Yuu Nishida Pikachu 031/103: 30th Celebration Card Guide

Card 031/103 is the fifteenth of thirty Pikachu in Pokémon’s 30th CELEBRATION set (M6a) — the exact midpoint of the set’s dedicated illustrator subset. The official card database credits Yuu Nishida as the artist behind this print.

30th CELEBRATION released worldwide on Wednesday, 16 September 2026. Here’s what’s confirmed about 031/103: its attack text from the official database, where it sits in the 30-card Pikachu run, and what comparable graded Pikachu prints are currently listed at on our site. 031/103 has an official card-database image, shown below, but no dedicated image on the 30th anniversary site yet.

Key Takeaways

Pikachu 031/103 is 15/30 in 30th CELEBRATION’s Pikachu subset, illustrated by Yuu Nishida per the official card database. It carries two attacks — Energized Tail, an Energy-search effect, and Pika Punch for 30 damage. 031/103 has an official card-database image but no dedicated image on the 30th anniversary site yet. 031/103 has no dated marketplace figure in this update; our M6a 30th CELEBRATION Booster Box is currently listed as a pre-order at ¥25,000 (~$162) sealed, and graded Pikachu prints are browsable in our PSA10 collection.

What Is Pikachu 031/103 in 30th Celebration?

Pikachu 031/103 is a main-set card in M6a 30th CELEBRATION, confirmed in the official card database with its JP name (ピカチュウ) and illustrator credit. It’s one of the thirty cards in the set’s dedicated Pikachu subset (017–046), where every card carries a different illustrator and a different attack, and every pack of the set guarantees exactly one of them.

031/103 has an official card-database image but no dedicated image on the 30th anniversary site yet. The database image is shown below.

The card text, per PokeBeach’s 9 September 2026 translation of the official database entry, gives 031/103 two attacks — unusual for this subset, where most of the thirty Pikachu carry only one:

  • [C] Energized Tail — Search your deck for an Energy card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your deck.
  • [L][C] Pika Punch — 30 damage.

Weakness is Fighting (×2), there’s no listed Resistance, and retreat cost is 2 Energy, where most of the thirty retreat for 1.

Yuu Nishida’s Illustrator Credit

The official card database credits Yuu Nishida as the illustrator of 031/103. As career background, per Bulbapedia, Nishida won the Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix, which led to her first card illustration, Gardevoir. She has illustrated 69 TCG cards total, plus 28 cards for Pokémon TCG Pocket, created the booster-pack artwork for VMAX Climax, and works with a touchscreen tablet and Clip Studio Paint. For more of her work, see our Yuu Nishida cards guide.

Note that a different artist, Atsuko Nishida, illustrated a separate card in this same subset — card 041/103, covered in its own guide — and the two share a surname but are not the same person.

Where 031 Sits in the 30-Pikachu Subset

At 15/30, 031/103 sits almost exactly in the middle of the illustrator sequence, which runs 01/30 (card 017) through 30/30 (card 046). Here are two other cards from the same subset that additionally have a dedicated image on the 30th anniversary site — shown purely as examples of how the subset is presented, not as 031 itself.

How 30th Celebration’s Full Numbering Breaks Down

031/103 sits inside the main set, the block of 30th CELEBRATION that’s confirmed in the official database. The official card list published on 9 September covers the main set 001–103, the Classic Collection 136–165 and the eight Basic Energy; the AR/SAR/FUR block 104–135 is compiled from official images and marketplace listings and is still not in the official database, even though all 32 of its cards have now been seen.

Block Numbers Count Status, 16 Sep 2026
Main set (incl. the 30 Pikachu, 017–046) 001–103 103 Official database
AR (Art Rare) 104–123 20 Compiled; all 20 now seen
SAR (Special Art Rare) 124–133 10 Compiled; all 10 now seen (release-day listings for 128 Mewtwo ex, 129 Mew ex, 131 Gengar ex)
FUR (Futuristic Rare) 134–135 2 Compiled; shown
Classic Collection 136–165 30 Official database (marked C, not Standard-legal)

Total: 165 numbered cards plus eight Basic Energy (173 in all; PokeBeach’s headline figure is 176). All 32 secret rares (104–135) have now been seen — the last five (including 119 Kommo-o AR and 121 Ditto AR) surfaced with release-day listings on SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026 — but the block is still not in the official card database. For the full breakdown of the secret-rare numbering, see our numbering explainer.

Box Structure and What the Market Shows

Every pack of 30th CELEBRATION is guaranteed 1 of the 30 Pikachu and 1 YOSHIROTTEN Basic Energy card, among six foil cards total, at ¥360 per pack. A box holds 20 packs for ¥7,200 tax-in MSRP.

PokeBeach reported, from an official box opening shown before release, that one 20-pack box held 20 of the 30 Pikachu, 2 Classic Collection cards, 4 AR, 1 SAR and 1 FUR — one opening, not a published rate. The Pokémon Company has not published pull rates for this set, and we’re not converting that single opening into a percentage.

On the secondary market, SNKRDUNK’s lowest sealed-box ask has moved sharply since the card list went public: ¥47,200 on September 1, ¥28,200 on September 10 and ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026 — still about 2.4× the ¥7,200 MSRP; the no-shrink box ask moved from ¥25,800 (September 10) to ¥13,290 (September 16). Singles are now listed on SNKRDUNK, but 031/103 has no dated marketplace figure in this update.
