OP-02 Paramount War Booster Box: Japanese One Piece Box Contents

OP-02 Paramount War Booster Box: Japanese One Piece Box Contents

An OP02 booster box carries one detail that Bandai spells out and leaves most others blank: a bonus card, one of six types, inserted at random in each box. The same official page prints no packs-per-box figure, no box price and no pull rates.

The official One Piece Card Game product page for BOOSTER PACK -PARAMOUNT WAR- [OP-02] (頂上決戦), as printed on October 1, 2026, gives a Japanese release date of November 4, 2022, a pack price of ¥198 including tax, six cards plus one index card per pack and 121 card types. The English product page prints March 10, 2023 and USD $4.19 per pack.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.

Key Takeaways

Per the official page, each OP-02 box includes one bonus card chosen at random from six types; the page does not name the six. Our regular OP-02 box is a variable product whose Box option is currently listed at ¥19,651 (~$128) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), and the Carton option is listed with its own price. The Damaged Box is a separate product.

Updated October 7, 2026 — Store Listings Refreshed

Official product facts are as printed on the official product pages and the official card database on October 1, 2026; every SNKRDUNK figure is the lowest asking price on October 1, 2026 unless another date is given. The October 7, 2026 update covers our store listings and prices only; the other facts in this article were last checked on October 2, 2026.

What the OP-02 Booster Box Is

OP-02 is the second main booster set of the One Piece Card Game. Bandai’s Japanese name is 頂上決戦 and the English name is Paramount War. A booster box is the sealed retail box of packs for one set. For OP-02 the official pages describe the packs, the card list and the box bonus card, but they print no packs-per-box figure, no box price and no carton configuration.

The Japanese page also carries a notice that the release date was changed from the first announcement. The date in the table is the one the page prints as of October 1, 2026.

Our guide to Japanese One Piece booster boxes places OP-02 among the other sets we list, and the One Piece card sets in order timeline shows where it sits in the release sequence.

Official Contents: The 121 Card Types

The Japanese product page breaks the 121 types down by rarity. The official card database for the set lists 154 rows: 121 base prints and 33 suffixed rows, of which 32 carry the suffix _p1 and one carries _p2. The table lists the printed counts beside the parallel rows the database holds for each rarity.

Rarity (official name) Code Types printed Parallel rows in the database
Leader Card L 8 8
Common C 45 2
Uncommon UC 30 4
Rare R 26 6
Super Rare SR 10 11
Secret Rare SEC 2 2

The parallel column adds up to the 33 suffixed rows. The Super Rare figure is 11 rather than 10 because Ace, OP02-013, has two parallel rows. The page’s own pitch describes Black as a new colour making its full entry in this set, together with new multicolour Leaders.

For every card in the set, our OP-02 listing page is the place to browse, and the OP-02 complete card list walks through each rarity.

The Box Bonus Card: What the Official Page Prints

The Japanese page states, in its own words, that a bonus card is inserted in each box: 「BOX封入特典カード 全6種から1枚ランダムで封入されています」. The English page prints the same idea: “A Box includes a bundled bonus card 1 of the 6 types will be included at random.”

That is the whole official statement. The pages do not name the six cards, do not give their numbers and do not say whether they are among the parallel rows, and the card database does not label any row as a box bonus. Anything beyond that sentence — which six, how they look, what they cost — is not an official fact, and a card sold as a bonus card is described by whoever is selling it.

What the page prints What it does not print
One bonus card per box The names or numbers of the six cards
Six types in total Whether the bonus is a parallel print
Chosen at random Any rate for any of the six

The practical point for a buyer is that the page describes the bonus card as part of the box. A single card sold separately, with or without a bonus-card description, has to be judged on its number and its listing.

Ace, Uta and Kuzan: The Cards Collectors Ask About

Two Secret Rare numbers sit at the end of the set: OP02-120 Uta (ウタ, purple) and OP02-121 Kuzan (クザン, black). Each has a base row and one parallel row in the database, and both are printed as SEC. Portgas D. Ace (ポートガス・D・エース, red), OP02-013, is a Super Rare with a base row and two parallel rows, _p1 and _p2. The database prints no label that says what makes any parallel row different from its base.

On SNKRDUNK, the OP02-013 listing labelled SR-SP (コミパラ) shows a lowest ask of ¥100,000 as of October 1, 2026, while the listing labelled SR-P shows ¥5,000 and the one labelled SR shows ¥1,000. Those labels are SNKRDUNK’s own naming, not Bandai’s, and every figure is an asking price.

Card (DB rows) SNKRDUNK listing label Lowest ask, October 1, 2026 PSA 10 back order from us
Ace OP02-013 (base, _p1, _p2) SR-SP (コミパラ) ¥100,000 ¥210,090 (~$1,364)

Kuzan OP02-121 (base, _p1) SEC-P ¥3,200 No priced listing
Kuzan OP02-121 SEC ¥1,000 No priced listing

The last column shows PSA 10 listings, each offered as a PSA 10 back order — sourced to order, with the product page showing the current terms. The mechanics are in our PSA 10 back-order explainer. PSA 10 designates Gem Mint condition per PSA’s published grading standards, and a back-order price is a price for a graded card, not for the box. Our listing for the Ace SR-SP (Comic Parallel) uses that label in its product name; the official database prints no such label.

Leaders, Super Rares and the Parallel Rows

All eight Leaders and all ten Super Rares have a parallel row in the database. The table lists the Leaders with the DB colour and the SNKRDUNK ask for the listing labelled L-P as of October 1, 2026. Magellan is the only Leader with a listing labelled plain L on October 1, 2026, at ¥1,000.

