The English White Flare and Black Bolt Booster Bundles are six-pack products, while the Japanese SV11 expansion is sold as 7-card packs, 35-card deluxe packs and boxes of packs. The official pokemon.com product page gives the bundles’ launch as August 22, 2025, five weeks after the English expansions’ Release Date of July 18, 2025.
The Japanese side is the SV11 release, 拡張パック「ブラックボルト」 and 「ホワイトフレア」, which the official page at pokemon-card.com/ex/sv11/ dates June 6, 2025 at ¥290 per pack. Bulbapedia’s pages for the two headline cards, Reshiram ex and Zekrom ex, state that each was first released in the Japanese expansion with the same name, and the prints pair by illustrator credit.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. Store prices are as listed on October 2, 2026, with USD at ¥154 per dollar, approximate.
Each English bundle holds six booster packs of one expansion, and the official page lists no promo card. The official Japanese SV11 page lists 7-card packs, 35-card deluxe packs and a card file set, and no booster bundle. Reshiram ex and Zekrom ex each have four English prints and four SV11 prints that pair by illustrator credit, ending in the 174/086 BWR cards. The Japanese SV11W box is listed as SV11W box (Sealed) ¥20,396 (~$132).
The bundle contents and launch date come from the official pokemon.com product page; the set pairings and rarity labels are attributed to Limitless TCG and Bulbapedia.
What Is Inside the White Flare and Black Bolt Booster Bundles
The official pokemon.com page covers both products at once. It is titled Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt and White Flare Booster Bundles and prints “Launch: August 22, 2025”. Its contents sentence reads: “Expand your collection with a Booster Bundle containing six booster packs from the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt expansion or a Booster Bundle containing six booster packs from the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—White Flare expansion.” Each bundle is six packs of one expansion, and the two bundles are separate products.

The page also describes what the packs hold: “keep an eye out for full-art illustrations of each Pokémon and cards with premium parallel Poké Ball patterns.” Bulbapedia’s merchandise page, as of October 2, 2026, calls the pair the third wave of Black Bolt & White Flare merchandise on August 22, 2025, says Black Bolt Booster Bundles were packaged with six Black Bolt booster packs, and says White Flare Booster Bundles “similarly came with six White Flare booster packs.” It lists no promotional cards for either bundle.
The bundles sit beside other official products for the same expansions. The Elite Trainer Box has its own comparison with the Japanese boxes and the poster collection has its own comparison.
The Japanese SV11 Lineup: Packs, Deluxe Packs and the Card File Set
The official page at pokemon-card.com/ex/sv11/ presents 拡張パック「ブラックボルト」 and 「ホワイトフレア」 together and prints the release date 2025年6月6日, June 6, 2025, on every product. A booster bundle is not among the products it lists. The page does not print how many packs a Japanese box holds.
| Official product | Contents as printed | Price (tax included) |
|---|---|---|
| 拡張パック「ブラックボルト」 | 7 cards per pack, randomly inserted | ¥290 |
| 拡張パック「ホワイトフレア」 | 7 cards per pack, randomly inserted | ¥290 |
| 拡張パックデラックス「ブラックボルト」 | 35 cards in one pack | ¥1,450 |

| ブラックボルト・ホワイトフレア カードファイルセット | Victini promo card (kira), a 3-pocket card file holding 156 cards, and three packs each of Black Bolt and White Flare | ¥2,640 |
The page’s feature lines describe the cards in its own words. One says every Pokémon in the two sets has a card with special artwork, and full-art designs get their own mention (rendering of 「拡張パック「ブラックボルト」「ホワイトフレア」に収録される全てのポケモンに特別なイラストのカードがあるぞ!」). Another announces mirror cards with a Poké Ball pattern finish in addition to regular cards (rendering of 「通常のカードに加えて、モンスターボール柄の特殊な加工がされた、豪華ミラー仕様のカードを収録!」). The card file is introduced as holding all 156 Pokémon discovered in the Unova region (rendering of 「イッシュ地方で発見されたポケモン156種類をすべて1冊に収納できる…」).
The store lists its Japanese boxes as SV11W-White Flare Japanese Pokemon Booster Box and SV11B-Black Bolt Japanese Pokemon Booster Box, and DX is the store’s name for the 拡張パックデラックス product. The set pages are the White Flare booster box buying guide, the Black Bolt booster box buying guide and the Black Bolt versus White Flare box comparison.

