One Piece TCG news for September 2026 comes down to one new ban, two Flagship Battle prize lists and the first official release dates for OP-18. The official ban notice is dated September 24, 2026 on onepiece-cardgame.com, and it adds OP14-020 Mihawk to the banned list from October 12, 2026.
Bandai’s Japanese site also posted the September and October Flagship Battle pages, the Championship 26-27 Season 2 schedule and the OP-18 announcement dated September 25, 2026. The standing page on the rules is our One Piece TCG banned list explainer.

The ban notice is the only item that changes which cards can go into a deck. Everything else in the table is a prize list, a schedule or a product date.
OP14-020 Mihawk: Banned From October 12
The official news item is dated September 24, 2026 and sits at onepiece-cardgame.com/news/restriction-261012.html. Its single addition is OP14-020 ジュラキール・ミホーク (Mihawk), banned from 2026-10-12. The rules page states that parallel versions are included, so every printing of the card is covered.
The five bans and three pair bans that were already on the page are unchanged by the notice.
A ban is a tournament-rules item and does not change the printed card. If you plan to enter an event, check the official rules page for the list that applies on the event date.

Two of the Leaders named in the list are offered as PSA 10 back orders: OP03-040 Nami at ¥23,827 (~$155), which is banned on its own, and OP11-040 Monkey.D.Luffy at ¥10,200 (~$66), which is not banned individually but appears in the banned pairs above — sourced to order; each product page shows the current terms, and the way PSA 10 back orders work is explained separately.
How the list is revised
The rules page states that revisions are normally announced at the end of Japan Championship Season 1 and at the World Finals. It also carries application-history entries dated 2026/5/1, 2026/4/1 and 2025/8/30. The comprehensive rules PDF on the site is dated 20260828, and a separate notice of July 10, 2026 covers IP regulations.
Flagship Battle: September and October Prizes
Flagship Battle is the monthly official-store event. The two official pages for the September and October rounds print different prize cards, so the prize table is where the month matters.

OP-18 is themed on Water Seven and the Holy Knights of God, and the official copy says Saint Gunko and Saint Shamrock make their card-game debut. The English page adds that cards are tournament legal 7 days after the release date in your region. Neither page states a box price or packs per box.
EB-05: what the official pages say
EB-05 ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 was announced on June 19, 2026 for October. The official release-event pages set the shop events from October 31 to November 15, 2026, with entry from September 25 to October 4 and winners announced October 9. The official pages state October 2026 and no release day; Famitsu’s October 31 is a media-reported retailer date.
The official event page prints “1BOX: 5,760円 incl. tax” for venue sales.

Reported Cards vs the Official Card List
As of September 29, 2026 the official Japanese and English card lists show no OP-18 or EB-05 cards. Every card number in the table comes from an outlet except EB05-016, which the official EB-05 release-event page lists among allowed Leaders. The Status column names the outlet and its date.

OP-17 THE WORLD’S STRONGEST WARRIORS is the newest released booster and the source of the official deck features. Its official Japanese page, released August 22, 2026, prints the structure in the table.

What the Official Site Does Not Publish
The official site posts no winning-leader lists for Flagship Battle, store qualifiers or Treasure Cup. The event pages point players to the BANDAI TCG+ app for result registration, and no public official ranking exists as of September 29, 2026. Any “meta” ranking for October therefore comes from third-party sites, which we do not quote.
The only official deck recommendations are the OP-17 deck features dated August 21, 2026. They name one leader per colour: Edward Newgate (red), Shanks (green), Rocks D. Xebec (blue), Kaido (purple), Monkey D. Luffy (black) and Charlotte Linlin (yellow). These are recommendations, not results.
