Mega Gallade ex SAR Get Battle and Every Pokemon Printing (to Oct 31)

Mega Gallade ex SAR Get Battle and Every Pokemon Printing (to Oct 31)

Mega Gallade ex has two Japanese cards, and both are promos.

The official Pokémon Card database (pokemon-card.com, as of September 29, 2026) lists exactly two Mega Gallade ex cards: 137/M-P, the SAR promo given out at the メガエルレイドex SAR Get Battle, and 068/M-P from the Special Card Set. The Get Battle is a Sealed event at Pokémon Card Gym stores, held from July 31 to October 31, 2026 to mark the release of Storm Emeralda (M6), and the official event page is pokemon-card.com/info/005507.html.

The older M Gallade EX prints from Emerald Break (XY6) are a different card type from a different era. We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo; prices below use ¥154/USD.

Key Takeaways

Mega Gallade ex 137/M-P (SAR, illustrated by AKIRA EGAWA) is awarded, not sold in packs: three wins out of three matches earns it, and a rock-paper-scissors draw among the other players earns one too. It is mailed in December 2026 or later, after My Number Card verification by November 30, 2026. The event’s 15 packs are Storm Emeralda, and our Sealed booster box is currently listed at ¥11,165 (~$72).

Updated September 29, 2026 — October Entry Window Closed
  • Entry for October events ran August 28 to September 7, 2026 and had closed by September 29; the event period itself still runs to October 31, 2026.
  • The official database shows two Mega Gallade ex cards: 137/M-P and 068/M-P. Neither belongs to a numbered expansion.
  • The Mega Gallade Special Card Set listing, which matches 068/M-P, is sold out at the time of this update — restock requests go through Quick Order.

The SAR Get Battle: Official Event Facts

Every row below comes from the official Pokémon Card event page. Nothing in it is a media report.

Item Detail Status
Event name ポケモンカードゲーム メガエルレイドexSARゲットバトル Official
Where and what Sealed (シールド戦) event at Pokémon Card Gym stores, marking the release of the Storm Emeralda (M6) expansion Official
Period July 31 (Fri) to October 31 (Sat), 2026 Official
Fee ¥3,000 (tax included), covering 15 Storm Emeralda packs opened at the event Official
Format 40-card deck with a 4-card sideboard Official
Participation gifts 1 promo ガイ, 1 promo ポケパッド, and a paper deck case Official
Main prize 1 promo Mega Gallade ex (SAR) for players who win all 3 of 3 matches Official
Second route A rock-paper-scissors winner among the other players also receives one Official
Repeat entry Allowed, but only one win counts per period Official

The Japanese wording is quoted where it is a proper name. The two promo cards handed to every participant are named as printed on the event page; this article does not describe their effects.

Entry Windows and How Entry Works

Entry is by advance lottery through Pokémon Card Players Club. There is no same-day entry. The event page splits the period into three groups of events, each with its own application window.

Events held in Entry window (2026) Status on September 29, 2026
July–August June 26 – July 6 Closed
September July 31 – August 14 Closed
October August 28 – September 7 Closed

All three windows had ended by the date above, so as of September 29, 2026 the event page offers no open entry. Because the lottery decides the seats, an application does not secure a place, and the page states no same-day route.

The ¥3,000 fee (tax included) covers 15 Storm Emeralda packs opened at the event to build the 40-card Sealed deck. The event is tied to Storm Emeralda because it marks that set’s release.

Who Receives the Promo: Three Wins or the Draw

The event page defines two ways to earn the Mega Gallade ex SAR. Players who win all three matches receive one. Among the remaining players, the page says a rock-paper-scissors game is played and the winner also receives one.

The event page gives no player counts for each event, so this article does not estimate the odds of either route. The only stated limit is per player: repeat entries are allowed, but one win counts per period.

For collectors outside Japan, the practical reading is that the SAR promo is a prize card, not a retail product. That is also why no pack, box or price on the event page corresponds to it.

The At-Home Sealed Campaign: 2,000 Winners

A second official route exists for players who do not attend a store event: the おうちでシールド戦「ストームエメラルダ」キャンペーン (official page pokemon-card.com/info/005506.html), running from July 31 to October 31, 2026.

