Japan’s Pokemon Center stores attach a “regional Pikachu” promo card to store openings and renewals, and the names collectors use for them — Tohoku’s Pikachu, Kanazawa’s Pikachu, Shibuya’s Pikachu — are not always official set names. This hub lists every one of these cards we can confirm against the official Pokemon card database, with its number, illustrator where the database credits one, and whether a graded PSA 10 copy is currently listed on our site.
The official database lists 12 regional promo entries by card name, campaign, and region. Some region names widely discussed by collectors — Osaka, Nagoya, a Kyoto-named “Pikachu” card, Skytree, and Okinawa — are not in the database. Those are listed separately below as not confirmed by an official source.
12 entries covering 16 card numbers are confirmed in the official database across the SV-P, S-P, SM-P, and XY-P promo lines. Four have a graded PSA 10 copy currently available on our site, from ¥24,565 (~$160) for Fukuoka’s Pikachu up to ¥291,284 (~$1,891) for Sakura Afro Pikachu. Osaka, Nagoya, a Kyoto-named card, Skytree, and Okinawa Pikachu promos are not in the database and are not confirmed.

What This List Covers
The official Pokemon card database lists a collection number for each card below and, for most cards, an illustrator — it does not credit a rarity, a distribution date, or a distribution mechanic. Where the database states a campaign or product name attached to the card, that title is given below as the “distribution note.” No purchase thresholds, one-per-customer rules, or specific distribution dates are stated in the database, so none are claimed here.

The two “Tohoku’s Pikachu” cards — the SV-P era 260/SV-P and the SM era 088/SM-P — share the same Japanese name and illustrator (Kouki Saitou) but are separate cards from separate campaigns; they should not be merged. The four Yokohama prints (280–283/SM-P) are four separate database entries that share the campaign title 「潮風にのって」キャンペーン, all illustrated by Saya Tsuruta.
Kanazawa: With Mark vs No Mark
Kanazawa’s Pikachu has two numbers listed under a single database product entry — 144/S-P and 147/S-P — both credited to Fuzichoco with identical card text. The database itself does not state which number carries the logo. Checking the card images directly shows the difference: 144/S-P carries a round Pokemon Center KANAZAWA emblem printed into the artwork (featuring Pikachu and a second Pokemon), while 147/S-P has no such logo and is otherwise the same artwork.

What’s Not Verified
Region names sometimes discussed alongside this group — an Osaka Pikachu, a Nagoya Pikachu, a Kyoto-named “Pikachu” card (distinct from the Kyoto-linked Tea Party Pikachu above, which is catalogued under a different name), a Tokyo Skytree Pikachu, and an Okinawa Pikachu — are not in the official database. None of these are confirmed against the official database, and none are listed on our site.
