Glaceon has been reprinted 30+ times across English and Japanese sets since 2007 — DP-era holos, three separate GX slots, a Yu Nagaba artist promo, and a 2024 ex SAR that’s still one of the newer chase versions on the market. We currently hold PSA10 copies across six of those printings, and the price gap between the cheapest and the most expensive is nearly 6x.
This guide walks the full Glaceon printing catalog era by era — DP through the 2024 Scarlet & Violet return — then lines up our own graded stock so you can see exactly where each card sits. We ship graded and sealed Japanese product out of Tokyo, so every price below is a real listing, not a market estimate.
Glaceon spans DP (2007) through SV8a Terastal Festival ex (2024) across 30+ documented EN/JP printings. Of the six PSA10 grades we currently carry, the Glaceon ex SAR (SV8a 206/187) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) is the newest printing, currently listed at ¥21,012, and the Glaceon GX HR (SM5M 073/066) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) tops the ladder at ¥51,500 — one-of-one stock — when it sells, it’s gone.
Prices are our own current PSA10 listings (approx. $55–$316 at ¥163/USD, 2026-07 basis), checked August 12, 2026. Inventory moves daily — treat every figure below as “currently listed,” not a guaranteed count.
Every Major Glaceon Printing and What It’s Worth
This isn’t a full census — Glaceon has picked up promo variants across nearly every set era — but it covers the printings that matter for identification and value, in chronological order. Our own PSA10 stock is linked where it appears.

Every era produced at least one Glaceon worth chasing, but the six we carry span the widest range of rarity types — SR, SR(SA), HR, VSTAR SAR, an artist promo, and an ex SAR. The sections below walk each era in order.
The DP Debut (2007–2008)
Glaceon’s first cards arrived with Diamond & Pearl era Eeveelution support: a Rare Holo (5/100) and a Rare (20/100) in English Majestic Dawn, with the Japanese counterpart split across DP4 Dawn Dash (regular Rare Holo and the rarer LV.X) and a separate DP-P promo (070/DP-P) matching the Rare. The LV.X — Majestic Dawn 98/100 in English, DP4 Dawn Dash in Japanese — is the header card of this era; LV.X mechanics only existed for a few years before Pokemon retired the format, making it one of the oldest prints in this catalog.
We don’t currently carry a graded DP-era Glaceon, so there’s no in-stock anchor for this section — but it’s the starting point for any Glaceon print-run timeline, and worth knowing if you’re trying to date an older binder pull.
BW to XY: The Middle Era
Between 2009 and 2017, Glaceon picked up a standard reprint in several English blocks — Rising Rivals, Dark Explorers, Plasma Freeze, Furious Fists — each with a matching Japanese release. The header card of the stretch is Glaceon-EX, first printed in Fates Collide (JP: 覚醒の超王, XY10 018/078) in 2016, then reprinted a year later in The Best of XY (020/171), a 2017 Japanese-exclusive reprint set. We hold a Glaceon-EX from that reprint in our archive, but it’s currently unpriced and out of stock, so it’s mentioned here for identification purposes only, not as a live anchor.
None of this era’s Japanese numbering is independently cross-sourced beyond Bulbapedia, so treat the exact JP card numbers from this stretch as reference points rather than fully verified figures.
The SM GX Era (2017–2018)
Sun & Moon’s Ultra Moon expansion (SM5M, released December 8, 2017) gave Glaceon its first GX slot — and split it across three rarities in the same set: an RR, an SR, and a Hyper Rare (HR) rainbow foil. A related SM-P promo (269) and, in 2018’s SM8b GX Ultra Shiny, a shiny version and a Secret Super Rare (SSR, 215/150) rounded out the era.
The card we actually carry from this stretch is the HR — 073/066, the rainbow-foil top slot of SM5M. There’s no CDN image available for it (the print sits outside the archive limitless indexed), but the card is well documented across secondary market listings. It’s our single highest-priced PSA10 Glaceon at ¥51,500 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), and it’s one-of-one stock — when it sells, it’s gone.
SM5M alone produced three Glaceon GX rarities — RR, SR, and HR — with the same artwork treatment family. The card number in the corner (011, 067, or 073) is the fastest way to tell them apart.
Eevee Heroes: The S6a Ladder (2021)
S6a Eevee Heroes (released May 28, 2021) is the densest Glaceon set in this catalog — six card slots across four base rarities: V (024), VMAX (025), V SR (076), and a second SR alternate-art variant (077, illustrated by Narumi Sato) that collectors distinguish as the “SA,” plus a VMAX HR (090) and its alternate-art HR(SA) counterpart (091) sitting above that on the rarity ladder.
We carry PSA10 copies of both SR slots. The regular 076/069 SR is our lowest-priced Glaceon PSA10 across the entire catalog, currently listed at ¥8,961 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). The alternate-art 077/069 — the Narumi Sato illustration — sits far higher, at ¥49,213, roughly 5.5x the regular SR despite coming from the same set and rarity tier.
We don’t currently stock either VMAX HR slot; our own archive once listed the 091/069 HR(SA) at ¥158,414 before it sold out, which gives a sense of where the top of this ladder sits — well above the SR pair we carry today.
If you’re comparing sealed product from this era rather than singles, our Eevee Heroes vs VSTAR Universe box guide lines up S6a and S12a side by side.
