Zacian V 161/103 reprints the Sword & Shield Zacian V (#138/202, Ultra Rare, illustrated by 5ban Graphics) — Intrepid Sword and Brave Blade are unchanged. What Is the Zacian V 161/103 Reprint?
Pokemon published the official card list for M6a 30th CELEBRATION on 9 September 2026, and it covers the main set (001–103), the Classic Collection (136–165) and the eight Basic Energy in full. Zacian V sits inside that confirmed Classic Collection block, at card number 161/103, JP name ザシアンV, illustrator 5ban Graphics — both the card number and the illustrator credit are in the official pokemon-card.com database.

Like the other 29 cards in the 136–165 run, Zacian V carries no regulation mark and is not usable in the current Standard regulation per the official page — it’s a display and collecting card, playable only in whichever legacy format the original is legal in. Compiled checklists (thornberrymedia, derived from the official Japanese 30th site animation) list Zacian V among the 30 Classic Collection cards.
The Original Print: Sword & Shield Zacian V #138/202
The card being reprinted is Zacian V, Sword & Shield (English base set), #138/202, released 7 February 2020 — an Ultra Rare illustrated by 5ban Graphics. Bulbapedia’s infobox (as of September 11, 2026) places the Japanese original in the “Sword” expansion without giving a Japanese card number for that entry. Full Art (195/202) and Secret Rare (211/202) versions of the same V card also exist from the same print run, but the card reprinted at 161/103 is this regular Ultra Rare.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Original set / number (EN) | Sword & Shield, #138/202 |
| Original set (JP) | “Sword” expansion |
| Rarity | Ultra Rare |
| Illustrator | 5ban Graphics |
| Type / HP / Stage | Metal / 220 / Basic Pokemon V |
| Ability — Intrepid Sword | Once during your turn, you may look at the top 3 cards of your deck and attach any number of Metal Energy cards you find there to this Pokemon; put the rest into your hand. If you use this Ability, your turn ends |
| Attack — Brave Blade (3 Metal) | 230 damage. During your next turn, this Pokemon can’t attack |
| Weakness / Resistance / Retreat | Fire ×2 / Grass −30 / 2 Colorless |
Intrepid Sword is a free, repeatable way to self-accelerate Metal Energy every turn, ending the turn as the cost, meant to let Brave Blade’s 230 damage come earlier than a normal three-energy attachment would allow. Bulbapedia notes the card has been reprinted several times as SWSH Black Star Promos (SWSH018, SWSH076, and SWSH292 — the last a Shiny variant), and that a separate Astral Radiance print depicts Zacian and Hop together at the Slumbering Weald altar — a different illustration by a different artist (“aoki”), not the 5ban Graphics artwork reprinted here.

Why Zacian V Made the Classic Collection Cut
The block as a whole spans Base Set through the Scarlet & Violet era, and Zacian V is one of the entries representing the V era specifically, sitting a few slots ahead of two more Sword & Shield-era reprints in the same run — Raikou (162/103) and Mew VMAX (163/103).
If you’re working through the wider Classic Collection block, our companion guides cover four more 30th CELEBRATION reprints released alongside this one: Buzzwole GX 159/103, Raikou 162/103, Mew VMAX 163/103 and Arceus VSTAR 164/103. For the Sword & Shield-era Zacian & Zamazenta tag team and Hop’s Zacian ex, our existing Zacian & Zamazenta cards guide and Hop’s Zacian ex SAR guide cover those separately — different cards from the one reprinted here. Our 30th anniversary reprints list rounds up the Classic Collection.
