Set 8 of the official nine-set run pairs three starters — Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble — as foil full-art promos, and it is only the eighth stop in a series that runs all the way from Kanto to Paldea.
Each 30th CELEBRATION Card Set contains three foil, full-art promo cards for one starter trio, two randomised packs of the 30th CELEBRATION expansion (six cards per pack), and one paper card stand that holds three cards. Set 8 carries Grookey 122/M-P, Scorbunny 123/M-P and Sobble 124/M-P.
We do not sell Set 8 by itself. We list it only inside the 30th CELEBRATION Card Set All 9 Types bundle, which is sold out at the time of this update; restock requests go through Quick Order. When available it is sold as a separate order from anything else in your cart.

The Three Promo Cards: Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble
The official page describes these as full-art, foil promo cards of the first partner Pokemon of the adventures in nine regions. Region names are our own editorial mapping for readability — the official page itself does not label the sets by region. On that mapping, Set 8 corresponds to the Galar starter trio.
Grookey — 122/M-P

Grookey’s card is numbered 122/M-P and is issued as a foil, full-art promo — one of the three fixed promos in this set.
Scorbunny — 123/M-P

Scorbunny’s card is numbered 123/M-P and is issued as a foil, full-art promo alongside Grookey and Sobble.
Sobble — 124/M-P

Sobble’s card completes the trio at 124/M-P, also foil and full-art. All three cards ship fixed in every Set 8 — only the two booster packs are randomised.
Where Set 8 Sits in the Nine-Set Series
The official 30th CELEBRATION page orders the nine sets 1 through 9 and does not itself name the regions; the trio and promo numbers below are what the official page and Japanese media confirm.

| 1 | Bulbasaur / Charmander / Squirtle | 101/M-P, 102/M-P, 103/M-P |
| 2 | Chikorita / Cyndaquil / Totodile | 104/M-P, 105/M-P, 106/M-P |
| 3 | Treecko / Torchic / Mudkip | 107/M-P, 108/M-P, 109/M-P |
| 4 | Turtwig / Chimchar / Piplup | 110/M-P, 111/M-P, 112/M-P |

What the Two 30th CELEBRATION Packs Add
Each Set 8 includes two packs of the 30th CELEBRATION expansion, six cards per pack. Every card in the expansion is holo, and each pack carries one guaranteed Basic Energy card in a special design by graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN.
The expansion’s headline cards are the FUR Mew ex 135/103 and Mewtwo ex 134/103, illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN. The official 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) card list was published on September 9, 2026, and the two packs inside each Card Set draw from that same set (165 numbered cards + 8 energy, 173 in all; PokeBeach’s headline figure is 176). For the card list, see our 30th CELEBRATION card list and FUR chase cards article.
If you want more of the expansion beyond the two packs in Set 8, we separately list the M6a 30th CELEBRATION Booster Box, released September 16, 2026 — currently listed as a pre-order at Sealed ¥25,000 (~$162); the No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update. Orders ship from Tokyo after release; see the product page for the current dispatch date.
