The Nami EB05-055 card drawn by Kentaro Yabuki, creator of To LOVE-Ru, is shown with its full card text in an official Bandai post, as of October 6, 2026. The official ONE PIECE Card Game account posted two images of it on October 5, 2026, and every card number, cost and effect line in that post is printed on the images themselves.
Almost everything else about the set comes from Japanese card-list sites that transcribed the October 4, 2026 livestream. This card is different: the official post names the illustrator, shows the physical card as the post says, and prints the full effect text. What Bandai does not say is just as clear.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. We list no EB-05 product.
EB05-055 Nami is a Super Rare Character card (cost 5, Power 6000, Wisdom attribute) with a Kentaro Yabuki illustration, shown in two versions on the official post of October 5, 2026. Japanese media call them a regular version and a foil-stamped version (箔押しver.); Bandai uses neither word. Pull rates, foil areas and whether the English edition carries this card are not printed anywhere official.
First edition, built from the official X post, the official product and event pages, and Japanese media reports dated October 4 and 5, 2026.
Status words used throughout: official means printed on a Bandai page or posted by the official @ONEPIECE_tcg account; reported means a named Japanese outlet said it on the date given; not confirmed means no source prints it. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
What Bandai Posted and When
The official account @ONEPIECE_tcg posted at 12:00 JST on October 5, 2026. The Japanese text opens by saying the card was shown first inside the livestream of the tournament “#メラメラの実争奪戦”, then introduces “the Character card ‘Nami’” and says the illustration is newly drawn by Kentaro Yabuki, creator of To LOVE-Ru (『To LOVEる―とらぶる―』). It adds that the physical card was also shown in the stream and points to the stream archive and the product page. That is the whole official statement; the post carries two images and no other caption.
Rendered roughly in English (our rendering, not an official translation): “Introducing a card from the Extra Booster ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 [EB-05], first shown in the stream. This time it is the Character card Nami. The illustration is newly drawn by Kentaro Yabuki, creator of To LOVE-Ru. The physical card was also shown, so please check the archive.”
Timeline of the reveal
| Date (JST) | Event | Status |
|---|---|---|
| September 25, 2026 | Bandai publishes the EB-05 release-event pages; no Nami card from EB-05 is named on them | official |
| October 4, 2026 | First shown in the finals livestream of 『メラメラの実争奪戦』 (date per Dengeki Online, SNKRDUNK and skypenguin; the official post confirms the first showing took place in that stream) | official (first showing), reported (stream date) |
| October 5, 2026, 12:00 | The official account posts the Yabuki Nami card with two images | official |
| October 5, 2026, 12:02 | The staff-run Kentaro Yabuki info account quote-posts it with a signed staff message | primary source, staff post |
| October 5, 2026, 15:11 and 19:30 | Dengeki Online and Inside Games publish write-ups; Inside Games names the two versions | reported |
| October 6, 2026 | The official card list at onepiece-cardgame.com has no EB-05 series entry and no card number starting EB05- | official (absence) |
The 12:02 post on the info account reads, in rough English, “A card newly drawn by Kentaro Yabuki is coming! Please check it out! (Staff)”. It is signed by staff, so it is not a comment from Yabuki himself. The Japanese reports of October 4 and 5, 2026 carry no comment from Yabuki himself about drawing Nami.
EB05-055 Card Data and Effect Text
Every detail of the card is printed on the two official images, which carry a SAMPLE watermark from the promotional image. The watermark is Bandai’s stamp on the picture and not part of the card design.
| Item | Printed on the image | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Card number and rarity | EB05-055, SR, with a small star mark beside the rarity on both versions | official |
| Type and name | CHARACTER / ナミ (Nami) | official |
| Cost and Power | Cost 5, Power 6000 | official |
| Attribute | 知 (Wisdom) | official |
| Traits | 東の海 / 麦わらの一味 (East Blue / Straw Hat Crew) | official |
| Card color | Yellow on the frame; card-list sites list EB05-055 as yellow | reported |
| Illustrator credit | “Kentaro Yabuki” on the right edge | official |
The effect, in roughly English
The Japanese text on both versions is 「【自分のターン中】【登場時】自分のリーダーが属性(知)を持つ場合、自分のデッキの上から1枚までを、ライフの上に加える。」 and 「【トリガー】自分の手札1枚を捨てることができる:自分のライフが2枚以下の場合、このカードを登場させる。」 Our rendering, roughly: “[Your Turn] [On Play] If your Leader has the Wisdom attribute, add up to 1 card from the top of your deck to the top of your Life cards.” and “[Trigger] You may trash 1 card from your hand: If you have 2 or fewer Life cards, play this card.” Bandai has not published English card text for EB-05.
Two things follow directly from the wording. The On Play line depends on the Leader’s attribute, so it is a Wisdom-Leader card. The Trigger line is a condition on Life: the card can be played from a Trigger only when the player is at 2 or fewer Life. The official card list prints P-117 Nami, a promo Leader, as a Wisdom-attribute Leader with Life 5, while the OP11-041 Nami Leader is printed there with the Special attribute. Neither is a statement about how EB05-055 will perform; there is no playable data until the set is released.
The Two Yabuki Images Side by Side
Both images show the same Nami figure: a white-and-blue sailor-collar top, orange shorts, banknotes in hand. What changes is the background and the frame details.

