Note the numbering on the top end: the VSTAR ultra rare is 086/067, not 087. In S10D, 087 and 088 belong to the Trekking Shoes and Path to the Peak trainer ultra rares instead, so if you’re trying to identify a copy from a listing photo, check that the number reads 086 before assuming it’s the Dialga UR.

Below the HR sit two Origin Forme Dialga V secret rares that get confused with each other constantly. 074/067 is the standard full-art secret rare — V-level artwork with the SR treatment. 075/067 is the Special Art (SA) version, a full repaint with a different illustration style and noticeably more detailed background work. Both are “V,” not “VSTAR” — a distinction that matters because listings sometimes drop the Pokemon-stage label entirely.

Gardenia’s Vigor SR 078/067: The Secondary Pickup

S10D isn’t a one-card set. Gardenia’s Vigor, a trainer secret rare at 078/067 SR (with a higher HR treatment at 084 also in the set), is the other pull worth planning for out of the same box. It’s a Sinnoh-era callback for anyone collecting the Gym Leader supporter line, and it holds its own value separately from the Dialga cards.
Our PSA10 copy is currently listed at ¥13,864 — a reasonable secondary pickup if you’re already building a Time Gazer PSA10 set around the Dialga HR and don’t want to chase the gold UR to complete it.
The Gold UR: VSTAR Universe 260/172
The highest-rarity Origin Forme Dialga print doesn’t come from S10D at all. VSTAR Universe (s12a), released December 2, 2022, is a 262-card set (172 base + 90 secrets) built specifically to collect the VSTAR era’s best gold ultra rares into one release, and Origin Forme Dialga’s entry is 260/172, illustrated by AKIRA EGAWA.
This is a different card from anything in the S10D ladder above — different illustration, different set, different numbering — and it’s the one collectors usually mean when they say “the gold Dialga.” Its Origin Forme Palkia counterpart sits at 259/172 in the same set, also by AKIRA EGAWA, which is why the two Sinnoh legends tend to get chased as a pair. The Vintage Chase: CP2 Legendary Shine Collection Dialga (2015)

Seven years before Time Gazer existed, Dialga already had a chase print worth knowing about. CP2 — Legendary Shine Collection released in July 2015 as a concept pack built around legendary Pokemon, and its Dialga sits at 017/027, Rare, 1st Edition. This isn’t an Origin Forme card — it predates that mechanic entirely — but it belongs in any cross-era Dialga collection, and it shares a concept pack with the CP2 Zekrom that anchors our Pikachu & Zekrom guide.

English Set Mapping: Astral Radiance & Crown Zenith
If you’re cross-shopping English singles, S10D Time Gazer and its sister set S10P Space Juggler both map to Astral Radiance (SWSH10, released May 2022 in English). The base V and VSTAR prints line up directly; the Japanese secret-rare structure doesn’t carry over one-to-one, since English sets consolidate rarities differently.
The closer English equivalent for the gold-treatment chase card is Crown Zenith’s Galarian Gallery subset, where GG68 is the English Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR gold-rarity print, and GG61 covers Gardenia’s Vigor. If you already own the English GG68, the Japanese HR (082/067) and UR (086/067) covered above are the two closest Japanese counterparts in terms of chase-card status, even though none of these three are literally the same card.
