The Pokemon Chaos Rising Booster Bundle is a box of six booster packs from Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising, and the official pokemon.com product page lists nothing else in it; the page gives the launch as May 22, 2026.
The Japanese product behind those packs is the Ninja Spinner (M4) expansion. Bulbapedia states that Chaos Rising “includes cards released in the Japanese Ninja Spinner expansion,” and the official Japanese page gives Ninja Spinner a release of March 13, 2026 at ¥180 per 5-card pack. The Japanese box and the English bundle therefore share a card pool in part, but they are different products with different contents.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. Our prices are those listed on October 2, 2026, with USD at ¥154/USD, approximate.
The official page lists six Chaos Rising booster packs in the bundle, with no promo card, no code card and no price. The Japanese counterpart is the Ninja Spinner (M4) expansion; the four Japanese Mega Greninja ex prints carry the same illustrator credits as the four English Chaos Rising prints, and our Japanese M4 box is listed as the Damaged Box at ¥7,796 (~$51).
The launch date and the pack list come from the official pokemon.com product page; set pairing and promo details are attributed to Bulbapedia and Limitless TCG.
What Is Inside the Chaos Rising Booster Bundle
The official page is titled Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising Booster Bundle and gives the launch as May 22, 2026. Its description reads: “Expand your collection with this Booster Bundle containing six booster packs from Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising.” The page adds that the bundle is carried by the Pokemon Center and wherever Pokemon TCG products are sold.

