BOOSTER PACK –The World’s Strongest Warriors– [OP-17] has 10 Super Rares and 2 Secret Rares among its numbered cards, spanning Whitebeard, Shanks, two different Kaidos, Big Mom, and the leader of the Rocks Pirates. Several of these SRs also have comic-art manga parallels, and Kaido has the “Baki” Kaido illustrated by Keisuke Itagaki.
This guide walks through the official card database entry for each SR and SEC one by one — full effect text, what it does on the table, and every hosted image of the base card and its parallel. The sealed OP-17 booster box (Japanese) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) is currently listed at ¥12,505 (~$81) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) and ships from Tokyo.
OP-17 carries 10 Super Rares and 2 Secret Rares among its 119 numbered cards, plus 39 parallel/alternate-art versions and 11 reprint SP inserts from earlier sets. Four SRs have comic (manga) parallels — Whitebeard, Shanks, Kaido, and Big Mom — and Kaido alone has a third version, the “Baki” Kaido illustrated by Keisuke Itagaki. We don’t list OP-17 singles individually; every card in this article is listed in the official OP-17 product database and comes from the sealed OP-17 booster box, currently listed at ¥12,505 (~$81) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). The full checklist is on our OP-17 card list page.
- The lowest SNKRDUNK asking prices in this guide are the ones shown on September 29, 2026; they are asking prices, not sold prices.
- The sealed OP-17 Japanese booster box is currently listed at ¥12,505 (~$81) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
- The OP-16 box and the OP-16 damaged box are sold out at the time of this update — restock requests go through Quick Order.
- The English edition of OP-17 released on August 28, 2026 ($4.99 MSRP per pack); every card here is also on our OP-17 card list page.

Whitebeard, Shanks & Yasopp
OP17-005 Edward.Newgate (SR)
Red · Cost 10 / Power 12000 · The Four Emperors/Whitebeard Pirates
Official effect: “If your opponent has a Character with 10000 power or more, give this card in your hand −4 cost. [On Play] Your monocolored Leader’s base power becomes 8000 until the end of your opponent’s next End Phase.”
In plain terms: this SR Whitebeard gets cheaper to play — down to Cost 6 — once your opponent has fielded a Character with 10000 power or more, and once it lands it can temporarily lock a monocolored Leader’s base power at 8000 for the rest of that turn cycle.
OP17-022 Shanks (SR)
Green · Cost 10 / Power 12000 · The Four Emperors/Red-Haired Pirates
Official effect: “[Rush] (This card can attack on the turn in which it is played.) [On Play] Set up to 2 of your DON!! cards as active. Then, rest all of your opponent’s Characters.”
Shanks can attack the same turn it’s played, and its On Play effect refreshes up to 2 of your own DON!! cards while resting every Character your opponent controls — clearing blockers before it swings.
OP17-031 Yasopp (SR)
Green · Cost 5 / Power 6000 / Counter 1000 · Red-Haired Pirates
Official effect: “[On Play] Draw 1 card and rest up to 1 of your opponent’s Characters with a cost of 8 or less. [End of Your Turn] Set up to 1 of your Characters with a type including “Red-Haired Pirates” as active.”
Yasopp draws a card and taps down a mid-cost opponent Character on play, then at the end of the turn it can stand a Red-Haired Pirates Character of yours back up — useful for keeping an attacker or blocker ready.
See our Shanks card guide for Shanks across every set, and our Whitebeard card guide for Whitebeard’s cross-set appearances.
Gloriosa & Shiki: The Rocks Pirates SRs
OP17-046 Gloriosa (SR)
Blue · Cost 4 / Power 1000 · Amazon Lily/Rocks Pirates
Official effect: “[Blocker] (After your opponent declares an attack, you may rest this card to make it the new target of the attack.) [On Play] Place up to 1 Character with a cost of 5 or less at the bottom of the owner’s deck.”
Gloriosa has low printed power but comes with Blocker, so it can step in front of an attack, and its On Play effect can send a low-cost Character — opponent’s or your own — to the bottom of its owner’s deck.
