What Is Misty & Lorelei SR 191/173?
Misty & Lorelei (JP name カスミ&カンナ, written under a TAG TEAM banner) is a Trainer’s Supporter card numbered 191/173 in SM12a, the high-class pack ハイクラスパック「TAG TEAM GX タッグオールスターズ」 — usually labelled Tag All-Stars in English. The official database lists it as SR (Super Rare), illustrated by Ryuta Fuse. SM12a released on October 4, 2019, at ¥500 (plus tax) per 11-card pack.
The card image carries regulation mark C and a ©2019 print date, matching the October 2019 release. On the artwork itself, Misty appears on the left with a short orange side-ponytail, yellow top and denim shorts, and Lorelei appears on the right with long red hair, glasses and a dark outfit — each holding a Poké Ball, against a yellow honeycomb background. That description is our own observation of the card image, not database text. Note that カスミのおねがい (Misty’s Favor) is a different card with its own text and printings, covered separately in our Misty Pokémon cards guide.

([水] stands for the Water-type energy icon printed on the card)
Our rendering: “Search your deck for up to 3 Water Energy cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. When you play this card, you may discard 5 cards from your hand. If you do, during this turn, your Water Pokémon can use their GX attacks even if you have already used your GX attack. You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn.”
The card does two separate things: it’s an Energy-search Supporter on its own, and paying the optional 5-card discard on top turns it into a GX-attack unlock for your Water Pokémon for that turn. The two effects are independent of each other — the Energy search happens whether or not the discard is paid.
The Other カスミ&カンナ Print in the Database
The official database lists two カスミ&カンナ cards, both from SM12a:
| Set | Rarity | Illustrator | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 147/173 | SM12a Tag All-Stars | — (no rarity icon) | Megumi Mizutani |
| 191/173 (this guide) | SM12a Tag All-Stars | SR | Ryuta Fuse |
Both prints carry identical card text, and both come from the same SM12a set — there’s no earlier or later print of this exact TAG TEAM pairing to compare against. No HR or SSR printing of カスミ&カンナ exists in the database — the 191/173 SR is the only secret-rare-tier version of this pairing, and the 147/173 print carries no rarity icon in the database. For more on the 147/173 print’s illustrator, see our Megumi Mizutani illustrator guide.
Dated Asking Price and Our PSA10 Listing