The official overview of the Chaos Rising expansion names the Pokemon at the center of the set: “Mega Greninja ex gathers other powerful Mega Evolution Pokemon ex, including Mega Pyroar ex and Mega Dragalge ex, to ward off this growing threat,” with Mega Floette ex as the source of the turmoil. The expansion page lists over 120 cards, more than 20 Trainer cards and more than 35 Pokemon and Trainer cards with special illustrations, and marks the set as Standard legal.
Bulbapedia’s merchandise page, as of October 1, 2026, describes the bundle in the same terms: it released together with the Chaos Rising expansion on May 22, 2026, and each box included six Chaos Rising booster packs. Bulbapedia lists no promotional cards for it. The Elite Trainer Box is a separate official product; Bulbapedia describes it as holding nine Chaos Rising packs and a Fennekin promo, and our Chaos Rising ETB and Ninja Spinner comparison covers that product.
What the Japanese Ninja Spinner (M4) Box Is
Ninja Spinner is a MEGA expansion pack in the Japanese Pokemon Card Game. The official page at pokemon-card.com/ex/m4 prints a retail price of ¥180 (tax included) per pack, 5 cards per pack, random card insertion and a release date of March 13, 2026. A Japanese booster box is a sealed box of those packs. The official page does not print how many packs a box holds.
The official Japanese card database lists 120 Ninja Spinner cards with a printed set size of 083. Cards numbered up to 083 are the main set; the 37 numbered beyond it are the special prints.
| Official database group | Numbers | Cards | Rarity breakdown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main set | 001–083 | 83 | C 38 · U 29 · R 8 · RR 8 |
| Beyond the printed set size | 084–120 | 37 | AR 12 · SR 18 · SAR 6 · MUR 1 |
The official page highlights the headline card in its own words: the Ability ひっさつしゅりけん lets the player discard a Basic Water Energy from hand to put six damage counters on one of the opponent’s Pokemon, and the page calls it a Mega Evolution ex that deals damage with both an Ability and an attack. That card is Mega Greninja ex. The full list sits on our Ninja Spinner card list, and the M4 Ninja Spinner complete guide and booster box buying guide go through the set in more depth.
Bundle and Box Side by Side
The two products come from different markets and are built differently.
| Spec | Chaos Rising Booster Bundle (English) | Ninja Spinner (M4) booster box (Japanese) |
|---|---|---|
| Release | May 22, 2026 (pokemon.com) | March 13, 2026 (pokemon-card.com/ex/m4) |
| Contents | Six booster packs | A sealed box of M4 packs |
| Packs in the product | Six | Not printed on the official page |
| Cards per pack | Not printed on the bundle page | 5 cards |
| Pack price | No price printed | ¥180 per pack, tax included |
| Promo card | None listed | None listed |
| Card pool | Chaos Rising, over 120 cards per the official expansion page | Ninja Spinner, 120 cards per the official database |
| Language | English | Japanese |
The Japanese pack price is the only price either official source prints, and it is a per-pack price. No bundle price is printed either, so the comparison that can be made is on contents, language and the cards inside. On the English side that means a six-pack bundle launched on May 22, 2026; on the Japanese side it means a 5-card pack at ¥180 with tax, released on March 13, 2026, per the official pages.
Print and packaging differences between the two markets are set out in our Japanese versus English Pokemon cards comparison.
How Chaos Rising Maps to Ninja Spinner
No official source states that an English set equals a Japanese set. The pairing is Bulbapedia’s: its Chaos Rising page, as of October 2, 2026, says “Chaos Rising includes cards released in the Japanese Ninja Spinner expansion” and “Chaos Rising released worldwide on May 22, 2026.” The English page and the Japanese page agree on the Pokemon around which the set is built, Mega Greninja ex, which the English overview names and the Japanese page describes.
| Fact | Chaos Rising (English) | Ninja Spinner (Japanese) | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Release date | May 22, 2026 | March 13, 2026 | pokemon.com; pokemon-card.com |
| Card count | Over 120 (official page); 122 (Limitless TCG; Bulbapedia, as 86 + 36 secret) | 120 (official database) | As listed |
| Printed set size | 086, per Bulbapedia only | 083, as printed on the cards | Bulbapedia; official database |
| Trainer cards | More than 20 | Not given in the database | pokemon.com |
| Cards with special illustrations | More than 35 Pokemon and Trainer cards | No such total in the database (icons: AR 12, SR 18, SAR 6, MUR 1) | pokemon.com; official database |
| Standard legal | Yes | Regulation letter not printed in the database (Limitless lists J) | pokemon.com; Limitless TCG |
The English set has two more cards than the Japanese database lists, and the sources do not say which two. The card-level mapping that can be shown is the one for Mega Greninja ex, where both sides print numbers and illustrator credits.
Mega Greninja ex: English and Japanese Prints
The official Japanese card database lists four cards named メガゲッコウガex, all in Ninja Spinner (M4). Limitless TCG lists four English Chaos Rising prints of Mega Greninja ex, and the pairs line up by illustrator credit. A shared illustrator credit does not establish that two prints show the same image.
| English print (Limitless TCG) | Japanese print (official database) | Illustrator credit | Relationship |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaos Rising 22, Double Rare | M4 022/083, RR | takuyoa | Same credit |
| Chaos Rising 100, Ultra Rare | M4 098/083, SR | takuyoa | Same credit |
| Chaos Rising 116, Special Art Rare | M4 114/083, SAR | Susumu Maeya | Same credit |
| Chaos Rising 122, Secret Rare | M4 120/083, MUR | takuyoa | Same credit |
The rarity labels differ between the two sources because the database prints an icon and Limitless prints a name. The Japanese 098 carries the SR icon while Limitless labels its Japanese entry “Secret Rare”, and the Japanese 120 carries the MUR icon while Limitless labels it “Ultra Rare”; the English rarity names are Limitless’s. Bulbapedia’s card page describes the English set’s four prints as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, a special illustration rare card and a gold-etched Mega hyper rare card. The numbers carry no such confusion: 022, 098, 114 and 120 are the Japanese numbers, and 22, 100, 116 and 122 are the English ones.
The database prints identical card text on all four Japanese cards: Stage 2, HP 350, Water type, the Ability ひっさつしゅりけん, the attack ニンジャスピナー (two Water Energy, 120+ damage, with an option to return a Water Energy to hand for 80 more), a Mega Evolution rule giving the opponent 3 Prize cards when it is knocked out, Weakness Electric ×2, no Resistance and a retreat cost of 1. Bulbapedia’s Mega Greninja ex page credits takuyoa for the Regular, Full Art ultra rare and Mega hyper rare prints and Susumu Maeya for the special illustration rare print, matching the database.
Mega Greninja ex RR 022/083

The RR is the regular print inside the main set range and the Japanese counterpart of Chaos Rising 22. The database credits takuyoa.
Mega Greninja ex SR 098/083

The SR carries a number beyond the printed set size of 083 and the same credit as the RR. Limitless pairs it with Chaos Rising 100.
Mega Greninja ex SAR 114/083

The SAR is the one print credited to Susumu Maeya, and Limitless credits Chaos Rising 116 to the same illustrator. The other three prints on both sides carry the takuyoa credit.
Mega Greninja ex MUR 120/083