OP17-048 Shiki (SR)
Blue · Cost 7 / Power 9000 · Rocks Pirates
Official effect: “[Rush: Character] [When Attacking]/[On Your Opponent’s Attack] [Once Per Turn] You may trash 1 card with a type including “Rocks Pirates” from your hand: Give up to 1 of your opponent’s Characters −3000 power during this turn.”
Shiki gets Rush on Characters and, once per turn, can trash a Rocks Pirates card from hand to drop an opposing Character’s power by 3000 — usable both on your attack and on your opponent’s.
Both cards carry the Rocks Pirates trait tied to the set’s Blue leader, Rocks.D.Xebec — covered in the Secret Rares section below and in our dedicated Rocks D. Xebec card guide.
The Two Kaido SRs
Kaido is the only character with two distinct SR entries at card numbers OP17-062 and OP17-063, each with its own art and effect — plus OP17-062 alone carries a third illustrated version (see the manga parallels section below).
OP17-062 Kaido (SR)
Purple · Cost 10 / Power 12000 · The Four Emperors/Animal Kingdom Pirates
Official effect: “[Blocker] [Your Turn] [Once Per Turn] When a DON!! card on your field is returned to your DON!! deck, add up to 1 DON!! card as active from your DON!! deck. Then, set up to 1 of your DON!! cards as active.”
This Kaido is a Blocker that also replenishes DON!! resources: on your turn, once per turn, whenever a DON!! card returns from your field to your DON!! deck it can pull a fresh active DON!! card back out and ready one more of your existing DON!! cards.
OP17-063 Kaido (SR)
Purple · Cost 10 / Power 12000 · The Four Emperors/Animal Kingdom Pirates
Official effect: “All Character cards in your hand without a Counter have a +1000 Counter. [Activate: Main] [Once Per Turn] DON!! −1: If this Character was played on this turn, negate the effect of up to 1 of your opponent’s Characters with a cost of 6 or less during this turn, and K.O. it.”
This version gives every Counter-less Character in your hand a passive +1000 Counter, and if it was played this turn, spending one DON!! lets it negate and K.O. an opponent’s Character costing 6 or less.
Kaido’s other appearances across the wider card pool are covered in our Kaido card guide.
Usopp & Luffy: Elbaf’s Straw Hats
OP17-080 Usopp (SR)
Black · Cost 2 / Power 2000 / Counter 1000 · Elbaph/Straw Hat Crew
Official effect: “If there is a Character with a cost of 12 or more, this Character gains +3000 power. [On Play] Look at 3 cards from the top of your deck; reveal up to 1 {Elbaph} type card and add it to your hand. Then, trash the rest.”
Usopp is a cheap 2-cost card that jumps to 5000 power whenever a Character with cost 12 or more is in play, and its On Play digs 3 cards deep for an Elbaph-type card to add to hand.
OP17-093 Monkey.D.Luffy (SR)
Black · Cost 8 / Power 8000 · Elbaph/The Four Emperors/Straw Hat Crew
Official effect: “If there is a Character with a cost of 12 or more, this Character gains [Rush]. [On Play] Draw 1 card and play up to 1 Character card with a cost of 2 or less from your trash.”
Luffy gains Rush — the ability to attack the turn it’s played — whenever a Character costing 12 or more is on the board, and its On Play draws a card while replaying a cheap Character straight out of the trash.
Both cards share the {Elbaph} type with the Cost 12+ payoff, pointing at the set’s Elbaf-arc leader line, Monkey.D.Luffy (OP17-079, L), which carries a Super Leader Parallel and the Pirate Crew Super Parallel — covered in our OP-17 leader cards guide.
Usopp’s cross-set card history is in our Usopp card guide.
Charlotte Linlin
OP17-112 Charlotte Linlin (SR) · Yellow · Cost 10 / Power 12000 · The Four Emperors/Big Mom Pirates
Official effect: “[Your Turn] The base power of all of your Characters with a [Trigger] and 4000 base power becomes 8000. [On Play] Draw 1 card, then choose one: • Add up to 1 card from the top of your deck to the top of your Life cards. • Add up to 1 card from the top of your opponent’s Life cards to the owner’s hand.”
