Pink is not a Pokemon TCG type. It never has been. But if you sort a Japanese binder by colour instead of type, one shade keeps coming back — Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Mew, Sylveon, Slurpuff, Blissey. Different types on the card, different eras, same instantly-recognisable palette.
This is our roundup of twelve Japanese pink Pokemon cards we rate, spanning a Sun & Moon-era promo through to a December 2025 Battle Collection print. Every price below is our own current PSA 10 listing out of Tokyo, not a third-party market number, so what you see is what you can actually order today.
Twelve picks, ten Japanese sets, prices from ¥5,148 to ¥117,216 on our own PSA 10 listings — including the Mew ex 208/165 UR (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) and the Sylveon ex 212/187 SAR (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). This is an editorial list — our picks, not a ranking of every pink card ever printed.

What Counts as a “Pink” Pokemon Card
There’s no “Pink” type in the Pokemon TCG, so this list is entirely editorial — our picks, based on the colour of the Pokemon on the card, not its printed type. A few of the Pokemon here (Clefairy, Sylveon, Togepi’s evolution line) are Fairy-type in the video games, which sometimes causes confusion with the card game.
The card game handled Fairy differently. Fairy Energy debuted in the Kalos Starter Set during the XY era, but the Fairy type ceased being supported by the TCG from the Sword & Shield expansion onwards, and Pokemon that are Fairy-type in the core series games are now grouped with the Psychic type instead. Fairy Energy itself was rotated out of the Standard format in the 2021–22 season. Our Fairy Rise (SM7b) card list covers the last full set built around that mechanic.
That’s why the older Sun & Moon-era cards below (Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff GX, Sylveon GX) are printed as Fairy type, while the newer Scarlet & Violet-era Clefairy, Sylveon and Mew prints are printed as Psychic. Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff and Blissey V, meanwhile, are printed Colorless in the prints featured here — pink in the artwork, not in the type line. We’re picking by colour and by card, not by type.
Where a card’s flashy foil is commonly called an “alt art” or full-art treatment online, we use the printed rarity from the set — usually SR — rather than an unofficial shorthand. One card below (the Battle Collection 765/742 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) Clefairy ex) doesn’t carry a printed rarity mark at all, so we just call it by its number.

Clefairy — SM-P Promo (381/SM-P)
One of the simplest entries on this list — a plain promo Clefairy from the SM-P Sun & Moon Promotional Cards line, illustrated by Sanosuke Sakuma. Printed Fairy type, no rarity mark, and its exact release date isn’t something we can verify, so we’re not going to guess. What it does have is scarcity as a promo-only print rather than a set pull. Lillie’s Clefairy ex — SV9 Battle Partners (115/100 SR)
SV9 Battle Partners paired several trainers with signature Pokemon, and Lillie’s Clefairy ex is the pink half of that set’s SR lineup. Printed Psychic type, illustrated by 5ban Graphics, released 24 January 2025. Lillie’s Clefairy ex — MC Starter Decks 100 (765/742)
The same character, a year later, in a different format entirely: the MC Starter Decks 100 “Battle Collection” subset, a huge numbered pool released 19 December 2025. Limitless doesn’t list a printed rarity for 765/742, so we’re not assigning one either — it’s a mirror-foil parallel, illustrated by Naoki Saito, and it’s the newest card on this whole list. Jigglypuff — SV4a Shiny Treasure ex (306/190 S)
No pink-themed list is complete without Jigglypuff, and the SV4a Shiny Treasure ex shiny print (Colorless, illustrated by Misa Tsutsui) is the version we’d point collectors to first — a pastel-grey shiny recolour against a full-art background, numbered 306/190. This one isn’t currently in our PSA 10 lineup, so it’s sourcing via Quick Order rather than a live price link. Wigglytuff — M2 Inferno X (091/080 AR)
Jigglypuff’s evolution gets the alternate-art treatment in M2 Inferno X, released 26 September 2025 and illustrated by REND. Printed Colorless, not a “pink type” in any official sense — just a pink Pokemon rendered in full alt art. It’s also the most affordable card on this list: our PSA 10 is currently listed at ¥5,148 (~$32) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff GX — SM12a Tag All Stars (186/173 SR)
A tag team built around three baby Pokemon, two of them — Cleffa and Igglybuff — solidly pink, from SM12a Tag All Stars (4 October 2019). This is the 5ban Graphics SR full-art printing, one of three JP versions of this card, printed Fairy type in line with the Sun & Moon-era rules described above. Mew ex — SV2a Pokemon Card 151 (208/165 UR)
Mew is pink through and through, and the 151 set’s UR — illustrated by aky CG Works, released 16 June 2023 — is the printing most collectors ask us about. Printed Psychic type. Mew ex (Shiny) — SV4a Shiny Treasure ex (327/190 SSR)
The shiny recolour of the same character, from the same artist, in the same era’s flagship shiny set. SSR, Psychic type, 1 December 2023. Sylveon ex — SV8a Terastal Fest ex (212/187 SAR)
Sylveon’s pink ribbons make it a natural pick for any “pink” list, and the SV8a Terastal Fest ex SAR — illustrated by Cona Nitanda, released 6 December 2024, printed Psychic — is the current-era version we’d lead with. Sylveon GX (Shiny) — SM8b GX Ultra Shiny (238/150 SSR)
The older side of Sylveon’s catalogue: a shiny SSR from SM8b GX Ultra Shiny, illustrated by 5ban Graphics, released 2 November 2018. Printed Fairy type, in keeping with the Sun & Moon-era rules covered above. It’s also one of the priciest cards on this list — our PSA 10 is currently listed at ¥77,220 (~$486) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
Slurpuff — CP3 Pokekyun Collection (024/032)
One of the oldest sets on this list — CP3 Pokekyun Collection, released 29 January 2016 — and one of the most on-theme, since the set itself leaned into pastel, “kyun” (heart-fluttering) artwork. Slurpuff, illustrated by MAHOU, was released alongside its pre-evolution Swirlix (023/032) in the same set. Printed Fairy type, U rarity. Blissey V — S6K Jet-Black Spirit (079/070 SR)
Blissey rounds out the list — printed Colorless, so pink by artwork rather than type, in an alternate-art SR from S6K Jet-Black Spirit, illustrated by Saya Tsuruta, released 23 April 2021. No. This is an editorial roundup based on the colour of the Pokemon in the artwork, not a printed type. The cards on this list are printed as Psychic, Fairy or Colorless depending on the set and era.
Are Sylveon and Clefairy Fairy-type cards?
It depends on the printing. Fairy Energy debuted in the Kalos Starter Set during the XY era, but the Fairy type ceased being supported by the TCG from the Sword & Shield expansion onwards, so newer Scarlet & Violet-era Sylveon and Clefairy prints are printed Psychic. Older Sun & Moon-era prints, like the Sylveon GX and the Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff GX here, are still printed Fairy.

The SV4a Shiny Treasure ex Jigglypuff (306/190) isn’t currently in our PSA 10 lineup. It’s still available to source through our Quick Order page — we just don’t post a fixed price until we have one listed.
What does “SAR” or “SSR” mean on a Japanese card?
They’re official rarity codes printed by The Pokemon Company on Japanese cards — SAR is Special Art Rare, SSR is Shiny Super Rare/Shiny Ultra Rare depending on era. We use the printed rarity from each set rather than community nicknames like “alt art.”