How White Flare and Black Bolt Map to SV11
Bulbapedia’s English set page, as of October 2, 2026, carries a note naming the Japanese equivalent set and gives the infobox figures of 172 cards for Black Bolt and 173 for White Flare, released July 18, 2025. The official English pages say “Over 170” cards for each. Bulbapedia’s card pages for Reshiram ex and Zekrom ex both say the card was “first released in the Japanese expansion with the same name.”
| Fact | English | Japanese |
|---|---|---|
| Release date | July 18, 2025 (pokemon.com) | June 6, 2025 (pokemon-card.com/ex/sv11/) |
| Card count | Over 170 per set (pokemon.com); 172 Black Bolt and 173 White Flare (Bulbapedia) | The BWR cards are numbered 174/086 in the official database |
| Printed denominator | 086 on both sets (Bulbapedia card pages) | 086 on both sets (official database) |
| Illustration rare cards | 70 in White Flare; more than 65 in Black Bolt (pokemon.com) | Every Pokémon has a special-art card (official page, rendering) |
| Special illustration rare cards | More than 5 per set (pokemon.com) | SAR prints such as 168/086 and 169/086 (official database) |
| Regional scope | All 156 Pokémon first discovered in Unova (pokemon.com, White Flare) | 156 Unova Pokémon in the card file (official page, rendering) |
The English expansions are described by the official page as a split expansion, with White Flare built around Tepig, Oshawott, Reshiram ex and Keldeo ex, and Black Bolt around Snivy, Zekrom ex and Meloetta ex. The Japanese release is likewise two parallel expansions, 「ブラックボルト」 and 「ホワイトフレア」, which is why the store lists one box for each. Set-level pages are the White Flare card list, the Black Bolt card list and, for pack-level odds and chase cards, the White Flare pull rates and best cards and Black Bolt pull rates and best cards articles.
Reshiram ex: Four English Prints and Four SV11W Prints
The official White Flare overview names Reshiram ex among the Legendary and Mythical Pokémon of the set. Limitless TCG lists four English prints, and the official Japanese card database lists four SV11W prints under レシラムex. The pairs line up by illustrator credit; matching credits are the basis for pairing, not evidence that the images are identical.
| English print (Limitless TCG) | Japanese print (official database) | Illustrator credit | Relationship |
|---|---|---|---|
| White Flare 20, Double Rare | SV11W 017/086, RR | 5ban Graphics | Same credit |
| White Flare 158, Ultra Rare | SV11W 160/086 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), SR | 5ban Graphics | Same credit |
| White Flare 166, Special Art Rare | SV11W 168/086, SAR | kawayoo | Same credit |
| White Flare 173, Secret Rare | SV11W 174/086, BWR | 5ban Graphics | Same credit |
The numbers differ by set: the English prints are 20, 158, 166 and 173, and the Japanese prints are 017, 160, 168 and 174. Bulbapedia’s infobox pairs them as 020/086 with 017/086, 158/086 with 160/086, 166/086 with 168/086 and 173/086 with 174/086. Its release text says the Regular, ultra rare and Black White rare prints feature artwork by 5ban Graphics, and the special illustration rare print features artwork by kawayoo, matching the database credits.
The database prints the same card text on every SV11W Reshiram ex: a Basic Fire Pokémon with HP 230, the attack きりさく for 50 with two Colorless Energy, and the attack ブレイズバースト for 130+ with two Fire and one Colorless Energy, which adds 50 damage for each Prize card the opponent has already taken and discards one Energy from the Pokémon (rendering). The special rule gives the opponent 2 Prize cards when a Pokémon ex is Knocked Out. Weakness is Water ×2, there is no Resistance, and the retreat cost is 2. Limitless’s English entry reads “Reshiram ex – Fire – 230 HP”.
The database also lists two reprints of the regular print, M2a 029/193 RR and MC 126/742, both credited to 5ban Graphics. Bulbapedia says the Regular print was reprinted in the MEGA Dream ex subset and in the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection. Every Japanese print of the card is covered in the Reshiram ex every Japanese print guide.
Reshiram ex RR 017/086

