30th Celebration Release-Day Market Report: September 2026

30th Celebration Release-Day Market Report: September 2026

30th CELEBRATION (M6a) released worldwide on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. On release day SNKRDUNK carried live seller listings for the set’s chase cards, including first listings for five secret rares that had none in the September 10 fetch. This report is a dated snapshot of where those asking prices landed on release day, set against the sealed-product trend from September 1 and September 10, and against the pre-release forecasts that were published before the official release.

Every SNKRDUNK figure below is a lowest asking price — a seller’s listing price, not a completed sale — and every figure carries its own date; MSRP, pre-release forecasts and our own store listings are labelled separately below. We ship Japanese sealed product and singles out of Tokyo.

Key Takeaways

The M6a box’s lowest SNKRDUNK ask fell from ¥47,200 (Sept 1) to ¥28,200 (Sept 10) to ¥17,500 on release day, Sept 16, 2026 — still about 2.4x the ¥7,200 MSRP. All five previously-unlisted secret rares (Kommo-o AR, Ditto AR, Mewtwo ex SAR, Mew ex SAR, Gengar ex SAR) got their first release-day asks. Our M6a Booster Box is currently listed as a pre-order at ¥25,000 (~$162).

Sealed Product: Sept 1 → Sept 10 → Sept 16

Every sealed 30th CELEBRATION product kept falling into release rather than spiking:

Product MSRP Sept 1 ask Sept 10 ask Sept 16 ask
M6a Booster Box (shrink) ¥7,200 ¥47,200 ¥28,200 ¥17,500
M6a Booster Box (no shrink) ¥7,200 ¥25,800 ¥13,290
FUTURISTIC BOX ¥27,500 ¥115,000 ¥95,998 ¥49,500
Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon ¥6,200 ¥64,990 ¥30,100 ¥17,800
M6 Storm Emeralda Box (shrink, comparison) ¥6,000 ≈¥12,000 ¥10,250

On SNKRDUNK the lowest asking price for a sealed M6a box went from ¥47,200 on September 1 to ¥28,200 on September 10 and ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026 — still about 2.4x the ¥7,200 MSRP. The FUTURISTIC BOX followed the same pattern (¥115,000 → ¥95,998 → ¥49,500, MSRP ¥27,500, ≈1.8x), as did the Premium Deck Set (¥64,990 → ¥30,100 → ¥17,800, MSRP ¥6,200, ≈2.9x). As release-day listings multiplied, the lowest ask fell on all three products. The EN Elite Trainer Box had no live SNKRDUNK listing on September 16, 2026; the last figure available is a US $261 ask dated September 10, 2026.

The five cards marked “first listing” — Kommo-o AR, Ditto AR, Mewtwo ex SAR, Mew ex SAR and Gengar ex SAR — had no SNKRDUNK presence at all before release day; all 32 of the set’s secret rares have now been seen, though the AR/SAR/FUR block is still not in the official card database. No dated marketplace figure exists in this update for any card not listed above, including the other 29 Pikachu (018–046), Victini AR-style [MF 041/040] and Zeraora AR-style [MF 042/040] — do not assume a price for any of those.

RGB Mew: The Unnumbered Secret Rares

Three secret Mew cards — R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB, illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN — were pulled from early-opened 30th Celebration products and surfaced in a Pokemon TCG Live update on September 15, per PokeBeach (report of September 12, updated September 15, 2026). They sit outside the /103 numbering and outside every official list, and their pull rate is unknown. Our full RGB Mew guide covers the background; the release-day asks below are the first dated market figures for these cards.

Card Lowest ask (Sept 16, 2026) Listings
Mew R/RGB (secret, unnumbered) ¥868,000 9
Mew G/RGB (secret, unnumbered) ¥580,000 7
Mew B/RGB (secret, unnumbered) ¥600,000 4

These three sit well above the numbered-card asks recorded in this update. As with every figure in this report, these are asking prices on a handful of listings, not confirmed sales, and PokeBeach expects the cards to remain officially unacknowledged for months.

Pre-Release Forecasts vs Release-Day Asks

Japanese market sites published pre-release forecasts for several of these cards before the official release. Here is what was forecast, dated, next to what SNKRDUNK actually listed at on release day:

Card Pre-release forecast (dated Sept 9, 2026) Release-day ask (Sept 16, 2026)
Mew ex FUR [135/103] ¥105,000–220,000 ¥22,222
Mewtwo ex FUR [134/103] ¥105,000–200,000 ¥17,999
Pikachu ex SAR, night [127/103] ¥70,000–95,000 ¥13,000
Pikachu ex SAR, day [126/103] ¥70,000–95,000 ¥11,000
Mew ex SAR [129/103] ¥49,000–70,000 ¥9,300
FUTURISTIC BOX (sealed) ¥105,000–150,000+ ¥49,500

Every card and product shown above with a pre-release forecast is sitting well under that forecast on release-day asks — these are two different dated figures, a forecast made before release and an actual listing price made on release day, and they don’t match. Card Set (Oct 16) promo forecasts — for cards that have not released yet — remain labelled as forecasts, since that product hasn’t come out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these market prices sale prices or asking prices?

Asking prices only — the lowest live seller listing on SNKRDUNK at the time each figure was fetched, September 16, 2026 unless another date is stated. None of these figures represent a completed sale.

How much did the M6a box’s asking price fall before release?

From ¥47,200 on September 1 to ¥28,200 on September 10 to ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026 — still about 2.4x the ¥7,200 MSRP.

Which secret rares got their first market listing on release day?

Five: Kommo-o AR (119), Ditto AR (121), Mewtwo ex SAR (128), Mew ex SAR (129) and Gengar ex SAR (131). None had a SNKRDUNK listing before September 16, 2026.

How do the pre-release forecasts compare with the release-day asks?

Every card and product shown above with a published pre-release forecast (dated September 9, 2026) is listing well under that forecast on release-day SNKRDUNK asks. We’re presenting the two dated figures side by side, not endorsing either one.

What are the RGB Mew cards worth?

On SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026: Mew R/RGB ¥868,000 (9 listings), Mew G/RGB ¥580,000 (7), Mew B/RGB ¥600,000 (4). These are asking prices on a small number of listings, and PokeBeach expects the cards to remain officially unacknowledged for months.
