What “Damaged” and “Grade B” Mean
Our Damaged Box listings describe cosmetic condition of the outer box only. Our Damaged Box pages (the SV1A page reads) cover “minor cosmetic damage to the outer box, such as small dents or scuffs,” with the shrink wrap present. Our Grade B pages (the SV2A page reads) state: “Grade B: More noticeable cosmetic damage to the outer box, such as dents, creases, or scuffs. Original shrink wrap is present and may also show wear or damage.” Photos on both listings are described as representative samples, and the actual box may differ from what’s pictured.
Our own review of Damaged Box pricing across sets found the label doesn’t guarantee a discount: across six regular-vs-Damaged Box pairs checked live, only one was priced identically and five showed the Damaged Box costing more, not less. At the time of this update, White Flare’s regular Damaged Box is listed at ¥19,200 (~$125), below Sealed at ¥20,400 (~$132), and Grade B is lower again at ¥18,800 (~$122).
White Flare: Regular Box vs DX Box
The official product page confirms a ¥290 (tax included) MSRP per 7-card pack for the regular box, released June 6, 2025 alongside companion set Black Bolt — together the two sets cover all 156 Pokemon of the Unova regional dex. A separate DX box, 「拡張パックデラックス「ホワイトフレア」」, carries a ¥1,450 (tax included) MSRP for a 35-card pack, released the same day.
Per-box pack counts are not stated on the official page for either version. Retailer and media reporting puts the regular box at 20 packs of 7 cards (140 cards total, no Art Rare guaranteed per pack), and the DX box at 4 packs of 35 cards (also 140 cards total), with each DX pack reported to guarantee at least one Art Rare. Both versions land on the same total card count through very different packaging.
The set totals 174 cards, confirmed against the official database: a 1–86 base checklist, then a secret-rarity run from 87 to 174 — 88 cards across four tiers: 72 Art Rares (87–158), 8 Super Rares (159–166), 7 Special Art Rares (167–173), and a single card at 174 described as BWR (Black White Rare), the set’s debut monochrome format.

Regular Sealed is currently listed at ¥20,400 (~$132), regular Damaged Box at ¥19,200 (~$125) and regular Grade B at ¥18,800 (~$122), a ¥400 saving over the Damaged Box. The DX Sealed box is a separate listing at ¥20,685 (~$134), and DX No Shrink is currently listed at ¥19,760 (~$128). DX Damaged Box and DX Damaged Box (Grade B) are sold out at the time of writing, so there is no current DX damaged-tier price comparison.
The lowest asking price on SNKRDUNK on September 18, 2026 was ¥20,500 for the regular box and ¥20,799 for the DX variant. No earlier dated SNKRDUNK figure is available for either box.
The Chase Cards
Reshiram ex headlines the secret-rarity run, appearing three times, confirmed against the official database: SR 160/086, SAR 168/086 (illustrated by kawayoo), and the set-topping 174/086, described as BWR (Black White Rare) and listed as Ultra Rare on third-party trackers. Hilda (トウコ) appears at SR 166/086 and SAR 173/086 (illustrated by Naoki), and Keldeo ex appears at SR 161/086 and SAR 169/086.
Both are currently listed in PSA 10: the Reshiram ex SAR 168/086 at ¥28,038 (~$182) and Hilda SR 166/086 at ¥12,480 (~$81). The official database credits the Reshiram ex SAR to illustrator kawayoo, and the Hilda SAR at 173/086 to illustrator Naoki.
