EB-05 vs OP-18: Japanese One Piece Boxes for Oct 31 and Nov 21

EB-05 vs OP-18: Japanese One Piece Boxes for Oct 31 and Nov 21

EB-05 and OP-18 are the two Japanese One Piece Card Game releases of autumn 2026, and as of October 6, 2026 their official pages describe two very different products. The Extra Booster ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 goes on sale in Japan on Saturday, October 31, 2026, three weeks before the main booster The Dominance of God (Japanese name 神の支配) on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Both are sold at 240 yen (~$2) per pack in Japan, both print six cards per pack, and both official box renders print 24 packs per box. Beyond that the pages diverge: one is a themed Extra Booster with a printed rarity breakdown and revealed cards, the other is a numbered main-line booster whose product page prints no rarity breakdown at all. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. We list no EB-05 and no OP-18 product. Every set fact carries its status: official (a Bandai page or post), reported (a named outlet and date) or not confirmed.

Key Takeaways

EB-05 is an Extra Booster (75 + 2 types, seven Leaders, one Secret Rare type, eight Special Cards, two DON!! cards) releasing October 31, 2026. OP-18 is the 18th main booster (127 + 1 types) releasing November 21, 2026, and its product page prints no rarity breakdown. Neither page prints a pull rate or a carton size. For sealed Japanese boxes we currently list the EB-03 box (Box option) ¥15,737 (~$102) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) and the OP-10 Royal Blood Damaged Box, listed at ¥10,120 (~$66) (packs factory sealed, outer box damaged; condition guide).

Two Releases, Three Weeks Apart

Bandai’s product calendar, as of October 6, 2026, places both sets in a four-week window. The English calendar runs one day earlier than Japan for each set.

Product Japan release English release Pack price
EB-05 Extra Booster ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 Saturday, October 31, 2026 October 30, 2026 240 yen incl. tax (Japan) / USD $4.99 (English)
ONE PIECE HEROINES PRECIOUS BOX (certified-shop exclusive) October 31, 2026 not on the English index 8,470 yen incl. tax per box set
OP-18 Booster Pack "The Dominance of God" (神の支配) Saturday, November 21, 2026 November 20, 2026 240 yen incl. tax (Japan) / USD $4.99 (English)

The official English index prints OP-18 under the name "THE DOMINANCE OF GOD" and EB-05 as "EXTRA BOOSTER -ONE PIECE HEROINES EDITION vol.2-". The Japanese index lists no product dated December 2026 or January 2027 as of October 6, 2026. Our existing release schedule post covers the wider calendar.

The EB-05 rarity line on the official Japanese page reads: Leader cards 7 types, Common 29, Rare 21, Super Rare 9, Secret Rare 1, Special Cards 8, DON!! cards 2. The first six numbers add up to 75, and the two DON!! types are the natural reading of the "+2", although the page does not spell that out. OP-18’s page, as of October 1, 2026, prints the type count (127 types + 1 type) and no rarity line.

Extra Booster or Main Booster: What the Difference Means

Bandai labels EB-05 an "Extra Booster" (エクストラブースター) and OP-18 a "Booster Pack" (ブースターパック). The labels are printed in the product names, and the pages use them differently.

EB-05: a themed second volume

EB-05 ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 official key visual
EB-05 ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 key visual — official product image

The EB-05 page opens with "The second Extra Booster with the heroines in the leading role!" and tells readers to collect the beautiful characters to strengthen a deck. It follows the first Heroines Edition, EB-03, which the official Japanese page lists at 220 yen per pack with 71 + 4 types (released October 25, 2025). The difference between the two is covered in our EB-05 release date and Leaders post.

OP-18: the 18th main booster

OP-18’s page describes "the 18th booster" themed on "Water Seven" and the "Holy Knights of God" (神の騎士団), with the headline "The World Government’s greatest power has arrived". Its pack and box renders carry a "4th Anniversary" mark, per the official images as of October 1, 2026. Our OP-18 release date and card list post follows that set in detail.

What the labels do not tell a buyer

Neither label says anything about how rare any card is. Bandai prints no pull rate for either set, so a comparison of "which has better odds" cannot be made from official material. What can be compared is the type count, the printed rarity structure where one exists, the price per pack and the revealed cards.

What Is Revealed for EB-05

EB-05 has the larger reveal pool. As of October 6, 2026, the card lists of Tier One, メルカード秋葉原 and SNKRDUNK (all updated October 4, 2026) together show 57 distinct card numbers revealed on the official livestream of October 4, 2026: 46 numbered EB05 cards out of 61 base numbers, plus 11 cards that carry older set numbers. The official card list had no EB-05 rows as of October 6, 2026, so most of these are reported, not official.

