The table sets the English expansion beside the two Japanese sets. English cells come from the official pokemon.com pages, apart from the printed total, which comes from pokemon-tcg-data (a third-party source), and the Limitless row counts. Japanese cells come from Bulbapedia’s list of Japanese expansions (snapshot September 15, 2026), the Limitless set headers and the official pokemon-card.com database.

The Japanese release split the English set’s Ultra Rare cards across two sets: seven SR prints sit in SM7 and ten in SM6b. The English release carries all 17 in one set, numbered 152 to 168.

Set Size: Over 160, 168 Printed, 187 Rows

As of September 30, 2026, three sources give different numbers for the same English set, and each is correct on its own counting basis. The official page prints an approximate figure, pokemon-tcg-data gives the printed and total counts, and Limitless TCG counts every row it lists.

The header says 183 and the list carries 187 rows; the four lettered variant rows (10a Sceptile, 123a Acro Bike, 148a Tate & Liza and 177a Rayquaza-GX) account for the difference. By Limitless’s labels the 187 rows split as follows; the rarity names are Limitless’s own, not the official English names.

The Nine Ultra Rare Pokémon-GX and Their SR Prints

Limitless labels English cards 152 to 160 Ultra Rare: nine Pokémon-GX cards. Each has a regular Japanese print (RR) and an SR print numbered above the main list. The SR print is the same-tier match by the official rarity icon. The official database credits the Japanese SR print of the six cards pictured (Shiftry-GX, Blaziken-GX, Articuno-GX, Electrode-GX, Mr. Mime-GX and Banette-GX) to the same illustrator that Limitless shows for the English card; a matching credit supports the match but does not by itself show that the artwork is identical. Rainbow Rare, Secret Rare and Variant Rows: EN 169–183

Limitless labels English cards 169 to 177 Rainbow Rare and 178 to 183 Secret Rare, and it lists four lettered variant rows without a rarity label. The nine Rainbow Rare cards repeat the nine Pokémon-GX of the Ultra Rare block, and the Secret Rare cards are four Trainer Items, a Tool and Rainbow Energy. Limitless’s Japanese-print lists for the Rainbow Rare cards show the same RR and SR prints as for the Ultra Rare versions, so these cards have no verified same-tier Japanese print. The table shows the Japanese prints of the same game text instead.

English or Japanese: A Print Checklist

A card from the Celestial Storm era can be an English card, a Japanese SM7 card or a Japanese SM6b card. Four printed details separate them.

• Number against set size. English Ultra Rare cards are numbered 152 to 168 in a set whose printed total is 168 (per pokemon-tcg-data). Japanese SR prints are numbered above their main list, such as 101/096 in SM7 or 067/066 in SM6b.
• Set code. The Japanese cards carry SM7 or SM6b; the English cards carry the Celestial Storm set.
• Regular and SR prints in one set. Where the English set has one card, the Japanese set has a regular print and an SR print; Articuno-GX, for example, has both its RR 014/066 and SR 067/066 in SM6b.
• Illustrator credit. A matching credit supports an English-to-Japanese match but does not prove that the artwork is identical.
