S-P is the Sword & Shield-era Japanese promo numbering line, and 002/S-P is Shibuya’s Pikachu’s position within it. Unlike a numbered booster set, S-P promos aren’t pulled from packs — they’re distributed directly at events, store openings, and other promotions, so there’s no set size or pack structure to describe here.

Shibuya’s Pikachu was given away at Pokemon Center Shibuya to mark the store’s opening on 22 November 2019. Per Bulbapedia, the same promotion also distributed the card at other Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations around the same time, so it wasn’t limited to foot traffic through the Shibuya store alone.

Yokohama’s Pikachu and Sapporo Pikachu carry SM-P numbers instead, placing them in the earlier Sun & Moon-era promo line, while Mega Tokyo Pikachu’s XY-P 098 number goes back further still, to the XY era. Shibuya’s Pikachu doesn’t sit anywhere on that ladder, because it was never packed into boosters in the first place — it’s a holofoil promo distributed directly to visitors, so its scarcity comes from the reach of the original giveaway rather than from a printed rarity slot.
