Korrina Pokemon Card Guide: Every Japanese Trainer Print, Rising Fist SR to Korrina’s Focus SR

Korrina Pokemon Card Guide: Every Japanese Trainer Print, Rising Fist SR to Korrina’s Focus SR

Two Japanese Pokemon Supporter cards carry the name Korrina, and mixing them up is easy if you’re going by the English name alone. “Korrina” (コルニ) is a Fighting-type, Item-search Supporter that first appeared in 2014’s Rising Fist. “Korrina’s Focus” (コルニの気合い) is an unrelated hand-refill Supporter that debuted seven years later, in 2021’s Rapid Strike Master. Different Japanese names, different effects, different sets.

This guide keeps the two families separate, covers every print we’ve verified for each, and lines up their English-language equivalents. We ship graded Japanese singles out of Tokyo, and a PSA 10 of each anchor Secret Rare is currently listed on our site.

Key Takeaways

Two Japanese Supporter cards share the Korrina name and nothing else. Korrina SR :1ED (102/096, Rising Fist) searches your deck for a Fighting-type Pokemon and an Item card, reveals them, and adds them to your hand — it’s currently listed at ¥153,400 (~$965). Korrina’s Focus SR (079/070, Rapid Strike Master) does something completely different, drawing your hand up to 6 cards, and is currently listed at ¥20,367 (~$128). They’re seven years and one entirely different card apart.

Korrina (コルニ): The Rising Fist Search Supporter

Korrina’s Japanese Supporter print appeared in Rising Fist (XY3), released 14 June 2014 as part of a 103-card set. The card searches your deck for a Fighting-type Pokemon and an Item card, reveals them, adds them to your hand, then shuffles your deck back together — a tempo-neutral way to line up a Fighting-type attacker with its supporting item on the same turn.

The Secret Rare printing, numbered 102 against the set’s 096 denominator, is illustrated by Yusuke Ohmura. Numbering above a set’s stated card count is how Japanese Secret Rares are marked, and 102/096 fits that pattern exactly. A PSA 10 :1ED copy is currently listed at ¥153,400 (~$965).

Korrina — 090/096 (the lower-numbered sibling print)

Korrina 090/096 Japanese Pokemon Supporter card, Rising Fist
Korrina 090/096 — Rising Fist (XY3), rarity not independently reconfirmed

The same Rising Fist set also carries a Korrina print numbered 090/096, within the set’s normal numbering range and credited to the same illustrator, Yusuke Ohmura. This print’s exact rarity tier hasn’t been independently reconfirmed for this guide, so treat it as a distinct, lower-numbered print rather than a priced item. It is not currently listed on our site at the moment; sourcing requests go through Quick Order.

Korrina’s Focus (コルニの気合い): The Rapid Strike Master Draw Supporter

Korrina’s Focus is a separate card in every sense — different Japanese name, different set, different era. It debuted in Rapid Strike Master (S5R), released 22 January 2021 as part of an 81-card set. (Our own anchor-product listing translates the set name as “Rengeki Master” — the same S5R set under an alternate English rendering of its Japanese title, 連撃マスター.) The card’s effect is a straight hand refill: draw cards until your hand has 6 cards.

Numbered 079 against a 070 denominator — again above the set’s stated count, the same Secret Rare signature seen on Korrina SR — this print is illustrated by Taira Akitsu. A PSA 10 copy is currently listed at ¥20,367 (~$128). The Rapid Strike Master booster box this SR is pulled from is also listed on our site, without a displayed price; pricing enquiries go through Quick Order.

Korrina’s Focus — 066/070 (the lower-numbered sibling print)

Korrina’s Focus 066/070 — Rapid Strike Master (S5R), rarity not independently reconfirmed

The same set also carries a 066/070 print of Korrina’s Focus. Neither its rarity tier nor its illustrator credit have been independently reconfirmed for this guide, and it is not currently listed on our site at the moment; sourcing requests go through Quick Order.

Japanese vs English Print

Both confirmed Korrina Secret Rares have English-language equivalents, released under Pokemon’s international naming for the same TCG expansions.

Japanese print Card # English equivalent(s)
Korrina SR :1ED (Rising Fist, XY3) 102/096 Furious Fists #95 (standard), #111 (Full Art)
Korrina’s Focus SR (Rapid Strike Master, S5R) 079/070 Battle Styles #128 (standard), #160 (Full Art), #174 (Secret Rare)

Both English releases split the character across a standard-rarity print and one or more full-art or secret-rare treatments — the same multi-tier pattern the Japanese sets use, just under a different numbering convention. There’s no English print that maps directly to either lower-numbered Japanese sibling print (090/096 or 066/070) in our sources.

Where These Secret Rares Sit in Japanese Rarity Tiers

In Japanese Pokemon numbering, a card printed with a number higher than the set’s stated denominator sits in a secret-rare slot beyond the set’s main run. That’s exactly what’s happening with both anchor prints here: Korrina SR is numbered 102 against a 096 denominator, and Korrina’s Focus SR is numbered 079 against a 070 denominator. Both carry the Secret Rare designation confirmed in our sources.

Their lower-numbered sibling prints — 090/096 and 066/070 — sit within each set’s normal numbering range, a different print position from the secret-rare slot. We haven’t independently reconfirmed the exact rarity tier of either sibling print for this guide, so we’re not naming a rarity for them here; what’s certain is that they occupy a different, non-secret-rare position in the set’s numbering than the two anchor SRs.