Version one: the cat-silhouette background
The background is a magenta-to-purple field with a cat silhouette and hearts, inside the standard card frame with a yellow name bar reading CHARACTER ナミ. Inside Games described it on October 5, 2026 as 「背景に猫のシルエットがデザインされた通常版」, a regular version with a cat silhouette in the background.

Version two: the close-up background
The second image puts a large close-up of Nami’s face behind the figure, with pastel hearts and a lace pattern. The cost sits inside a yellow heart and the name plate is an ornate gold shape. Inside Games called it 「ナミの表情を大きく描いた箔押しver.」, a foil-stamped version with Nami’s expression drawn large. Skypenguin added that the text block sits further from the frame than on a normal card to leave the art visible (a one-blog observation).

Who uses which label
| Outlet and date | Label for the cat-silhouette card | Label for the close-up card |
|---|---|---|
| Bandai (official post, October 5, 2026) | キャラクターカード「ナミ」 | キャラクターカード「ナミ」 |
| Inside Games, October 5, 2026 | 通常版 | 箔押しver. |
| Tier One card list, updated October 4, 2026 | 通常パラレル (listed as SR parallel) | 箔押しver. (listed as SR parallel) |
| Dengeki Online, October 5, 2026 | no version names; 矢吹健太朗先生描き下ろしのキャラクターカード“ナミ” | |
The outlets agree on the number, the illustrator and that there are two versions. They disagree on vocabulary, which is why the wording stays as “reported as a regular version and a foil-stamped version” instead of a Bandai classification.
Four Reported Versions of EB05-055
The card lists show EB05-055 as a four-version card as of October 6, 2026. Only the two Yabuki versions have an official image and official text behind them.
| Version | What the sources describe | Source | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base SR | Different art: Nami on a ship with coins; a Bandai SAMPLE image is hosted by Tier One | Tier One, October 4, 2026 | reported |
| Regular parallel | Monochrome art; listed as eb05-055p by Tier One and EB05-055_p by Mercard Akihabara | Tier One, Mercard Akihabara, SNKRDUNK | reported |
| Yabuki, cat silhouette | Newly drawn by Kentaro Yabuki | official X post, October 5, 2026 | official |
| Yabuki, close-up | Newly drawn by Kentaro Yabuki; media call it the foil-stamped version | official X post; Inside Games, October 5, 2026 | official (image), reported (label) |

Whether the two Yabuki cards are parallels of the base SR, as the card-list sites file them, or something Bandai will describe differently is not stated by Bandai. Bandai’s release-event page lists five card classes for its prize draw: Super Rare, Secret, Special Card, Parallel Card and Super Parallel Card. Which of those the Yabuki versions belong to is not printed. For the full parallel picture across the set, the sibling article on EB-05 parallels and super parallels lists every card reported with a parallel, and Nami cards in EB-05 places EB05-055 beside the other Nami cards tied to the set.
What Bandai Has Not Said
As of October 6, 2026 the official product page, the official news index and the EN product page print none of the following. Each of these stays open until Bandai publishes it.
- A treatment name. The post does not use パラレル, スペシャルカード, 通常版 or 箔押し. The words come from media.
- Which parts are foil-stamped. No source says which areas of the close-up version are foil, and no source describes the texture or finish.
- Pull rate or count per box. Bandai has published no rate for any EB-05 card. SNKRDUNK’s per-box ratios come from SNKRDUNK itself and are based on earlier sets, not a Bandai figure.
- Distribution beyond “included in EB-05”. The post says the card is one 収録 into the Extra Booster. It does not call it a box topper or a promo, and the product page says cards are packed at random.
- An English version. The English product page prints a release date and a pack price but no card names, numbers or illustrators. Whether the English edition carries this card or this art is not confirmed.
- The official card-list entry. Until the card list adds EB-05, every other detail (color, versions, rarity of each version) rests on card-list sites.
Bandai’s post carries no comment from Yabuki and no “first” wording, and no published source names an earlier ONE PIECE illustration by him.
How the Card Is Obtained and What Japan Charges
Bandai’s wording is that the card is included in the Extra Booster ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 [EB-05], and the product page states 「カードはランダムに封入されています」, cards are packed at random. Apart from the booster box, the official PRECIOUS BOX holds one EB-05 box; no promo and no event prize on the official event and product pages is an EB-05 card as of October 6, 2026.
| Item | Japan | Source and status |
|---|---|---|
| Release date | Saturday, October 31, 2026 | official product page |
| Pack | 6 cards, 240 yen tax included (~$2) | official product page |
| Box | 24 packs on the box render; 5,760 yen tax included (~$37) as the venue price on the release-event and Heroines CUP pages | official images and event pages; the product page prints no box price |
| Types in the set | 75 + 2 types (7 Leader, 29 Common, 21 Rare, 9 Super Rare, 1 Secret Rare, 8 Special, 2 DON!!) | official product page |
| PRECIOUS BOX | 8,470 yen tax included (~$55): one EB-05 box plus storage box, 70 sleeves and 10 special DON!! cards; official-shop exclusive | official product page |
| English edition | October 30, 2026; USD $4.99 per pack | official English product page |

