Kommo-o AR 119/103: 30th Celebration Card Guide

Kommo-o AR 119/103: 30th Celebration Card Guide

30th CELEBRATION (M6a) released worldwide on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, bringing with it a 32-card block of Art Rares, Special Art Rares and Futuristic Rares numbered 104–135 — a block that was only fully revealed on release day itself. Kommo-o AR 119/103 was one of the last five to surface, appearing in a SNKRDUNK listing with a card image on September 16, 2026.

This guide covers what’s confirmed about the Kommo-o line in 30th CELEBRATION: the regular print’s full evolution chain and card text, how the AR version relates to it, and what the release-day market and our own store show since the set went live.

Updated September 16, 2026 — Release Day

Kommo-o AR 119/103 is the Art Rare version of the regular Kommo-o card at 091/103, a Stage 2 Dragon-type with 180 HP and a 250-damage attack, Blazing Uppercut. It’s one of the five secret rares that stayed unseen until release day, with a first release-day ask of ¥1,000 on SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026. Our M6a 30th CELEBRATION Booster Box is currently listed as a pre-order at ¥25,000 (~$162) sealed.

What Is Kommo-o AR 119/103?

Kommo-o AR 119/103 is an Art Rare print in M6a 30th CELEBRATION. AR and SAR illustrators are unpublished (the two FUR cards are by YOSHIROTTEN), and there is no embeddable official image for the AR print itself — SNKRDUNK’s listing images are third-party and aren’t used here. What follows shows the regular print of the same card, 091/103, illustrated by MARINA Chikazawa; the AR artwork is not pictured in this article.

Kommo-o 091/103, regular print, illustrated by MARINA Chikazawa — 30th CELEBRATION (official product image, The Pokémon Company). The AR print at 119/103 shares this card’s text but is not pictured here.

119/103 sits in the AR block (104–123), one of twenty Art Rares compiled from official images and PokeBeach’s September 9 list. Kommo-o AR was among the five secret rares — alongside Ditto AR 121, Mewtwo ex SAR 128, Mew ex SAR 129 and Gengar ex SAR 131 — that hadn’t been shown anywhere as of September 11; all five surfaced with release-day SNKRDUNK listings on September 16, 2026.

The Full Evolution Line: Jangmo-o to Kommo-o

Kommo-o’s two pre-evolutions are also in the main set, each with its own official illustrator:

Card Number Stage Illustrator
Jangmo-o 089/103 Basic miki kudo
Hakamo-o 090/103 Stage 1 (evolves from Jangmo-o) Jiro Sasumo
Kommo-o 091/103 Stage 2 (evolves from Hakamo-o) MARINA Chikazawa
Kommo-o AR 119/103 Stage 2 (same card as 091) Unpublished (AR)

Jangmo-o (089/103) is a Dragon-type Basic with 70 HP, an attack called Screech, which causes the Defending Pokémon to take 30 more damage from attacks during your next turn (after applying Weakness and Resistance), and a Dragon Claw attack for 40 damage. Hakamo-o (090/103) has 90 HP, a 20-damage Sharp Fang and a 70-damage Dragon Claw. Both feed into the Stage 2 Kommo-o line that AR 119 belongs to.

Card Details: Blazing Uppercut and the Numbers

Attribute Detail
Card number 119/103 (AR); regular print at 091/103
JP name ジャラランガ
Type Dragon
HP 180
Stage Stage 2, evolves from Hakamo-o
Status Compiled; seen in a SNKRDUNK listing dated September 16, 2026; not in the official database. Regular print 091/103 is in the official database

The card text, per PokeBeach’s September 9, 2026 translation and shared by both the regular print and the AR version, is a single attack:

  • [L][F][C] Blazing Uppercut — 250 damage.

Kommo-o has no listed Weakness or Resistance, and retreat cost is 2 Energy. At 180 HP with a flat 250-damage attack for three energy of mixed types, it’s one of the harder-hitting Stage 2 attackers in the main set — a straightforward finisher rather than a card built around abilities or combo effects.

Illustrator Status: AR Credits Are Unpublished

The official card database does not credit an illustrator for AR 119/103 specifically, and as of September 16, 2026 it still doesn’t list the AR block as its own set of entries at all. AR and SAR illustrators are unpublished across the whole 104–133 range (the two FUR cards, 134 and 135, are the exception — both officially credited to YOSHIROTTEN). What is confirmed is the illustrator of the regular print this AR is based on: MARINA Chikazawa, credited on 091/103 in the official database.

Because the AR shares its card text and Pokémon identity with the regular print, everything about how Kommo-o plays — its HP, its attack, its evolution line — is confirmed even though the AR illustration itself isn’t publicly attributed yet.

How 30th Celebration’s Full Numbering Breaks Down

119/103 sits in the AR block, one part of the wider secret-rare range that is compiled rather than official. The database itself covers the main set 001–103, the Classic Collection 136–165 and the eight Basic Energy; the AR/SAR/FUR block 104–135 is compiled from official images and PokeBeach’s September 9 list and is still not in the official card database. All 32 secret rares have now been seen — the last five, including this card, surfaced with release-day listings on SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026.

Block Numbers Count Status, Sep 16, 2026
Main set 001–103 103 Official database
AR (Art Rare) 104–123 20 Compiled; all now seen (incl. 119)
SAR (Special Art Rare) 124–133 10 Compiled; all now seen
FUR (Futuristic Rare) 134–135 2 Compiled; YOSHIROTTEN
Classic Collection 136–165 30 Official database (marked C, not Standard-legal)

Total: 165 numbered cards plus eight Basic Energy (173 in all; PokeBeach’s headline figure is 176). For the full picture of the block Kommo-o AR belongs to, see our AR list: all 20 Art Rares.

Release-Day Market: What Kommo-o AR Is Asking

Kommo-o AR 119/103 had no live marketplace listing as of September 11, 2026. Its first appearance on SNKRDUNK came with the release-day card reveal: a lowest asking price of ¥1,000 across 6 listings, dated September 16, 2026. That’s the first release-day ask for this card — not a sale, and not necessarily where it settles once more packs are opened.

Sealed product has also moved since the set’s card list went public. The lowest asking price for a sealed M6a box on SNKRDUNK went from ¥47,200 on September 1 to ¥28,200 on September 10 and ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026 — still about 2.4× the ¥7,200 MSRP. PokeBeach reported, from an official box opening shown before release, that one 20-pack box held 20 of the 30 Pikachu, 2 Classic Collection cards, 4 AR, 1 SAR and 1 FUR — one opening, not a published rate; the Pokémon Company has not published pull rates for AR cards specifically.
