Two hundred and fifty cards, one Pokemon printed at all four tiers, and a secret run that doesn’t slow down until card 250.
Mega Dream ex — MEGAドリームex, set code M2a — is a Japanese High Class Pack released November 28, 2025, and it runs a different spec from the standard MEGA-era expansion packs we’ve covered elsewhere: 10 cards per pack at ¥550, 10 packs per box, and a 193-card base set followed by a 57-card secret-rarity tier numbered 194 through 250. We currently list a sealed M2a booster box and a rotating set of PSA10 graded singles out of Tokyo, so every card below with an active listing is linked to it.
This is the complete secret list — every Art Rare, Secret Rare, Special Art Rare, and the set’s single MUR, transcribed number-for-number from Limitless TCG’s set data. For a deeper narrative walkthrough of the set, see our Mega Dream ex (M2a) complete guide.
Mega Dream ex has 250 total cards: a 193-card base set plus a 57-card secret run — 20 AR (194–213), 19 SR (214–232), 17 SAR (233–249), and 1 MUR (250). Ten different Mega ex lines reach the SR tier, and most of those also get a SAR. The flagship is Mega Dragonite ex, the only card printed at SR (232/193), SAR (246/193), and the set-topping MUR (250/193). Our PSA10 N’s Zoroark ex SAR (242/193) is currently sold out (last listed at ¥12,920, ~$88).
Prices and stock in this guide were re-checked on September 1, 2026. Sealed M2a boxes are currently listed at ¥12,750–13,230 on our site, while the lowest Japanese marketplace ask for a sealed M2a box on SNKRDUNK is ¥13,480 (~$92) as of the same date. Several graded singles referenced below have sold out since our August pass — sold-out cards keep their links for reference.

What Is Mega Dream ex (M2a)?
Mega Dream ex’s official product name is ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA ハイクラスパック「MEGAドリームex」, released Friday, November 28, 2025. Unlike a standard MEGA-era Expansion Pack — the format used by sets like Mega Symphonia (M1S) and Nihil Zero (M3), which run ¥180 per 5-card pack — M2a is a High Class Pack: 10 cards per pack at ¥550, and 10 packs per sealed box.
The checklist runs 250 cards total: a 193-card base set (numbered 001–193, per Limitless TCG’s numbering) followed immediately by a 57-card secret-rarity run numbered 194 through 250. That 57-card secret tier is by a wide margin the largest of the three sets in this MEGA-era card-list series — nearly double Mega Symphonia’s 29 secrets and well past Nihil Zero’s 37.
The set’s headliner is Mega Dragonite ex, the only line in M2a’s secret run that appears at three separate tiers — Secret Rare (232/193), Special Art Rare (246/193), and the set-topping MUR (250/193). Full profile in the chase-cards section below.
This article covers the 57-card secret run card by card, since that’s the tier Limitless TCG’s set data itemizes number-for-number with both JP and EN names. The 193-card base set is not broken out row by row here — the fuller numbered walkthrough of the base run lives in our Mega Dream ex (M2a) complete guide.
Secret-Tier Breakdown: AR, SR, SAR & MUR
Every secret card in Mega Dream ex, by tier:
| Rarity | Numbers | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Art Rare (AR) | 194–213 | 20 |
| Secret Rare (SR) | 214–232 | 19 |
| Special Art Rare (SAR) | 233–249 | 17 |
| Ultra Rare (MUR) | 250 | 1 |
| Total secrets | 194–250 | 57 |
Limitless TCG’s own database labels card 250 “Ultra Rare.” The gold, flagship-only, one-per-set treatment is widely called MUR (Mega Ultra Rare) in press and market usage for MEGA-era sets, and this article follows that convention. Some of our own product listings also use a shorthand “MA” label on individual Mega ex cards — where that applies below, it’s noted against the specific card, not assumed across a whole tier.
The three full tables below transcribe every one of the 57 secrets — number, JP name, EN name (Limitless’s translation), card type/stage, and rarity.
Art Rare Tier (194–213)
All 20 Art Rares are alternate-art reprints of Pokemon already in the base set — no Trainers or Energy at this tier.

