The Greninja 30th Anniversary lineup has five cards: Greninja ex in two treatments from the 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) expansion, a Classic Collection Greninja BREAK, a Gym Battle promo and an English-only promo.
The official card database lists M6a 015/103 Greninja ex and the Classic Collection 157/103 Greninja BREAK, both credited to 5ban Graphics. The SAR version (125/103) is not in the database. Every market figure below is the lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, September 29, 2026, never a sold price.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo, with dollar figures at ¥154 per dollar.
As of September 29, 2026 the Greninja ex SAR (125/103) had a lowest ask of ¥1,600 on SNKRDUNK, the only expansion card of the three with a usable ask. The three expansion cards come from the M6a box, listed as No Shrink at ¥24,513 (~$159) or Sealed at ¥27,552 (~$179).
As of September 29, 2026, a dated A-grade SNKRDUNK ask for the Greninja ex SAR 125/103 is in the card table below, alongside the official database entries for 015/103 and 157/103.

PokeBeach’s article of September 9, 2026 reports one opened M6a box that held 1 SAR, 4 AR and 2 Classic Collection cards. That is a single opening, not a rate, and our 30th Celebration pull-rate article covers what is confirmed.
Greninja ex in the M6a Expansion
Greninja ex 015/103 — RR

This is one of the ten main-set Pokemon ex that carry the RR mark in the official database, and 5ban Graphics is the credited illustrator. PokeBeach’s translation of September 9, 2026 describes a Water-type Stage 2 with HP300. Stealthy Slash costs [W] and does 30 damage to one opposing Pokemon for each damage counter on it, and Aqua Edge costs [W][W] and does 160. It has a Lightning weakness and a retreat cost of 1.
Serebii lists the English booster counterpart as 21/128, also credited to 5ban Graphics. On SNKRDUNK the card shows only the ¥1,000 display floor across 43 listings, which SNKRDUNK uses as a minimum and which is not a usable price. It comes out of M6a packs.

Greninja ex 125/103 — SAR

The SAR is the second treatment of the same Pokemon ex, numbered 125 in the secret block that runs 104 to 135. The official database lists the main set (001 to 103) and the Classic Collection block (136 to 165) but not the secret block 104 to 135, so the SAR has no database entry; the official 30th CELEBRATION site shows this card, which is where the image comes from. PokeBeach’s compiled list places the Greninja ex SAR at 125, and the ten SAR slots (124 to 133) are the ten main-set ex cards again. The set has no SR tier and no MUR.
Its illustrator is not published in Japan. Serebii credits the English Special Illustration Rare, number 148, to GIDORA; that credit belongs to the English card and is not transferred to the Japanese SAR. The lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, September 29, 2026 was ¥1,600, the same in A grade and in any condition, across 100 or more listings.
Greninja BREAK 157/103: The Classic Collection Card
Greninja BREAK 157/103 — Classic Collection
The Classic Collection is the block numbered 136 to 165, thirty reprints marked with a “C” beside the set code and not legal in Standard. Greninja BREAK is 157/103, credited to 5ban Graphics in the official database. The database serves this card’s image in landscape. Serebii lists the English Classic Collection counterpart as 41/122, also credited to 5ban Graphics.
PokeBeach describes the Classic Collection cards as sparkling holofoil with a gold border. The database entry shows no rarity mark, so the rarity is Classic Collection rather than a code. SNKRDUNK shows 67 listings for the card.
The Gym Battle Promo: Greninja ex M-P 151
Greninja ex M-P 151 — 30th Promo Card Pack

