Eevee Heroes (S6a) was Japan’s dedicated Eeveelution set, released May 28, 2021, and the special-art Sylveon VMAX at card number 093/069 is the print most collectors mean when they search “Sylveon VMAX.” It carries an HR (Hyper Rare) rarity marker, and the set also contains a non-SA version of the same card at 092/069 for buyers who want the artwork without the special-art treatment — that copy trades in a much lower band, with SNKRDUNK PSA 10 asks around ¥32,000 against a raw ask of roughly ¥6,000–¥15,000.
The 093/069 SA is a different story. A raw copy currently asks around ¥180,000 on SNKRDUNK, and PSA 10 graded copies are asking ¥289,000, ¥400,000, and ¥558,555 across three separate listings. Because a PSA 10 is a graded, one-of-one holder rather than a stack of identical stock, that comparison is a snapshot of the market on the day it was measured — it moves the moment any of those listings sells.
The commonly cited English-language equivalent for this era of Sylveon VMAX is the Sylveon VMAX Alternate Art Secret Rare, SWSH07 Evolving Skies, 212/203 — an English-only 2021 chase card that collectors frequently mention in the same breath as the Japanese 093/069. It’s worth being precise here: the two cards share a Pokemon, a VMAX mechanic, and a release year, but they use different illustrations and were never printed as a direct 1:1 reprint of each other. They’re parallel chase cards from the same period, not the same card in two languages.
Check the card number in the bottom-right corner. 093/069 with the special-art treatment is the HR chase card; 092/069 is the standard non-SA HR and trades in a completely different price bracket.
Because the special-art print uses a full-bleed illustration that extends past the usual card frame, edge and corner wear shows up more easily on raw copies than it does on standard-frame Pokemon cards. That’s part of why the gap between a raw copy (around ¥180,000) and a PSA 10 (¥264,875 to ¥558,555) is as wide as it is — grading removes the guesswork on centering and surface condition for a card where those details are hard to judge from photos alone.
Sylveon ex SAR — Terastal Festival ex
Sylveon’s most recent Scarlet & Violet-era chase print comes from Terastal Festival ex (SV8a), a Japan-only high-class pack released December 6, 2024. A confirmed direct English-set equivalent for this specific card hasn’t turned up in our research, so treat it as a Japan-exclusive print for now rather than assuming an English parallel exists.

The Yu Nagaba Sylveon Promo (070/SV-P)
The 070/SV-P promo is a different kind of Sylveon card entirely — not a rarity chase within a set, but a collaboration promo illustrated by Japanese artist Yu Nagaba (長場雄). It’s the second Yu Nagaba x Pokemon collaboration (the first ran in July 2021), themed around Eevee and its evolutions, and distribution began May 24, 2023.
Sylveon’s card was one of nine Eeveelution promos in the drop — Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon — each given randomly with in-store purchases of ¥1,000 or more (tax included) at Pokemon Center, Pokemon Store, and Pokemon Center Online in Japan. Gardevoir & Sylveon GX (031/055)
Before Sylveon had its own VMAX or ex slot, it shared the spotlight with Gardevoir on a Tag Team GX card. Gardevoir & Sylveon GX, card number 031/055, comes from Night Unison (SM9a), a Sun & Moon-era Japan-only enhanced expansion released January 11, 2019. It’s a RR (Double Rare) Tag Team Basic Pokemon at 260 HP, illustrated by Mitsuhiro Arita — one of the most recognized illustrators in the Pokemon TCG’s history.
The same set contains two further variants of this exact card: an SR at 060/055 and a special-art SR at 061/055, both scarcer than the RR base version covered here. Night Unison also produced Greninja & Zoroark GX, a Tag Team pairing from the same release.

Two Older Prints: GX SSR and V SA

The Sylveon GX SSR at 238/150 comes from GX Ultra Shiny (SM8b), a Sun & Moon-era high-class pack and one of the earliest sets to put Sylveon on a Secret Super Rare slot in its own right, ahead of the Tag Team era.
The Sylveon V SA at 083/069 comes from the same Eevee Heroes set as the VMAX SA above — it’s the special-art version of Sylveon’s V card, distinct from the non-SA SR at 082/069 in the same set. If you’re sorting an Eevee Heroes collection, 083/069 and 093/069 are the two special-art Sylveon slots to look for; everything else in that set is a standard-rarity print.
Neither of these two prints uses an official “Shiny” rarity designation, and that’s true across all six cards on this list — Japanese Pokemon TCG reserves the “Shiny” name for a specific inverted-color treatment used in other sets and eras, and none of the verified Sylveon prints in this guide carry that label.
