The Pokemon 30th Celebration chase cards come from Japanese 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) packs, and each pack contains six foil cards in total: one Pikachu, one Basic Energy and four other cards. The Pikachu and Energy are included in the six. Those guarantees tell you what kinds of cards are in a pack; they do not establish FUR, SAR or Classic Collection odds for a pack or a box.
This guide separates official product specifications, reported openings and estimated odds. We checked the Japanese official M6a page on September 20, 2026; it confirms the two pack guarantees but publishes no rare-card probability table. The English official pack description recorded on September 18 also totals six cards. A community study can still provide useful measured estimates, provided its method and sample are disclosed.
Six cards means six, not six plus Energy. One Pikachu and one Basic Energy are guaranteed, but no equal-frequency statement for the 30 Pikachu designs or official FUR/SAR/Classic Collection odds appears in the product specifications checked for this guide. Choose Sealed or No Shrink on the current Japanese M6a box page for price, availability and dispatch information. For an earlier anniversary product, compare the S8a 25th Anniversary Collection box.
- Added a six-card contents table and separated pack guarantees from estimated rarity odds.
- The Japanese official page confirms one Pikachu per pack as well as one Basic Energy. That is not a promise of different Pikachu designs across a box.
- The market comparison now uses dated September 16 and September 18 asking-price observations, separate from opening data.
- Browse the 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) card list (173 entries) for the compiled numbering and images.
- The October 7, 2026 update adds the chase-card table and refreshes our store listings and prices; the other facts in this article were last checked on September 20, 2026.
The September 9 compiled numbering was followed by marketplace images of the remaining secret rares on September 16. That supports a card checklist, not an insertion rate. FUR Mewtwo ex and Mew ex were officially revealed; the separately reported RGB Mew cards remain outside that checklist. A box-opening account describes the cards in that opening. None of these evidence types, by itself, measures the odds across production.
Market amounts in the community section are asking prices on the stated dates. They are not completed sales, current store quotes or rarity measurements. Current shop offers and dispatch details are available through the linked product pages.
What Is Officially Confirmed for the 30th Celebration Chase Cards
The official Japanese M6a product page, checked September 20, provides the following specifications. The box price is separately confirmed in Pokemon Center Online’s official notice; pack-count attribution is distinguished below.
| Fact | Detail | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Release date | Released 16 September 2026, a simultaneous worldwide launch (excluding some regions) | Official |
| Pack and box prices | ¥360 per Japanese pack; ¥7,200 per box, including tax. The 20-pack count matches that arithmetic and the reported box format. | Official prices; 20-pack format separately reported |
| Pack contents | Six foil cards per Japanese pack — every card in the set is foil | Official |
| Pikachu slot | One Pikachu card guaranteed in every pack, drawn from 30 designs by 30 illustrators | Official |
| Energy slot | One basic energy card, in YOSHIROTTEN’s special design, guaranteed in every pack | Official |
| New rarity | FUR (Futuristic Rare) debuts with Mewtwo ex 134/103 and Mew ex 135/103, both by YOSHIROTTEN | Official |
| Reprints | 30 historic cards return in a special 30th-anniversary treatment; they are not Standard-legal | Official |
The English official product showcase, recorded September 18, describes five foil cards, one of which is a Pikachu, plus one foil Basic Energy. That is also six cards total: the different phrasing does not mean an extra card compared with Japan. Its products include a six-pack Booster Bundle; do not confuse that bundle with a Japanese 20-pack box.

The Pokémon Company does not publish pull rates. These specifications do not supply rare-card odds. When reading a percentage or a one-per-box claim, check whether it comes from an official guarantee, a documented sample or an unsupported assertion. 30th Celebration Chase Cards: Prices and Where We List Them
These ten cards are the Mew, Mewtwo, Pikachu and other ex cards at the top of the 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) card list: the two FUR cards and eight SAR cards. Rarity labels follow our M6a card list, because the official card database does not yet carry cards 104–135.
| # | Card | Rarity | Lowest ask on SNKRDUNK (Oct 7, 2026) | Our listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Mew ex 135/103 | FUR | raw ¥6,000 | not listed |
| 2 | Mewtwo ex 134/103 | FUR | raw ¥4,900 | not listed |
| 3 | Pikachu ex (night) 127/103 | SAR | raw ¥7,666 | not listed |
| 4 | Pikachu ex (day) 126/103 | SAR | raw ¥5,500 | not listed |
| 5 | Mew ex 129/103 | SAR | raw ¥7,222 | not listed |
| 6 | Mewtwo ex 128/103 | SAR | raw ¥3,333 | not listed |
| 7 | Sylveon ex 130/103 | SAR | raw ¥3,500 | not listed |
| 8 | Gengar ex 131/103 | SAR | raw ¥4,000 | not listed |
| 9 | Greninja ex 125/103 | SAR | raw ¥1,700 | not listed |
| 10 | Jirachi ex 132/103 | SAR | raw ¥2,554 | not listed |
Asking prices are SNKRDUNK lowest asks seen on October 7, 2026, not sale prices; our prices are the listed prices at the time of this update.