Leader (number) Colour (DB) Listing labelled L-P, lowest ask
Smoker スモーカー (OP02-093) 黒 ¥6,500

Emporio Ivankov エンポリオ・イワンコフ (OP02-049) 青 ¥2,999
Z ゼット (OP02-072) 紫/黒 ¥1,980

Three Leaders are printed in two colours in the database: Garp (red and black), Sanji (green and blue) and Z (purple and black). The Super Rares with parallels, by listing labelled SR-P:

Super Rare (number) Colour (DB) Listing labelled SR-P, lowest ask, October 1, 2026

Kuzan クザン (OP02-096) 黒 ¥1,000

Rare parallels follow in the database as Masked Deuce 017, Marco 018, Luffy 041, Buggy 058, Sadi-chan 073 and Garp 115. Of those, the Sadi-chan R-P listing shows a lowest ask of ¥21,000 as of October 1, 2026. Our graded listings for some of these cards are offered as PSA 10 back orders:

PSA 10 back order (listing name) Number Currently listed at
Sanji L-P OP02-026 ¥11,152 (~$72)
Uta SEC OP02-120 ¥9,996 (~$65)
Masked Deuce R-P OP02-017 ¥8,670 (~$56)

The OP-02 parallel and alt-art card list sets out all 33 parallel rows in one place.

Pull Rates: What Bandai Has Not Published

Bandai does not publish pull rates for OP-02. The Japanese and English product pages and the official rules Q&A, checked October 1, 2026, print no insertion rate for any rarity, and the only randomness statements are that cards are inserted at random and that one of six bonus types is included per box. A figure for how many Secret Rares or parallels a box holds is therefore not an official number.

What the official pages do give is the structure: the rarity counts in the contents table, six cards plus an index card per pack, 27 parallel versions and the six-type box bonus. Our OP-02 best cards and buying guide post is our own writing and not an official source.

The Box on SNKRDUNK

SNKRDUNK lists the Japanese sealed OP-02 box under the name ワンピースカードゲーム ブースターパック 頂上決戦 ボックス. The figures are SNKRDUNK’s lowest asking price on each date.

Item Lowest ask, September 30, 2026 Lowest ask, October 1, 2026
OP-02 sealed box (SNKRDUNK id 136032) ¥18,800 ¥18,800
OP-02 single pack (SNKRDUNK id 98097) — ¥1,000

As of October 1, 2026, these are asking prices on a marketplace, not the official box price and not a figure for any sale. SNKRDUNK shows no separate listing for a box without shrink-wrap and no English-version box in the same search.

Japanese OP-02 vs the English Release

Bandai’s English product page describes the set under the same code, OP-02, and the same English name, Paramount War. The two pages print different release dates and prices, and the same rarity counts.

Buyer Checklist for an OP-02 Box

Because the official pages leave most of the box undefined, the checklist is about reading a listing.

  • Language. Confirm the product is the Japanese 頂上決戦 box. SNKRDUNK’s search for the box shows no English-version box for OP-02.
  • Which option. On a variable product the price belongs to a named option. For our regular product, the Box option and the Carton option each have their own price.
  • Which product. The regular box and the Damaged Box are separate products with separate pages; read the condition terms on the page you choose.
  • Packs per box. Not printed by Bandai. Read the figure from the listing instead of assuming it.
  • The bonus card. Official text covers one card of six types per box and nothing more. Treat any description of which six as the seller’s, not Bandai’s.
  • Price basis. The only official price is the pack price. A box price is a marketplace or store figure, and an SNKRDUNK ask is an ask.
  • Rarity vocabulary. Our One Piece card rarity explainer defines L, C, UC, R, SR and SEC.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many cards are in OP-02 Paramount War?

The official Japanese page prints 121 card types: 8 Leaders, 45 Commons, 30 Uncommons, 26 Rares, 10 Super Rares and 2 Secret Rares. It also states that 27 parallel versions exist, and the official card database holds 33 suffixed rows beside the 121 base prints.

When did OP-02 release in Japan and in English?

The Japanese 頂上決戦 released on November 4, 2022, per the official Japanese product page, which also carries a notice that the date changed from the first announcement. The English Paramount War page prints March 10, 2023. As of October 1, 2026, both pages print a pack price and no box price.

How much does an OP-02 booster box cost?

Bandai prints only the pack price: ¥198 including tax in Japan and $4.19 in English. Our regular box has its Box option currently listed at ¥19,651 (~$128) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), and the lowest SNKRDUNK box ask was ¥18,800 on October 1, 2026, an asking price and not an official figure.

What is the OP-02 box bonus card?

The official pages say each box includes one bonus card, chosen at random from six types. They do not name the six cards or give their numbers, and the card database does not label any row as a box bonus, so anything more specific comes from sellers rather than from Bandai.

How many packs are in an OP-02 booster box?

The official Japanese and English product pages do not print a packs-per-box figure, so it is not an official number. Read it from the listing you buy. Each pack holds six cards plus one index card according to the Japanese page, and the cards are inserted at random.

What is the OP-02 Damaged Box?

A Damaged Box is a separate product from the regular box, with its own page and price, currently listed at ¥16,971 (~$110). It is discounted because of cosmetic damage to the outer box (e.g., dents or scratches), and the cards inside are unaffected. It is sold as-is: returns and refunds are not accepted.

Is an OP-02 carton available?

The Carton option of our regular OP-02 product is listed on the product page with its own price, separate from the Box option. Bandai prints no carton configuration for the set. Carton orders ship from Tokyo by FedEx, and shipping is calculated from the actual weight at checkout.

Can I buy a PSA 10 Ace from OP-02?

The PSA 10 Portgas D. Ace SR-SP (Comic Parallel) [OP02-013] is offered as a PSA 10 back order, currently listed at ¥210,090 (~$1,364). That is a graded-card price, not a box price, and the PSA 10 back-order explainer describes how a back order is fulfilled.
