 「ポケモンカードゲーム スカーレット&バイオレット ポケモンワールドチャンピオンシップス2023横浜 記念デッキ「ピカチュウ」」 — the Pokémon World Championships 2023 Yokohama commemorative deck “Pikachu.” It carries an official retail price of ¥3,500 (tax included) and released on July 28, 2023, the same day as the expansion pack 「黒炎の支配者」 (Ruler of the Black Flame, SV3).
The intro text on the product page reads: 「
（※後日ポケモンストアでも取り扱う可能性がございます）」 — sold at the Pokémon Center Worlds Store 2023 tournament venue, at Pokémon Center stores nationwide, and on Pokémon Center Online.
What’s Inside the Box
The official 内容物 (contents) line lists: 「デッキ（カード60枚）・・・1個」「構築デッキの性質上、同じカードが複数入っています。」「ダメカン/マーカー・・・1シート」「ポケモンコイン・・・1枚」「デッキシールド プレミアム・マット・・・1セット(64枚)」「缶ケース・・・1個」 — one 60-card constructed deck (note: because it’s a constructed deck, the same card appears multiple times), one damage counter/marker sheet, one Pokémon coin, one 64-card premium-matte deck shield set, and one tin case.
The page describes the tin separately: 「缶ケースには、デッキを収納できることはもちろん、カード以外のものを入れることもできるので、自由に使って楽しめるぞ。」 — the tin can hold the deck, and can also be used for other items besides cards.
The official page does not state how many copies of the Pikachu ex the deck contains.
The Pikachu ex Card, 001/030
The official card database credits this Pikachu ex to illustrator kantaro, with HP 190, Lightning type, Basic stage, and card number 001/030 under set code WCS23.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Card number | 001/030 |
| JP name | ピカチュウex |
| Illustrator | kantaro |
| Type | Lightning |
| HP | 190 |
| Stage | Basic |
| Weakness | Fighting (×2) |
The database lists two attacks: Pika Punch (C) for 30 damage, and Dynamic Bolt (L L C) for 220 damage, with a coin-flip clause — on tails, all Energy attached to this Pokémon is discarded. As an ex card, its special rule sends two Prize cards to the opponent when it’s knocked out. The database’s retreat-cost cell for this card is empty, so no retreat cost is shown for it.
The product page itself explains why this printing exists: 「「スターターセットex ピカチュウex&パーモット」に登場したピカチュウexが、新たなイラストとなって登場！ コライドンとミライドンも描かれており、右下に特別なロゴが入っている。」 — this is a new-illustration version of the Pikachu ex that first appeared in the Starter Set ex “Pikachu ex & Pawmot,” now redrawn with Koraidon and Miraidon in the artwork and a special logo in the bottom-right corner. The database shows no rarity icon for this card.
Other Cards the Database Lists
The official card database’s pack listing for set code WCS23 lists 32 entries against a “/030” denominator on the card itself. The database’s own listing accounts for the gap: two of the deck’s Supporter cards, ネモ and 博士の研究, each have two separate database entries. The 32 names it lists are: ピカチュウex, コイル, パモ, パモット, パーモット, ズピカ, カイデン, タイカイデン, ミライドン, マンキー, オコリザル, コノヨザル, コライドン, イキリンコ, モトトカゲ, エネルギー回収, エネルギー転送, スーパーボール, ハイパーボール, ポケモンいれかえ, ポケモンキャッチャー, 学習装置, キハダ, ジニア, ジャッジマン, たんぱんこぞう, ネモ (two entries), 博士の研究 (two entries), 基本雷エネルギー, and 基本闘エネルギー.
This guide lists those cards by name only. The product page describes them this way: 「コライドンやミライドン、博士の研究など、バトルに役立つ様々なカードも収録されている！」 — Koraidon, Miraidon, Professor’s Research, and other cards useful in battle are also included.
Dated Asking Prices
The lowest asking price on SNKRDUNK for the sealed WCS 2023 Yokohama deck was ¥43,500 as of September 18, 2026. For the Pikachu ex 001/030 as a raw single card, the lowest asking price on SNKRDUNK was ¥41,500 on the same date. Both figures are live seller listings, not sale prices, and no earlier dated figures for either listing appear in this update.
Separately, a PSA10-graded copy of the Pikachu ex is currently listed on our site at ¥73,836 (~$479) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
Grading This Card
PSA’s Grading Standards page describes a Gem Mint 10 as “a virtually perfect card,” with “four perfectly sharp corners, sharp focus and full original gloss,” free of staining, with centering “within a tolerance not to exceed approximately 55/45 percent on the front, and 75/25 percent on the reverse.” PSA also notes that grading combines an objective check — print defects, staining, surface wrinkles, centering — with a subjective judgment of overall eye appeal. None of this promises a particular grade for any individual card; it’s simply what PSA states it looks for.
For a wider look at other Pikachu ex prints we currently carry in PSA10, the Pikachu ex 234/193 SAR is currently listed at ¥46,446 (~$302) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) — a different set and a different rarity tier from the WCS23 deck card, shown here only as a comparable graded print, not as the same printing.
