Trafalgar Law has two different Leader cards with the exact same stat line — Green/Yellow, 5000 Power, 4 Life — printed three sets apart. He also gets confused with a Leader he never was: plenty of players still assume ST-03 runs Law at the helm, when the deck’s actual Leader is Crocodile.
This guide sorts out which Trafalgar Law card is which, from his earliest starter-deck printing through the two new OP-16 cards, and flags what is and isn’t confirmed for the upcoming OP-17 set. We source Japanese One Piece Card Game product directly out of Tokyo, so every card discussed here ties back to a set we can point to and, where pricing exists, a Japanese secondary-market data point rather than a guess.
Law shows up across a wider spread of product than most supporting characters — two starter decks, four mainline booster sets, and one movie promo — which is part of why the confusion between his printings persists. Sort by set and the picture is straightforward: two Leader cards with identical stats, a run of Character cards at different rarities, and one comic-panel parallel that stands well above the rest on the secondary market.
Trafalgar Law has eight confirmed printings across starter decks, booster sets, and a promo card, including two Leader cards (ST10-001 and OP10-022) and a Manga Parallel version of OP05-069 currently showing asks around ¥118,000. The two newest Law cards, OP16-030 and OP16-068, both come out of the OP-16 The Time of Battle booster box, currently listed at ¥12,540.
Card data is drawn from the official OP card list and the LimitlessTCG card database. Secondary-market prices are asks and completed listings observed on the Japanese card marketplace snkrdunk as of August 2026, converted at ¥163/USD, and reflect listing activity rather than confirmed retail stock.
Every Trafalgar Law Card at a Glance
Eight Trafalgar Law printings are confirmed across the official card list, spanning Common characters, Super Rares, two Leader cards, and one promo:
| Code | Card | Rarity | Set | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ST03-008 | Trafalgar Law | Common | ST03 The Seven Warlords of the Sea | Character (Blocker) |
| ST10-001 | Trafalgar Law | Leader | ST10 Ultra Deck: The Three Captains | Leader |
| OP01-047 | Trafalgar Law | SR | OP01 Romance Dawn | Character |
| OP05-069 | Trafalgar Law | SR | OP05 Awakening of the New Era | Character (+ Manga Parallel) |
| OP10-022 | Trafalgar Law | Leader | OP10 Royal Blood | Leader |
| P-017 | Trafalgar Law | Promo | FILM RED Promotion Card Set | Character |
| OP16-030 | Trafalgar Law | Rare | OP16 The Time of Battle | Character (Green, 8 cost, 9000 power) |
| OP16-068 | Trafalgar Law | Common | OP16 The Time of Battle | Character (Purple, 4 cost, 3000 power) |
One correction before going further: ST-03 is a Warlords-themed starter deck that includes Law as a Common Blocker, but its Leader slot belongs to Crocodile (ST03-001), not Law. Law’s actual Leader cards live in two later products — ST10 and OP10 — covered below. If you picked up ST-03 expecting a Law-led deck, that’s the mix-up to be aware of.
The sections that follow go through each printing in more detail, starting with the one that carries the most secondary-market activity.
The Comic Parallel: OP05-069 Manga Parallel
OP05 Awakening of the New Era’s Super Rare Trafalgar Law (OP05-069) exists in two forms: a standard Alternate Art printing, and a Manga Parallel version that swaps the illustrated background for panel art pulled from the manga. The Manga Parallel is the only Law card in this guide with multiple confirmed market data points.
| Listing type | Price (JPY) | Approx. USD |
|---|---|---|
| Current ask | ¥118,000 | ~$724 |
| Recent sale (used, grade A) | ¥185,000 | ~$1,135 |
| PSA 9 | ¥125,000 | ~$767 |
Those three data points don’t move in a straight line — the used grade-A sale sits above both the current ask and the PSA 9 listing — which is typical for a low-volume Japanese secondary market where a handful of transactions set the tone. The takeaway isn’t a single “worth $X” number so much as a range: mid-hundreds to just over a thousand dollars, depending on condition and timing.
Secondary-market listings also show a card coded OP10-119, described as a Secret Rare SP comic parallel Trafalgar Law, with asks around ¥58,000 and a PSA 10 example near ¥300,000. This code doesn’t appear in our official card list review, so treat its set attribution as unconfirmed — it’s listed on the Japanese secondary market, but we can’t verify which product it actually shipped in.