The official 30th CELEBRATION event page describes the 30th Promo Card Pack, which holds one card per pack. Gym Battle participation prizes include one 30th Promo Card Pack in place of one of the usual two 1-card promo packs, and the pack is also handed out at the 30th CELEBRATION EVENT (Makuhari Messe on October 25, 2026; Intex Osaka from October 31 to November 1, 2026) and at 30th-anniversary events at Pokemon Card Gyms from October onward. Quantities are limited and there is no retail sale.
Each pack contains one of seven cards, numbered 148 to 154 in the official database: Alolan Exeggutor, Moltres, Articuno, Greninja ex, Zapdos, Sylveon ex and Lucario. The event page states that Greninja ex and Sylveon ex use illustrations different from the expansion pack, and the database credits Greninja ex 151 to 5ban Graphics, the same name as the RR card but a different illustration. Our Sylveon card list covers the other ex in the pack.
The Pokemon Card site’s notice of September 28, 2026 corrected the promo’s image: the Greninja ex first shown on the 30th site and the event site was wrong, the real card has the logo on the left, and no copy with the logo on the right exists. The images were replaced that day. The lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, September 29, 2026 was ¥5,980 in A grade, but it comes from only two listings, so it does not describe a price level.

The English Greninja ex Promo and the Froakie Starter Promo
Greninja ex MEP 099 — English Pokemon ex Box promo
The official pokemon.com listing for the English 30th Celebration Pokemon ex Box — Sylveon ex & Greninja ex, available September 16, 2026, states that each box contains Sylveon ex or Greninja ex as a foil promo, in a ready-to-play version and an oversize version, plus 4 booster packs. The compiled English promo checklist at Bill’s Archive numbers the Greninja ex promo MEP 099. Its artwork relation to M-P 151 is not stated officially, and we do not sell English 30th Celebration product. The English booster set has its own Greninja ex at 21/128 (Serebii), which pairs with the Japanese RR card. According to Bill’s Archive, the English expansion has 128 numbered cards plus secret rares numbered 129 to 161, and the English promos of the anniversary run from MEP 094 to 110, and the Sylveon ex promo (MEP 100) sits in that same range beside the Greninja ex promo (MEP 099) in the English Pokemon ex Box.
Froakie 118/M-P — the Kalos starter promo
One Kalos card is easy to mistake for Greninja: the Kalos edition of the 30th CELEBRATION Card Set carries Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie, the Kalos starters. Froakie is 118/M-P and is not a Greninja card. The Card Set is officially ¥1,200 per edition and contains three starter promos, two M6a packs and one card stand. Our All 9 Types Card Set listing is sold out at the time of this update — restock requests go through Quick Order.

Buyer Checklist Before You Choose a Greninja
Three points separate the cards above when you buy from Japan.
- Read the number. 015/103 is the RR, 125/103 is the SAR, 157/103 is the Classic Collection BREAK and M-P 151 is the promo.
- Check the source. 015, 125 and 157 come from M6a packs; M-P 151 comes only through the 30th Promo Card Pack, which is a prize and event item.
- Match the illustration to the source. The promo and the RR card share an illustrator credit but not an illustration.
Where to Buy Greninja Cards from Japan
The three expansion cards come out of the M6a box, listed as No Shrink at ¥24,513 (~$159) or Sealed at ¥27,552 (~$179), which we ship from Tokyo with tracked delivery. Browse the M6a card list for the whole set or the PSA 10 card list for graded cards.
For a specific 30th CELEBRATION card that is not listed, sourcing requests go through Quick Order. The same format is used for Umbreon and Espeon, and the Classic Collection reprints list covers the rest of the 136 to 165 block.
Every Mega Greninja ex printing in both languages, with dated asks, is in the Mega Greninja ex Pokémon cards guide.

When did M6a 30th CELEBRATION release, and which Greninja cards came with it?
M6a released in Japan on September 16, 2026, and its card list was published in the official database on September 9, 2026. The 30th Promo Card Pack holding Greninja ex M-P 151 began distribution the same day, and the English Pokemon ex Box with the Greninja ex promo was also available on September 16.

How do you get the Greninja ex M-P 151 promo?
It is one of seven cards in the 30th Promo Card Pack, a Gym Battle prize from September 16, 2026 to January 31, 2027 and an item at 30th CELEBRATION events. There is no retail sale and quantities are limited. The lowest A-grade ask on SNKRDUNK, September 29, 2026 was ¥5,980.
Who illustrated the Greninja cards?