Item At-home Sealed campaign
How to enter Play a Sealed game at home, then submit your deck code and your impressions through a form
Winners 2,000, chosen by lottery
Prize The Mega Gallade ex SAR promo
Mailing December 2026 or later, same as the store event
Identity step My Number Card verification in Players Club by November 30, 2026, 10:00

The 2,000-winner figure is the only quantity the official pages give for the SAR promo. It applies to the at-home campaign only; the store event has no stated quantity.

Delivery and the November 30 My Number Deadline

Both routes end the same way. The promo is mailed later, planned for December 2026 or after, to the address registered in Players Club. To receive it, the player must complete My Number Card identity verification in Players Club by November 30, 2026 at 10:00. The event page links a how-to page for the verification at pokemon-card.com/info/005557.html.

Two limits follow from the wording. The mailing date is described as a plan, not a promise, so it cannot be treated as a delivery date. And the pages describe mailing to the registered Players Club address; overseas delivery is not addressed there.

Deadline to Note

The verification cut-off is November 30, 2026 at 10:00 (Japan time), which falls before the December mailing window. A winner who has not verified by then is not covered by the delivery described on the page.

Every Mega Gallade ex Printing

The official database lists two Mega Gallade ex cards and two older M Gallade EX cards from Emerald Break. The table gives card number, rarity code and source product for each, as of September 29, 2026. The two names are different cards, so a “Gallade” search alone cannot tell them apart; card number and set code (M-P or XY6) are the reliable identifiers.

Ways to Get a Mega Gallade Card: A Checklist

Which route fits depends on the card wanted and where the buyer lives. Use this order:

  3. Want a graded vintage Mega Gallade? The Emerald Break RR and SR are offered as PSA 10 back orders (table above).
  4. Want to open the set behind the event? The Storm Emeralda booster box is the product the Get Battle packs come from.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you get the Mega Gallade ex SAR promo?

Win all three matches at the Mega Gallade ex SAR Get Battle, or win the rock-paper-scissors draw among the other players. A separate at-home Sealed campaign gives the same promo to 2,000 lottery winners. All routes need Pokemon Card Players Club entry in advance.

When is the Mega Gallade ex SAR Get Battle?

The event period runs from July 31 to October 31, 2026 at Pokemon Card Gym stores. Entry is by advance lottery in three windows; the October events’ window ran August 28 to September 7, 2026, and had closed by September 29. There is no same-day entry.

How much does the Get Battle cost?

The entry fee is 3,000 yen including tax. It covers 15 Storm Emeralda packs opened at the event, which build the 40-card deck with a 4-card sideboard. Participants also receive two promo cards and a paper deck case, per the official event page.

When will the Mega Gallade ex SAR promo be delivered?

The official page says it is mailed later, planned for December 2026 or after, to the address registered in Players Club. Winners must complete My Number Card identity verification in Players Club by November 30, 2026 at 10:00 Japan time to receive it.

How many Mega Gallade ex cards exist in Japan?

The official card database lists two: 137/M-P, the SAR promo illustrated by AKIRA EGAWA, and 068/M-P from the Special Card Set, illustrated by 5ban Graphics. Both are M-P promos. The older M Gallade EX cards from Emerald Break are a separate card type.

Is Mega Gallade ex in a Storm Emeralda booster pack?

No card by that name appears in a numbered expansion in the official database. The Storm Emeralda link is the event itself, which opens 15 Storm Emeralda packs, while the SAR promo is awarded separately. Packs from the box contain the set’s own cards, not the promo.

How much does a Japanese Storm Emeralda booster box cost?

Our Sealed M6 Storm Emeralda booster box is currently listed at ¥11,165 (~$72) at ¥154/USD. The No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update. The official Japanese price is ¥200 per pack, and the product page shows the store price.

Can you buy the Mega Gallade Special Card Set?

The Mega Gallade Special Card Set, which contains card 068/M-P, is sold out at the time of this update. Restock requests go through Quick Order. The 137/M-P SAR promo is different: it is awarded at the event or through the at-home campaign and is not sold as a product.