What Has Never Been Published
The official product sources checked for this guide do not provide the following information. The Japanese source was rechecked September 20; the English specification was recorded September 18.
- FUR, SAR or AR probability: no official percentage, packs-per-hit figure or distribution for those rarity tiers.
- Classic Collection probability: the card list identifies the reprints, but a checklist does not give their insertion frequency.
- Equal Pikachu frequency: one Pikachu is guaranteed; equal odds for every design and a duplicate-free box are not stated.
- A fixed rare-card count per box: the product specifications do not guarantee the combination shown in a particular opening.
Unofficial does not automatically mean invented. A measured opening study is evidence about its sample. It becomes misleading when an estimate is presented as a manufacturer’s guarantee, or when a sample from one language or product type is applied to another without support.
The Two Guaranteed Slots, Pack by Pack
Count the guaranteed contents within the six cards, then leave the remaining rarity distribution unspecified. The table describes categories, not a promised physical order inside the wrapper.
| Contents of one Japanese pack | Cards | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| 30-illustrator Pikachu series | 1 | A Pikachu is guaranteed; a particular design is not |
| Special-design Basic Energy | 1 | Included in the six-card total |
| Other cards | 4 | Remaining card count; no rare-card combination guaranteed here |
| Total | 6 | All six cards are foil |
The Pikachu guarantee. The Japanese official product page explicitly states one Pikachu per pack. Across twenty packs, that means twenty Pikachu cards, not necessarily twenty different illustrations. There are thirty designs by thirty illustrators; our 30 Pikachu illustrators card list identifies each one. Ken Sugimori’s Pikachu 017/103 is numbered 01/30 within that series.

The Energy guarantee. Each pack includes one Basic Energy in YOSHIROTTEN’s anniversary design, giving twenty Energy cards across twenty packs. The set features eight Energy types, but the product page does not promise an equal mix or all eight types in one box. Twenty packs contain 120 cards in total; the twenty Pikachu and twenty Energy cards are part of those 120.

How the remaining slots in each pack are filled — and how the AR, SAR, FUR and reprint cards are distributed across a box — is exactly the part that has not been published. If you want the full background on the new rarity itself, our FUR chase cards article covers what is known about the Futuristic Rare treatment.
Community Numbers: All of Them Are Unofficial
Market prices are not a substitute for opening data. The following SNKRDUNK asks were recorded September 16 and September 18, 2026. They are advertised prices for the named card, not completed sales, current checkout quotes or pull-rate measurements.
| Card | September 16 ask | September 18 ask |
|---|---|---|
| Mew ex FUR 135/103 | ¥22,222 | ¥14,000 |
| Mewtwo ex FUR 134/103 | ¥17,999 | ¥10,499 |
| Pikachu ex SAR 126/103 (Day) | ¥11,000 | ¥9,500 |
| Pikachu ex SAR 127/103 (Night) | ¥13,000 | ¥13,400 |
The prices differ by card and observation date. Those differences cannot tell us how many packs contain each card. A pre-release price forecast is even further removed from opening evidence: neither a prediction nor an asking price measures an insertion probability.
Before trusting a community rate, look for: the language and product opened, number of packs or boxes, dates and batches, whether the sample includes every opening or only selected hits, and the raw results. A card seen once in a small sample has greater uncertainty than a common result measured across many independent openings. Pack-level and box-level probabilities answer different questions.
The Secret-Rare Structure Revealed So Far
What can be mapped with confidence is the numbering skeleton — and since the September 9 official card list plus the release-day sightings, all of it has now been compiled. The base set runs to 103 cards (“xxx/103”), and there is no SR (Super Rare) tier in this set; the tiers above the base set are AR, SAR, FUR and the 30 Classic Collection reprints:
- AR block (104/103–123/103, 20 cards): all 20 have now been seen — 119 Kommo-o and 121 Ditto were the last two, surfacing with release-day listings (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026).
- SAR block (124/103–133/103, 10 cards, all ex versions of Pokemon already in the main set): all 10 have now been seen, including Pikachu ex 126/103 (Day) and 127/103 (Night); 128 Mewtwo ex, 129 Mew ex and 131 Gengar ex were the last three, surfacing with release-day listings (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026).
