Most Pokemon Center exclusives make you gamble on the promo. This one doesn’t — you know exactly which card is in the box before you open it.
The Eevee Heroes Eeveelutions Set is the Pokemon Center/Pokemon Store-exclusive companion release built around the Eevee Heroes (S6a) expansion. It packs two full boxes of Eevee Heroes boosters into one bundle, adds a set of Eevee-themed supplies, and locks in a single, fixed promo card rather than a random pull. That last detail is where most of the confusion around this product starts — there is a second, similarly named release from the same day that works completely differently, and mixing the two up is easy to do.
This guide covers exactly what the official product page confirms: what’s in the box, which promo you’re guaranteed to get, and how it differs from the lookalike release it keeps getting confused with. We currently hold this set sealed in our Tokyo stock, so the numbers below reflect what we’re actually pricing it at.
The Eevee Heroes Eeveelutions Set (2021, Pokemon Center exclusive) bundles two Eevee Heroes booster boxes with a guaranteed — not random — Espeon VMAX promo (189/S-P) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). Our sealed copy is currently listed at ¥400,000 (~$2,454), one-of-one stock — when it sells, it’s gone until we source another.
Prices are current listings from our Tokyo stock as of August 2026, converted at ¥163/USD (July 2026 basis). We’re pricing our own inventory here, not the wider secondary market.
What Is the Eevee Heroes Eeveelutions Set
The official product name is the Enhanced Expansion Pack Eevee Heroes Eevee’s Set (強化拡張パック イーブイヒーローズ イーブイズセット), sold exclusively through Pokemon Center, Pokemon Store, and Pokemon Card Gym locations rather than general retail. It released in Japan on May 28, 2021 — the same day as the standalone Eevee Heroes (S6a) expansion it’s built around — at an original suggested retail price of ¥11,330 (tax included).
At its core, it’s a bundling product: two full Eevee Heroes booster boxes (60 packs total) packaged with Eevee-themed accessories and one fixed promo card. It was never sold as a random-chase box — the appeal is getting a large, guaranteed quantity of Eevee Heroes packs plus a promo you know you’re getting before you buy.
That combination is why this category of release exists in the first place. Pokemon Center-exclusive bundles like this one are aimed at collectors who want the packs, the matching accessories, and a themed promo all in one purchase, rather than sourcing a box, sleeves, a deck case, and a promo separately from three or four different places. Because the channel was limited to Pokemon Center, Pokemon Store, and Pokemon Card Gym locations, distribution was far narrower than a mainline booster box’s general-retail run — and that channel restriction is the starting point for everything else this guide covers about scarcity and price.
The Guaranteed Pull: Espeon VMAX 189/S-P
Every copy of this set comes with the same card: Espeon VMAX, numbered 189/S-P. It isn’t a random pull from a pool of options — the official product listing specifies this single card as the included promo, full stop. If you buy this set, you know exactly what promo is coming with it.
A number of secondary-market retailers list this Espeon VMAX under an “SA” (Special Art) designation. We haven’t been able to confirm that classification against an official Pokemon Company source, so treat it as a common retailer convention rather than a confirmed rarity tier.
For buyers, the practical upside of a fixed promo is cost certainty. With a random-pull product, you’re paying for a chance at several possible outcomes and the price reflects that spread of odds. Here, the promo side of the equation is fixed — what changes copy to copy is only the condition of the box and packs themselves, not which card you’re getting.
Don’t Confuse It With the VMAX Special Set
Pokemon released a second, similarly themed product on the exact same day — May 28, 2021 — and the naming overlap causes real confusion. The VMAX Special Set Eevee Heroes (SP4) is a different product: eight Eevee Heroes packs plus one VMAX promo pack, where the promo pack contains one of four possible Eeveelution VMAX cards (Flareon VMAX, Vaporeon VMAX, Jolteon VMAX, or Espeon VMAX) selected at random, alongside matching energy cards.
The Eeveelutions Set covered in this guide is not that product. It has a different box count (two full boxes versus eight loose packs), a different promo mechanic (one guaranteed card versus a random draw from four), and a different price point. If a listing describes a random chance at multiple Eeveelution VMAX cards, it’s describing the VMAX Special Set — not the set priced and linked in this guide.
What’s Inside the Box
| Component | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Eevee Heroes (S6a) enhanced expansion booster boxes | 2 BOX (60 packs total) |
| Deck shields (Eevee-themed) | 64 sleeves × 1 set |
| Deck case (Eevee-themed) | 1 |
| Promo card | Espeon VMAX 189/S-P × 1 (fixed) |
| Outer card box | 1 |
The supplies are the other half of the appeal for collectors: the deck shields and case carry Eevee Heroes-era artwork that was never sold as a standalone accessory line, which is part of why sealed copies of this set hold value well beyond the retail price of the packs alone.
Chase Cards From the Two Eevee Heroes Boxes
Beyond the guaranteed Espeon VMAX promo, the two Eevee Heroes booster boxes inside this set are what actually contain the set’s headline chase cards — these are ordinary S6a pulls, not exclusive to this bundle, but they’re the reason collectors buy two full boxes at once rather than singles.
Vaporeon V and Jolteon V are the SR-SA Eeveelution chases from the S6a main set — the cards that give this era its name.