The release-event page adds that anyone who opens one pack and finds a Super Rare, Secret, Special Card, Parallel Card or Super Parallel Card receives a commemorative DON!! card at the event, which runs from October 31 to November 15, 2026 at official shops in Japan. Entry to that event was by lottery with an application window of September 25 to October 4, 2026, and Bandai lists October 9, 2026 as the results date. Both Yabuki versions print SR, and the prize-draw list names both Super Rare and Parallel Card; Bandai has not said which class the Yabuki versions belong to.
Japanese retailer lotteries for the box ran on separate windows reported by SNKRDUNK on October 4, 2026: AEON Kyushu listed entries from October 3 to October 11, 2026, TSUTAYA Sano from October 2 to October 11, 2026, and Ito-Yokado listed October 9 to October 11, 2026. Those are Japan-resident lotteries and not routes open to overseas readers. Carton size and carton price are not confirmed.
The Artist in One Paragraph
Bandai’s post names one work, To LOVE-Ru. Dengeki Online (October 5, 2026) also names BLACK CAT, and Inside Games (October 5, 2026) names あやかしトライアングル. VIZ Media states that Black Cat began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2000, and Oricon reported in October 2026 (carried by 紀伊民報AGARA) that To LOVE-Ru ran in the same magazine from 2006 to 2009 and its sequel in Jump SQ. from 2010 to 2017. The full career, the announcement chain and the other guest illustrators in the card game are covered in Kentaro Yabuki draws Nami.
What We List Instead
We list no EB-05 product. The nearest product by theme is the first Heroines Edition, EB-03, a different set with a different card list. For readers who want the earlier Heroines cards while EB-05 is still ahead in Japan, the EB-03 listing page and the Heroines buying guide are the starting points: the EB-03 card list and the EB-03 Heroines booster box guide.

EB-03 is the earlier Heroines set, not the same set as EB-05. A Damaged Box is a factory-sealed box whose outer carton has damage; the product condition guide explains the grades. The EB-03 Damaged Box is a separate product from the sealed box.

Where to Buy Nami Cards from Japan
Sourcing requests for EB-05 go through Quick Order. Until the set is released in Japan on October 31, 2026, the products we list are earlier sets. The Japanese One Piece card box collection shows the sealed boxes, and the Nami cards collection collects the Nami singles. The EB-03 box also comes as EB-03 Damaged Box ¥14,657 (~$95). Frequently Asked Questions
Who illustrated the Nami card in EB-05?
Kentaro Yabuki, creator of To LOVE-Ru. The official ONE PIECE Card Game account said on October 5, 2026 that the illustration is newly drawn by him, and the card edge prints the credit “Kentaro Yabuki”. The card is EB05-055, a Super Rare Character card.
What are the two Yabuki versions of EB05-055?
One has a cat silhouette and hearts in the background; the other has a large close-up of Nami’s face. Inside Games called them a regular version and a foil-stamped version on October 5, 2026. Bandai has not named either version, so those labels are media wording.
Which parts of the foil-stamped Nami are foil?
No source says. Bandai’s post does not use the word foil-stamped, and the Japanese outlets that do use it describe the background art rather than the finish. Which areas are stamped, and how the card feels, are not confirmed until the physical product or an official description appears.
What are the Nami EB05-055 pull rates?
Bandai has published no pull rates for any EB-05 card, and the product page says only that cards are packed at random. There is no official per-box or per-carton count for the Yabuki versions either, so any figure in circulation is an estimate and not a printed fact.
When does EB-05 release in Japan, and how much is a pack?
The official product page prints Saturday, October 31, 2026, with six cards per pack at 240 yen tax included. Bandai’s event pages list a box at 5,760 yen tax included. The English edition is dated October 30, 2026 at USD $4.99 per pack.
Is the Yabuki Nami in the English edition of EB-05?
Not confirmed. The English product page prints the release date, the pack price and a total of 75+2 types, but no card names, numbers or illustrators. Whether the English edition includes the Yabuki art, or the same rarities as the Japanese set, has not been stated by Bandai.