- FUR: Mewtwo ex 134/103 and Mew ex 135/103 — still the only two FUR cards in the set.
- Classic Collection reprints (136/103–165/103, 30 cards): all 30 are confirmed in the official card database, with numbers, names and illustrators. See our full reprints list for every row.
As of September 16, 2026, all 32 of the secret-rare numbers (104–135) have now been seen — but the block is still not in the official card database, and AR and SAR illustrators are unpublished (the two FUR cards are by YOSHIROTTEN). None of this structure tells you odds — but it does tell you how many distinct chase slots any future published rate would need to cover. Numbering conventions across Japanese sets are covered in our Japanese rarity guide for graded buyers.
What a Reported Official Box Opening Showed (September 9)
PokeBeach reported, from an official box opening shown before release, on September 9, 2026, that one 20-pack M6a box contained: 20 of the 30 Pikachu cards (each unique, no duplicates), 2 Classic Collection reprints, 4 Art Rares, 1 Special Art Rare, and 1 Futuristic Rare (either Mew ex or Mewtwo ex). That remains the closest thing to a structured box-contents report from before release.
This describes one reported box. Its counts are not an official guaranteed or average outcome. Seeing one FUR in that box does not prove a one-in-twenty-pack probability, and seeing no duplicated Pikachu there does not establish duplicate-free boxes. A broader, disclosed sample would be needed to estimate rates.
After-release videos can contribute to a study if their complete results and selection method are recorded. A highlight clip or a collection of memorable hits cannot show the denominator needed for a rate.
What the 25th Anniversary Set Teaches About Waiting for Data
The Japanese S8a 25th Anniversary Collection offers an earlier example of anniversary products and community opening reports. Our S8a pull rates and best cards guide describes that set. Keep its booster and promo-pack structure separate from M6a: a result for S8a cannot be transferred to 30th Celebration.
There is no fixed number of days after release when estimates become reliable. The relevant questions are sample size, independent batches, selection method and whether the data can be checked. Even a large community study remains an estimate for the sampled product, rather than an official guarantee.
Choose S8a if you prefer its actual cards and product format, rather than because its opening history promises an M6a result. See the current S8a booster box offer for price and dispatch information.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the official pull rates for 30th Celebration?
No official rarity-odds table appears in the product sources checked for this guide: Japan on September 20 and the English description recorded September 18, 2026. The confirmed pack contents include one Pikachu and one Basic Energy within six foil cards. Those guarantees do not establish FUR, SAR or Classic Collection probabilities.
What are the chase cards in 30th Celebration (M6a)?
The chase cards are the two FUR cards, Mew ex 135/103 and Mewtwo ex 134/103, and SAR cards such as Pikachu ex 126/103 and 127/103. On October 7, 2026 the lowest SNKRDUNK asks were raw ¥6,000 for Mew ex FUR and raw ¥4,900 for Mewtwo ex FUR; asks change and are not sale prices.
Is a Pikachu guaranteed in every 30th Celebration pack?
Yes. The Japanese official product page confirms one Pikachu per pack, and the English official description recorded September 18 does too. Equal odds among the thirty designs and a duplicate-free box are not stated.
What is the pull rate for the FUR Mewtwo ex and Mew ex?
The official Japanese product page checked September 20, 2026 does not publish FUR odds. A reported opening with one FUR describes that box; a community study with a disclosed sample may estimate a rate, but neither is an official guarantee.
How many cards are in a Japanese pack versus an English pack?
Both contain six cards total. Japanese M6a packs have six foil cards, including one Pikachu and one Basic Energy. The English specification recorded September 18 describes five foil cards including a Pikachu, plus one foil Basic Energy. The Japanese pack price is ¥360 including tax; an English six-pack Booster Bundle is a different product from a Japanese box.
What did the reported official box opening show?
PokeBeach reported on September 9, 2026 that one twenty-pack box contained twenty unique Pikachu cards, two Classic Collection reprints, four Art Rares, one Special Art Rare and one Futuristic Rare. Those are reported counts from one opening, not guaranteed contents or measured population odds.
When will real 30th Celebration pull-rate data exist?
There is no confirmed publication date for an official rate table. Useful community estimates need a disclosed method, the number and type of products opened, complete results and enough independent observations. Time since release alone does not establish reliability.
Does six cards mean six plus an Energy card?
No. The Basic Energy is included in the six-card total. For Japanese M6a, one Pikachu plus one Basic Energy leaves four other cards. That is a contents count, not an official rarity-slot order.
Will one box complete the thirty Pikachu designs?
A twenty-pack box provides twenty Pikachu cards through the one-per-pack guarantee, so it cannot supply all thirty designs. The official page does not promise those twenty will be different, and it does not state equal frequency for each illustration.