On your turn, every one of your Characters that has both a [Trigger] and 4000 base power doubles to 8000. Its On Play draws a card, then lets you choose between padding your own Life cards from the top of your deck or pulling a card from your opponent’s Life pile back into their hand.
Linlin is the Yellow leader’s namesake character (OP17-099, L, Charlotte Linlin) and closes out the SR lineup before the two Secret Rares.
The Two Secret Rares
OP-17 has exactly two Secret Rares in the official database: the Blue Rocks Pirates leader-adjacent Rocks.D.Xebec and the Black Giant Loki. Both sit at the top of the numbered card list, OP17-118 and OP17-119.
OP17-118 Rocks.D.Xebec (SEC)
Blue · Cost 10 / Power 12000 · Rocks Pirates
Official effect: “If you only have Characters without a Counter, this card in your hand has a +2000 Counter. [On Play] Draw 1 card and play up to 2 {Rocks Pirates} type cards with different card names and a total cost of 9 or less from your hand.”
Rocks D. Xebec gets an emergency +2000 Counter in hand when your board has no Counter-capable Characters, and on play it draws a card and can deploy up to 2 different-named Rocks Pirates cards totaling 9 cost or less straight from hand.
This SEC depicts the same character as the set’s Blue leader, OP17-039, on a separate Character card. The Pirate Crew Super Parallel OP17-118_p2 is covered under Manga Parallels and Market Snapshot below. The lowest asking price on SNKRDUNK on September 29, 2026 was ¥2,000 (~$13) for the base OP17-118, ¥3,650 (~$24) for the _p1 parallel, and ¥436,000 (~$2,831) for the _p2 Pirate Crew Super Parallel — asking prices, not sold prices. See our Rocks D. Xebec card guide for more.
OP17-119 Loki (SEC)
Black · Cost 6 / Power 8000 · Giant/Elbaph
Official effect: “This Character gains +12 cost, and if it is your opponent’s turn, this Character gains +3000 power. [On Play] K.O. your opponent’s Characters with a total cost of 4 or less.”
Loki’s printed Cost 6 effectively becomes Cost 18 through its own +12 cost bonus, and it gains an extra 3000 power specifically on your opponent’s turn. Its On Play is a board wipe against small Characters: it K.O.’s any of your opponent’s Characters with a combined cost of 4 or less.
The lowest asking price on SNKRDUNK on September 29, 2026 was ¥1,980 (~$13) for the base OP17-119 Loki and ¥3,200 (~$21) for the OP17-119_p1 alternate-art parallel. See our Loki card guide for more.
We don’t list OP-17 singles individually — if you’re after a specific SR or SEC, request a quote via our Quick Order page.
Manga Parallels and the Baki Kaido
Four SR characters in OP-17 have a comic (manga) art parallel — a version drawn in the style of the One Piece manga rather than the game’s standard illustration — per the official card database’s _p2 entries: Edward.Newgate (OP17-005_p2), Shanks (OP17-022_p2), Kaido (OP17-062_p2), and Charlotte Linlin (OP17-112_p2). Kaido is the only one of the four with a further third version, OP17-062_p3, illustrated by manga artist Keisuke Itagaki — officially referred to as the “Baki” Kaido.
The lowest asking prices on SNKRDUNK on September 29, 2026 for the comic parallels were ¥75,000 (~$487) for Whitebeard OP17-005_p2 (listed there as Edward Newgate), ¥140,000 (~$909) for Shanks OP17-022_p2, ¥65,000 (~$422) for Kaido OP17-062_p2, and ¥88,000 (~$571) for Charlotte Linlin OP17-112_p2 — asking prices, not sold prices. No current SNKRDUNK figure for the OP17-062_p3 "Baki" Kaido is in this update.
For the full lineup of comic/manga-style parallels across OP-17, see our sibling OP-17 manga rare parallel cards guide. The SP-card reprint inserts riding along in OP-17 packs (Luffy, Shanks, Buggy, and more from earlier sets) are covered in our OP-17 SP cards guide.