VSTAR Universe & the Nagaba Promo (2022–2023)
Glaceon’s VSTAR form never got a standard pack pull — the only pack-collectible version is the Special Art Rare in S12a VSTAR Universe (217/172, released December 2, 2022, illustrated by Gemi). The regular VSTAR artwork exists only as a separate promo card (271/S-P). A year later, in 2023, Glaceon appeared again in a Yu Nagaba × Pokémon Card Game artist-collaboration promo (069/SV-P) — a campaign card featuring Nagaba’s distinct flat-color illustration style, distinct from any mainline set release.
A regular (non-Rare) Glaceon also appeared in April 2022’s S10P Space Juggler set (021/067, Uncommon) — a straightforward pack pull with no chase status, but worth flagging if you’re cross-referencing S10P pulls; see our S10P pull rates guide for the full set breakdown.
We currently carry both. The VSTAR SAR is listed at ¥15,886, and the Nagaba promo — a limited campaign card rather than a set-collectible pull — runs higher, at ¥28,407. If you’re set-building rather than chasing artist promos, the SAR is the version that actually comes from a booster pack; the Nagaba card is a separate collectible track entirely.
The SV Return: Terastal Festival ex (2024)
Glaceon’s most recent mainline appearance is SV8a Terastal Festival ex, released December 6, 2024. The set carries a regular non-EX Glaceon (040/187, with a Master Ball mirror parallel also in circulation), a Glaceon ex in Double Rare (RR, 041/187), and the SAR at 206/187 — the top-rarity slot for this Glaceon and the newest printing on this whole list. A separate regular Glaceon (SV6a Crimson Haze, 021/066) was released a few months earlier, in March 2024.
The ex SAR (206/187) is the one worth knowing: full-art special illustration treatment, top rarity slot of the set, and currently listed by us at ¥21,012 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). It’s the newest card on this entire timeline, and the one most likely to still see price movement as SV8a supply continues to settle.

Our PSA10 Ladder by Budget
Six graded printings, currently listed, ascending by price:
- ¥8,961 — Glaceon V SR (S6a 076/069) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). The most affordable entry, and a straightforward pack-pull SR from a widely available 2021 set.
- ¥15,886 — Glaceon VSTAR SAR (S12a 217/172). The only pack-collectible VSTAR version, since the standard artwork exists only as a promo.
- ¥21,012 — Glaceon ex SAR (SV8a 206/187) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). The newest printing on the list, from Glaceon’s December 2024 return.
- ¥28,407 — Glaceon (Yu Nagaba) 069/SV-P. A limited-run artist promo, not a set pull — distributed through campaign channels, not a booster box.
- ¥49,213 — Glaceon V SR(SA) (S6a 077/069). Same set and rarity tier as the ¥8,961 entry above, but the Narumi Sato alternate-art slot commands more than 5x the price.
- ¥51,500 — Glaceon GX HR (SM5M 073/066) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). Our top Glaceon anchor, one-of-one stock — when it sells, it’s gone.
Quantities on all six listings move throughout the day as orders come in. Check the live product page for the current count before you check out — the prices above are stable, the stock isn’t.
Reading the Numbers: How to ID Your Glaceon
With 30+ EN/JP printings floating around, the fastest way to identify what you’re holding is the card number and rarity marker in the bottom corner, cross-referenced against the set name printed on the card:
- GX / V / VMAX / VSTAR / ex in the card name tells you the generation — GX belongs to the Sun & Moon era, V/VMAX/VSTAR to Sword & Shield, and ex to the current Scarlet & Violet era.
- Card number vs. set total (e.g. 076/069, where the number exceeds the set’s main total of 069) usually flags a secret-rare or alternate-art slot rather than a standard pull — that’s the pattern behind Glaceon’s 076 vs. 077 SR pair.
- Rarity abbreviations — RR, SR, HR, SAR, SSR — escalate roughly in that order within a given set, though the exact hierarchy is set-specific. HR (Hyper Rare) and SAR (Special Art Rare) both sit near the top of their respective eras’ rarity ladders.
- Promo vs. pack pull matters for scarcity reasoning. The Yu Nagaba 069/SV-P and the VSTAR 271/S-P promo were never available in booster packs, so pull-rate odds don’t apply to them the way they do to standard set cards.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the most valuable Glaceon card?
Among the printings we carry, the Glaceon GX HR (SM5M 073/066) is our highest-priced PSA10, currently listed at ¥51,500. It’s one-of-one stock, so it sells out without restocking on a fixed schedule.
What’s the cheapest way to get a graded Glaceon?
The Glaceon V SR from S6a Eevee Heroes (076/069), currently listed at ¥8,961 PSA10 — our lowest-priced Glaceon grade, and roughly a sixth of the price of our most expensive one.
Why does the S6a 077/069 SR cost so much more than the 076/069 SR?
Both come from the same set and the same SR rarity tier, but 077/069 is the alternate-art slot illustrated by Narumi Sato, which the market prices well above the regular SR — our own listings show roughly 5.5x the gap.
Does Glaceon VSTAR have a regular pack-pull version?
No. S12a VSTAR Universe only includes the Special Art Rare (217/172). The standard-artwork VSTAR exists solely as a separate promo card (271/S-P), not as a booster-pack pull.
What is the Yu Nagaba Glaceon promo?
A 2023 artist-collaboration promo card (069/SV-P) featuring illustrator Yu Nagaba’s distinct flat-color style, released as part of a Pokémon Card Game campaign separate from any mainline set. We currently list a PSA10 copy at ¥28,407.