Secret Rare (1 type) Reported as Nami EB05-061 by Tier One, メルカード秋葉原 and SNKRDUNK (October 4, 2026); メルカード秋葉原 and the card image show red, Tier One’s text says yellow Reported

Official reveal graphic for Nami EB05-055 (cat-silhouette background), posted by the official account on October 5, 2026

For the Robin Leader number, the reveal images and Bandai’s Heroines CUP page print the Robin Leader as EB05-010; Bandai’s release-event page lists the Robin Leader as EB05-016, the number the reveal images show on a Super Rare Character card; the official card list has no EB-05 rows as of October 6, 2026. The full list of revealed cards, with a status for each, sits in our EB-05 card list post.

What Is Revealed for OP-18

OP-18’s reveal pool is thinner. Official material names Saint Gunko and Saint Shamrock (product page) and the two Amano illustrations (official staff account, August 23, 2026); every other OP-18 card is reported. The official product page prints no card names or numbers as text, and the official card list had no OP-18 rows as of October 1, 2026.

OP-18 item What is known Status
Saint Gunko (軍子宮) and Saint Shamrock (シャムロック聖) The product page says both make their card game debut Official
Amano illustrations of Loki and Saint Shamrock Announced by the official staff account on August 23, 2026 Official
Leaders Karoo (カルー), Franky, Monkey D. Luffy, Miss All Sunday and Saint Gunko Reported by tier-one, meli-melo and gamepedia in lists collected on September 25, 2026; not on any official page as of October 1, 2026 Reported
Rarity breakdown, parallels, Secret Rare list Not on the product page or the card list Not confirmed

The official card list will show OP-18 rows only once Bandai adds them. Our OP-18 revealed cards post keeps the running list with its own dates.

The Two Guest Illustrators

Bandai does not use the phrase "guest illustrator". Its wording is 描き下ろし (newly drawn) plus the artist’s name, and one autumn set carries a named outside artist in each case.

Set Artist Card Status and source
EB-05 (October 31, 2026) Kentaro Yabuki, creator of To LOVE-Ru Nami EB05-055 SR, two versions Official: post by the official ONE PIECE Card Game account, October 5, 2026
OP-18 (November 21, 2026) Yoshitaka Amano, known for FINAL FANTASY Loki and Saint Shamrock Official: staff account post and one-piece.com, August 23, 2026

The OP-18 product page does not mention Amano; the credit lives on the staff account and on one-piece.com. The sample images attached to the August 23 post credit "Yoshitaka Amano" on the card edge. The EB-05 product page does not mention Yabuki either. Our OP-18 chase cards post covers the Amano side, and the article on Amano and Yabuki as guest illustrators sets the two artists next to each other.

What Neither Page Prints

Several details that buyers ask about are absent from both official product pages as of the dates given.

Detail EB-05 OP-18
Pull rates Not published Not published
Box price on the product page Not printed; event pages list 5,760 yen per box Not printed anywhere official
Packs per box as page text Not printed as text; the box render prints 24 packs Not printed as text; the box render prints 24 packs
Carton size Not confirmed Not confirmed
English cards per pack Not printed on the English page Not printed on the English page
Rarity counts, English edition English page lists rarity names and "75+2 types" only English page lists "127+1 types" only
Card list rows None as of October 6, 2026 None as of October 1, 2026

The box renders sit under Bandai’s own disclaimer that product specifications may change, so "24 packs" is the image reading, not a page statement. Multiplying 24 packs by the 240-yen pack price gives 5,760 yen, which matches the EB-05 event box price; for OP-18 that product is arithmetic only and no official page prints a box price.

Japanese Retail Picture for Both

The official EB-05 release events carry the only official box price for either set. The main event will run at official shops from October 31 to November 15, 2026; its lottery took applications from September 25 to October 4, 2026, with results set for October 9, 2026. The venue sales line reads "1 box: 5,760 yen (tax included)". A junior event for elementary and junior-high students, November 7 to 15, 2026, will sell single packs at 240 yen, up to 24 packs per buyer.

Japanese retailers also ran their own lotteries. SNKRDUNK reported on October 4, 2026 that AEON Kyushu listed entry dates of October 3 to October 11, 2026 and TSUTAYA Sano listed October 2 to October 11, 2026. These are Japan-resident retail lotteries, not routes open to overseas buyers. Bandai had published no OP-18 release-event page as of October 1, 2026.

Our OP-18 pre-order guide for Japan covers the buying mechanics of OP-18 in Japan.

A Buyer Checklist by Set Type and Goal

The set type (Extra Booster versus main booster) and the buyer’s goal decide which official facts matter. Neither set type is ranked; each goal is matched only to what the official pages print.