Of the 20 ARs, Team Rocket’s Mimikyu (205/193) is the one we most consistently carry graded — our PSA10 copy (last listed at ¥5,731, ~$39) is currently sold out.
Reading the type/stage column across all 20 rows: three Grass prints (Beautifly, Dustox, and a Budew basic), two Fire-type lines (Ethan’s Magcargo, Numel), two Water basics (Psyduck, Snorunt), a single Lightning basic (Heliolisk), four Psychic-type prints (Misdreavus, Togekiss, Hop’s Trevenant, Team Rocket’s Mimikyu), two Fighting Stage 1s (Team Rocket’s Dugtrio, Medicham), two Darkness prints (Cynthia’s Spiritomb, Galarian Obstagoon), three Dragon-type entries (N’s Zekrom, Dreepy, Drakloak), and one Colorless basic (Fan Rotom). Metal is the only energy type with no Art Rare representation in this tier.
Secret Rare Tier (214–232)
The SR block opens with nine Items, Tools, Supporters, and a Stadium (214–222), then shifts into ten straight Mega ex Pokemon (223–232) — the largest Mega-ex roster of any of the three MEGA-era sets covered in this card-list series. The nine non-ex secrets, in order, are four Items (N’s PP Up, Glass Trumpet, Ultra Ball, Team Rocket’s Receiver), one Tool (Counter Gain), three Supporters (Canari, Black Belt’s Training, Anthea & Concordia), and one Stadium (Jamming Tower).

The remaining seven (Froslass, Eelektross, Diancie, Hawlucha, Gengar, Scrafty, and Dragonite) all step up to a Special Art Rare as well, covered in the next section. Our PSA10 Mega Gardevoir ex SR (226/193, sold on our site under an “MA” product label — same card, same number, Limitless’s SR row) is currently listed at ¥4,884 (~$33).
Special Art Rare Tier (233–249)
Seventeen SARs: six Mega ex lines carried over from the SR block, seven additional ex Pokemon whose SAR is their only secret printing in this set, three Supporters, and the flagship’s SAR.

Six ex Pokemon — Pikachu ex (234), Iono’s Bellibolt ex (236), Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex (237), N’s Zoroark ex (242), Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex (243), and Fezandipiti ex (244) — have no separate SR row; the SAR is their only secret printing in M2a. Steven’s Metagross ex (245) is the same case. Our PSA10 N’s Zoroark ex SAR is currently sold out (last listed at ¥12,920, ~$88), and our PSA10 Canari SAR (248/193) is currently listed at ¥13,816 (~$94) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
The Set-Topping MUR: Mega Dragonite ex
| No. | JP Name | EN Name | Type/Stage | Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 250/193 | メガカイリューex | Mega Dragonite ex | N Stage 2 | MUR |
Card 250 closes the checklist: Mega Dragonite ex, M2a’s only MUR and the top of a line that also runs through SR (232/193) and SAR (246/193) — the only card in the set to appear at three separate secret tiers. Every other Mega ex line in M2a — nine of them, from Mega Charizard X ex through Mega Scrafty ex — caps out at SR or SAR; none of them get an MUR print in this set.
Chase Cards & Where They Land

Mega Dragonite ex is the clearest through-line in the whole checklist: Secret Rare at 232/193, Special Art Rare at 246/193, and the set-topping MUR at 250/193. No other line in M2a is printed at three secret tiers. Across the SAR block as a whole, six cards are Mega ex carryovers from the SR tier (Froslass, Eelektross, Diancie, Hawlucha, Gengar, Scrafty), seven are ex Pokemon whose only secret printing is the SAR itself (Pikachu ex, Iono’s Bellibolt ex, Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex, N’s Zoroark ex, Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex, Fezandipiti ex, Steven’s Metagross ex), three are Supporter secrets (Iris’s Fighting Spirit, Canari, Surfer), and one — Mega Dragonite ex — is the flagship’s SAR on its way to the MUR. That’s all 17.
Outside the Dragonite ex line, the SAR tier’s other stand-out is N’s Zoroark ex (242/193) — its own SAR-only printing, no SR row underneath it — currently sold out as a PSA10 (last listed at ¥12,920, ~$88).
Steven’s Metagross ex (245/193) is another SAR-only ex, alongside the Trainer chase Canari, whose PSA10 SAR copy (248/193) is currently listed at ¥13,816 (~$94) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) — Canari also has a lower-tier SR printing at 219/193.
For unofficial, community-reported estimates on how often each tier actually turns up out of a sealed box, see our companion box-opening odds and best cards guide.
Box Economics
Officially, a Mega Dream ex box runs ¥5,500 (10 packs at ¥550 each). A sealed box is currently listed at ¥12,750–13,230 (~$87–$90) on our site across two active listings — every AR, SR, SAR, and the MUR above comes out of the same box.
M2a’s High Class Pack format — double the cards per pack of a standard MEGA-era Expansion Pack, at roughly three times the per-pack MSRP — is a different spend proposition than sets like Mega Symphonia or Nihil Zero. A M2a box works out to 100 cards total (10 packs × 10 cards) at ¥5,500 MSRP, versus a M1S or M3 Expansion Pack box’s 150 cards (30 packs × 5 cards) at ¥5,400 MSRP — fewer, larger packs at a comparable box price. If you’re weighing this set against its numbered predecessor, our M2 vs. M2a box guide puts both side by side.
