Pokemon Card VS Leaders’ Pokemon Fighting and Psychic Half Deck (2001)
Giapponese Pokemon Card VS (ポケモンカード★VS) half deck, Fighting and Psychic type pairing. Pokemon Card VS was sold in Japan only, as three random 30-card half decks rather than 10-card booster packs, and has no English-language release. Released on 19 July 2001. Each pack contains 30 randomly assorted cards: 12 Pokemon (including 1 holofoil; Fighting, Psychic and Colorless types), 6 Trainer cards (including 2 Technical Machines) and 12 Energy cards (basic Fighting and Psychic Energy plus 1 holofoil Special Energy).
Pokemon Card VS was the first Japanese set printed with the current “Pokemon” card back, replacing the original Japanese back (“Old Back”) used on sets released before July 2001. Cards from this deck are therefore not Old Back cards.
