Awakening of the New Era released in Japan on August 4, 2023, framed at the time as the game’s first-anniversary set, and reached English shelves four months later on December 8, 2023, as the identical set under the same name and code. Between the two languages it carries 127 card types across Leader, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Secret Rare, and Special Card slots — and a small handful of those slots are the reason collectors keep opening this box three years on.

Monkey D. Luffy (Gear 5 / Nika) — OP05-119
OP05-119 is the set’s headline pull — a Gear 5 / Nika form Luffy print in the card game, and the top of the OP-05 rarity tier. It exists in two printings we track:
The SEC-SP Comic Parallel is the manga-art treatment of OP05-119 and the version most collectors mean when they talk about “the OP-05 Luffy.” The SEC-P standard Secret Rare is the same card number in the regular full-art treatment — a different printing, at a very different price point, so it’s worth checking which one a listing describes before buying.
Trafalgar Law — OP05-069
Trafalgar Law’s SR-SP Manga Rare is the set’s second-tier chase, sitting one rarity level below the Secret Rare Luffy prints. A PSA10 example is currently listed at ¥214,052 (~$1,346).

Regular Box vs Damaged Box on Our Site
We list two ways to buy OP-05 sealed product when both are available: a regular sealed box and a Damaged Box. A Damaged Box is the same factory-sealed product inside — the packs themselves are untouched — but the outer box or shrink has cosmetic damage (a dent, a torn corner, a crushed edge), so it’s priced below a box in pristine outer condition.