The MUR is credited to takuyoa in the database, and Bulbapedia describes the English counterpart as a gold-etched Mega hyper rare print. The Mega Greninja ex cards guide covers the card’s Japanese and English printings, and the Chaos Rising chase cards guide covers the Japanese M4 versions of the set’s top cards.
What the Bundle Does Not Contain
Two promo cards are easy to attach to the bundle by mistake, and neither belongs to it: Bulbapedia (October 1, 2026) places them in other products.
| Promo | Product it belongs to | Source |
|---|---|---|
| MEP 080 Fennekin | Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box; Bulbapedia says it was previously released in the Japanese Ninja Spinner expansion | Bulbapedia, October 1, 2026 |
| MEP 081 Mega Greninja ex (5ban Graphics) | Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection, launched July 03, 2026 | Bulbapedia, October 1, 2026 (product); Limitless TCG (number, credit) |
A buyer who wants either promo needs the product Bulbapedia names; the bundle page lists booster packs only.
Dated SNKRDUNK Asks and Our Listings
SNKRDUNK is a Japanese marketplace. SNKRDUNK is a Japanese marketplace; its figures in the table are lowest asking prices on October 2, 2026, and an ask is what a seller wants, not a completed sale.
| Item | Lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, October 2, 2026 | Our product page |
|---|---|---|
| M4 Ninja Spinner box, sealed | ¥7,999 (~$52) | Sealed ¥8,932 (~$58) |
| M4 Ninja Spinner box, no shrink | ¥7,350 (~$48) | No Shrink ¥7,455 (~$48) |
| M4 box, Damaged Box | No separate SNKRDUNK row | ¥7,796 (~$51) |
| M4 box, No Shrink Damaged Box | No separate SNKRDUNK row | ¥7,014 (~$46) |
The SNKRDUNK asks of ¥7,999 for the sealed box and ¥7,350 for the No Shrink box are lower than our Sealed ¥8,932 and No Shrink ¥7,455 options; the two measure different things, a marketplace ask and a price on our own product page. The Sealed and No Shrink figures on our page are options of one product, the M4 booster box. The Damaged Box and the No Shrink Damaged Box are separate products with their own pages, and each page states the condition of the box.

Mega Greninja ex asks by print
As of October 2, 2026, the same product pages show a lowest ask per condition. The PSA 10 figures come from the per-condition grid of each card’s page; the ungraded figures are the lowest across the condition tiers shown.
| Japanese print | PSA 10 lowest ask, October 2, 2026 | Ungraded lowest ask, October 2, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| M4 022/083 RR | ¥5,400 (~$35) | Display floor of ¥1,000, not a verified ask |
| M4 098/083 SR | ¥4,300 (~$28) | Display floor of ¥1,000, not a verified ask |
| M4 114/083 SAR | ¥25,900 (~$168) | ¥14,800 (~$96) |
| M4 120/083 MUR | ¥91,000 (~$591) | ¥30,000 (~$195) |
The two ¥1,000 entries are the marketplace’s display floor, not verified asks.
PSA 10 Mega Greninja ex Listings
PSA 10 designates Gem Mint condition per PSA’s published grading standards. The SR, SAR and MUR are offered as PSA 10 back orders — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. Our PSA 10 back orders guide explains how that route works. Sourcing requests for the RR 022/083 go through Quick Order.
| Japanese print | Our listing | SNKRDUNK PSA 10 lowest ask, October 2, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Mega Greninja ex SR M4 098/083 | PSA 10 back order at ¥4,608 (~$30) | ¥4,300 (~$28) |
| Mega Greninja ex SAR M4 114/083 | ¥25,936 (~$168) | ¥25,900 (~$168) |
| Mega Greninja ex MUR M4 120/083 | ¥94,518 (~$614) | ¥91,000 (~$591) |

The ask and the listing differ by ¥36 on the SAR; the SR and MUR gaps are larger. The ask is dated October 2, 2026, and no cause is stated for the gap.
Buying Checklist
For a buyer deciding between the English bundle and a Japanese box, these are the points the sources support.
- Language and market. The bundle is an English product from pokemon.com; the box is a Japanese product from pokemon-card.com. Card text and packaging follow the market.
- Contents. The bundle page lists six packs and nothing else. The Japanese box page prints a per-pack price and a 5-card pack size.
- Numbers. Japanese cards are numbered out of 083 and English cards out of 086 per Bulbapedia, so Mega Greninja ex RR 022/083 and Chaos Rising 22 are a pair by illustrator credit, not by number.
- Promos. Bulbapedia places MEP 080 in the Elite Trainer Box and MEP 081 in the Premium Collection; the bundle page lists neither.
- Condition. Our M4 box is offered as Sealed and No Shrink options, and the Damaged Box and No Shrink Damaged Box are separate products. Read the condition on the product page before ordering.
- Dates. Each SNKRDUNK ask is a point-in-time figure as of October 2, 2026.
- Graded singles. For a PSA 10 back order, the product page is the place to read the current terms.