The RR is the Japanese counterpart of White Flare 20 by credit, 5ban Graphics.
Reshiram ex SAR 168/086

The SAR carries the credit kawayoo, unlike the 5ban Graphics credit on the other three SV11W prints, and pairs with White Flare 166.
Reshiram ex BWR 174/086

The BWR is numbered 174/086 and pairs with White Flare 173, credited to 5ban Graphics.
Zekrom ex: Four English Prints and Four SV11B Prints
The official Black Bolt overview names Zekrom ex and Meloetta ex among the Legendary and Mythical Pokémon of the set. The official database lists four SV11B prints under ゼクロムex, and Limitless TCG lists four English prints.
| English print (Limitless TCG) | Japanese print (official database) | Illustrator credit | Relationship |
|---|---|---|---|
| Black Bolt 34, Double Rare | SV11B 037/086, RR | takuyoa | Same credit |
| Black Bolt 158, Ultra Rare | SV11B 161/086, SR | takuyoa | Same credit |
| Black Bolt 166, Special Art Rare | SV11B 169/086, SAR | danciao | Same credit |
| Black Bolt 172, Secret Rare | SV11B 174/086, BWR | takuyoa | Same credit |
Bulbapedia’s infobox pairs 034/086 with 037/086, 158/086 with 161/086, 166/086 with 169/086 and 172/086 with 174/086, and its caption credits takuyoa for the Regular, ultra rare and Black White rare prints and danciao for the special illustration rare print. The database prints identical card text on all four: a Basic Lightning Pokémon with HP 230, the attack きりさく for 50, and the attack ボルテージバースト for 130+ with two Lightning and one Colorless Energy, which adds 50 damage per Prize card the opponent has taken and also deals 30 damage to the Pokémon itself (rendering). Weakness is Fighting ×2, there is no Resistance and the retreat cost is 2.
Reprints of the regular print appear as M2a 051/193 RR and MC 259/742, both credited to takuyoa. The BWR has its own write-up in the Zekrom ex 174/086 card guide.
Zekrom ex RR 037/086

The RR is the regular print inside the main set range and pairs with Black Bolt 34, credited to takuyoa.
Zekrom ex SAR 169/086

The SAR is credited to danciao and pairs with Black Bolt 166.
Zekrom ex BWR 174/086

The BWR is credited to takuyoa and pairs with Black Bolt 172.
The BWR Card: How Each Source Labels 174/086
The official Japanese SV11 page announces cards that appear as BWR (ビーダブリューレア), and the official card database prints a BWR rarity icon on Reshiram ex 174/086 in SV11W and on Zekrom ex 174/086 in SV11B. Other sources use their own labels for the same two cards, so the same print carries different rarity names depending on where it is read.
| Source | Label for the 174/086 card | Label for the English 173 / 172 print |
|---|---|---|
| Official Japanese SV11 page and card database | BWR | Not applicable |
| Limitless TCG | Ultra Rare (Japanese entry) | Secret Rare |
| Bulbapedia | Not applicable | Black White rare |
| Store listings | BWR | Not applicable |
The Japanese SR numbers 160 and 161 are labelled “Secret Rare” in Limitless’s Japanese entries, while the database prints the SR icon. Rarity codes for the Japanese prints are the database’s: RR, SR, SAR and BWR.

Buying Checklist: English Bundle or Japanese Box
- Contents. The English page lists six packs of one expansion per bundle and nothing else. The Japanese SV11 page lists 7-card packs, 35-card deluxe packs and a card file set.
- Numbers. Japanese cards are numbered out of 086 and so are the English cards per Bulbapedia, but the sequences differ: Reshiram ex is 20, 158, 166 and 173 in English and 017, 160, 168 and 174 in Japanese.
- Pairs. The pairings rest on identical illustrator credits and on Bulbapedia’s statement of a first Japanese release; they do not rest on a comparison of the images.
- Rarity names. BWR is the official Japanese label; Limitless TCG and Bulbapedia use other names for the same cards.
- Condition. The Sealed and No Shrink options belong to one box product, while the Damaged Box and the No Shrink Damaged Box are separate products. The product page states the condition.
- Dates. Each SNKRDUNK figure is an ask as of October 2, 2026, and each store price is as listed on that date.
