Card Details: Awakening DNA, Boost Dash and Happy Maker GX
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Card number | 188/173 |
| Rarity (official database) | SR |
| Type | Colorless |
| HP | 160 |
| Stage | Basic |
| Weakness | Fighting (×2) |
| Retreat | 1 |
Per the official database, Eevee GX carries one Ability and two attacks:
- Ability — Awakening DNA: during your turn, you may evolve this Pokémon by playing from your hand a card that evolves from Eevee, laid directly on top of it (not on your first turn or the turn you put this Pokémon into play). Before evolving, heal all damage from this Pokémon.
- [C][C][C] Boost Dash — 100 damage.
- [C] Happy Maker GX — show your opponent any 3 cards from your discard pile and put them into your hand. You can only use 1 GX attack in a game.
Awakening DNA lets a deck evolve Eevee GX directly into a card that evolves from Eevee, healing all prior damage in the process, provided it isn’t your first turn or the turn Eevee GX itself came down. Boost Dash is a plain three-energy attack for 100 damage. Happy Maker GX is a one-time recovery effect — since it’s a GX attack, a deck can only fire it once per game, and knocking out a Pokémon-GX gives the opponent 2 Prize cards per the format’s GX rule.
Two Eevee GX Prints in the Same Set
Tag All-Stars actually contains two cards named イーブイGX: this one at 188/173, credited to Q-rais, and a second print at 187/173, credited to a different illustrator, aky CG Works. Both carry the SR rarity icon in the official database, and the database does not use the term “SA” for either — that label comes from how our own listing describes the special-art treatment of 188/173.
Eevee GX also appears, under different illustration, inside three starter decks: SMI 017/038 in スターターセット「炎のブースターGX」, SMI 018/038 in スターターセット「水のシャワーズGX」, and SMI 019/038 in スターターセット「雷のサンダースGX」, all three credited to illustrator PLANETA Otani. Those starter-deck prints are separate cards from both 187/173 and 188/173, and none of the five have been confirmed by the database to share identical card text with each other beyond the species name and GX format.

Two more graded GX cards share similar /173 numbering — Umbreon & Darkrai GX SR SA at 182/173 and Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno GX RR at 102/173 — though our listing does not name their set. All four, along with Eevee GX itself, are currently listed on our site:

These are separate cards, not other copies of Eevee GX — they’re grouped here because they share similar /173 numbering. Prices span from RR prints to special-art SR prints. See our Tag All-Stars booster box buying guide for the sealed side of this set.