Law’s Two Leader Cards: ST10-001 and OP10-022
Both of Law’s official Leader cards share the same stat line: Green/Yellow colors, 5000 Power, 4 Life. ST10-001 comes from Ultra Deck: The Three Captains, a starter deck built specifically around Law as one of “the three captains” alongside the deck’s other Leader options. OP10-022 is the later printing, arriving in the OP10 Royal Blood booster set as a pulled Leader rather than a guaranteed starter-deck card.
Because the two share identical Power and Life numbers, the practical difference between them comes down to how you acquire each one: ST10-001 is the deck-built route with a fixed decklist around it, while OP10-022 is a booster pull that a player would build a Law deck around from scratch. Neither is a reprint of the other — they’re distinct cards with distinct artwork, released three sets apart.
If you’re chasing a Law Leader for deckbuilding rather than collecting, either card functions identically on the stat line, so the choice usually comes down to which printing’s artwork you prefer and which one you can actually track down.
It’s also worth noting that a matching stat line across two separate releases isn’t unusual for this game — Leader cards for popular characters are frequently reprinted with new artwork rather than adjusted numbers, since the underlying deck archetype is what changes between sets, not the Leader’s base Power and Life. For Law, that means ST10-001 and OP10-022 share the same color identity and stats even though they were released three sets apart.
Early Prints: ST03-008 and OP01-047
ST03-008 is Law’s first appearance in a starter deck, a Common Blocker card from ST03 The Seven Warlords of the Sea. As noted above, this is the deck where Law is frequently mistaken for the Leader — he’s a supporting Character card here, while Crocodile leads.
OP01-047 is the Super Rare Law from OP01 Romance Dawn, the game’s original booster set. An Alternate Art parallel version of this card has been documented on English-language secondary markets like TCGplayer, though the parallel’s own Japanese pricing wasn’t part of the data we reviewed for this guide. As one of the earliest Super Rare prints of the character, it’s a common entry point for collectors building out a Law binder from the ground up.
The FILM RED Promo: P-017

P-017 is Law’s entry in the FILM RED Promotion Card Set, the promo lineup tied to the One Piece Film Red movie release. Promo cards like this one are distributed outside the standard booster/starter cycle, which typically means smaller print runs than a mainline set card, though we don’t have secondary-market pricing data for this specific code to quantify that difference.

New for OP-16: OP16-030 and OP16-068
OP16 The Time of Battle, the most recently released mainline set, added two new Trafalgar Law cards. OP16-030 is a Rare, Green-colored, 8-cost, 9000-power Character. OP16-068 is a Common, Purple-colored, 4-cost, 3000-power Character — a cheaper, more accessible card built for lower-curve plays rather than a chase pull. Together they give current Law decks two fresh options across different cost brackets, both sourced from the same booster box.
For buyers working with a tighter budget, a Damaged Box option for OP-16 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) is currently listed at ¥11,540 — same sealed product inside, discounted box packaging.
OP16-030 and OP16-068 sit at opposite ends of the cost curve — an 8-cost top-end Character versus a 4-cost Common — and both appear in the OP-16 set alongside the rest of its cast.
Is Trafalgar Law in OP-17? What We Know
OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors is officially scheduled for release on August 22, 2026. As of our most recent review of the card database, we could not confirm a new Trafalgar Law card in the OP-17 set — the set’s card list was still in a pre-release spoiler period at the time, so this is an open question rather than a confirmed “no.” If a new Law card surfaces in the remaining unrevealed cards, we’ll update this guide.
What is confirmed is the release date itself, and that OP-17 booster boxes are available to pre-order ahead of it. Whether or not Law specifically appears, the set continues the same character lineup as OP-16 and is worth tracking for anyone building a Law-adjacent collection. Our OP-17 release date and card list guide tracks the full spoiler list as it’s revealed.
Pre-orders for OP-17 close as the release date approaches, with orders shipping on or after August 24, 2026. If a Law card is confirmed in the remaining spoilers before release, it will be part of whatever box you pre-order — there’s no separate allocation by character.

For Law specifically, the most direct route to new cards is sealed product — OP16-030 and OP16-068 both come out of the OP-16 box, and any as-yet-unconfirmed OP-17 Law card would come out of an OP-17 box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Trafalgar Law card is the comic parallel?
The Manga Parallel version of OP05-069, from OP05 Awakening of the New Era. It swaps the card’s background art for a manga-panel design and is currently showing asks around ¥118,000, with a recent grade-A sale at ¥185,000 and a PSA 9 example at ¥125,000.
Does ST-03 have Trafalgar Law as its Leader?
No. ST-03 The Seven Warlords of the Sea includes Law as a Common Blocker Character card (ST03-008), but the deck’s actual Leader is Crocodile (ST03-001).
What are Trafalgar Law’s two Leader cards?
ST10-001, from Ultra Deck: The Three Captains, and OP10-022, from OP10 Royal Blood. Both share the same stat line — Green/Yellow, 5000 Power, 4 Life — but are distinct printings from different products.
Is Trafalgar Law in the OP-17 set?
Unconfirmed as of our most recent review. OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors releases August 22, 2026, and its card list was still in a pre-release spoiler period at the time this guide was written, so a new Law card has not been ruled in or out.
