The official 30th Celebration product page highlights eight legendary Pokemon under the banner “the legendary Pokemon you met on past adventures return as cards” — and Reshiram is one of them, slotted at 008/103 right beside its eternal counterpart Zekrom. The set’s full official card database lists more than twenty Legendary and Mythical Pokemon in total, so the eight on the product page are a highlight reel, not the complete legendary count.
The Vast White Pokemon has a long anniversary pedigree in the Japanese TCG. It headlined a 25th Anniversary Collection promo in 2021, shared a tag-team GX with Zekrom in the Sun & Moon era, and now returns in M6a — the Japanese 30th Celebration set that released worldwide on 16 September 2026. This guide collects everything now confirmed about Reshiram 008/103, including its illustrator and full card text from the official card database published September 9, 2026, flags what is still aggregator-reported rather than official, and looks at how earlier anniversary Reshiram cards are priced on the graded market right now.
We ship Japanese sealed product and PSA-graded singles out of Tokyo daily, so the store prices quoted below are live listings, not estimates. Currency conversions use ¥159/USD for figures carried over from this article’s original publication, and ¥154/USD for new September 16, 2026 figures, unless a live listing gives its own.
Reshiram 008/103 is a confirmed card in the base numbering of M6a 30th Celebration (¥360 per pack, released 16 September 2026), now listed in the official card database with illustrator Uta and HP 130. Its printed rarity symbol still isn’t shown by the official database (which gives number and illustrator only, not rarity), and no price prediction has been published for it — the hit-card lists skip straight past it. The M6a 30th Celebration Booster Box is currently listed as a pre-order at ¥25,000 (Sealed) — the No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update. Our graded 25th Anniversary Reshiram (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) is sold out at the time of this update. Our Reshiram & Zekrom GX (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) single is currently listed at ¥17,472 (~$113).
- M6a 30th Celebration released worldwide on September 16, 2026; Reshiram 008/103’s card facts (illustrator Uta, HP 130) are unchanged from the September 9, 2026 official card list.
- Store state: PSA10 Reshiram & Zekrom GX 036/049 RR is currently listed at ¥17,472 (~$113); the M6a box’s No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update.
- The sealed M6a box’s lowest SNKRDUNK asking price reached ¥17,500 on release day — still no per-card prediction exists for Reshiram 008/103 itself.

Reshiram 008/103: What Is Confirmed

The card’s identity is now settled by the official card database itself, published September 9, 2026: 008/103 Reshiram, illustrated by Uta. That matches the earlier cross-reference from the official 30th anniversary site’s image filename (m6a_008), Bulbapedia’s set table, and Japanese card-list aggregator snkrdunk (list updated 29 August 2026).
That makes Reshiram one of the earlier slots in the set’s 103-card base numbering — the block that runs from 001 to 103 before the secret rares take over. It is a new card, not one of the 30 special-specification historic reprints: all 30 confirmed reprint numbers (136–165, including Pikachu 136, Charizard 137, Lugia 142, Dark Tyranitar 144, Pikachu & Zekrom GX 160, Magikarp 165) sit above the base numbering.
That distinction matters for one practical reason. The official page states — twice — that the special-specification reprint cards cannot be used in the current Standard regulation. That restriction is written specifically about the reprints; Reshiram 008/103 sits inside the normal base set numbering, which the page does not flag with any such note.
Card Text, HP and Rarity — Verified vs Reported
Here is the full picture of what each source says, kept strictly separated by reliability:
| Detail | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Card number 008/103 & illustrator (Uta) | Confirmed | Official card database, 9 Sept 2026 |
| Appears in the legendary feature block | Confirmed | Official product page |
| Attack text (below) | Confirmed | PokeBeach’s translation of the official card text, 9 Sept 2026 |
| HP 130 | Confirmed | PokeBeach’s translation of the official card text, 9 Sept 2026 |
| Rarity symbol | Unverified | The official card database lists number and illustrator only, not rarity; TCGScreener’s English-equivalent listing shows a plain Rare, unofficial |
The attack text, per PokeBeach’s translation of the official card, gives Reshiram two moves. Slash deals a flat 50 damage. Laser Flame deals 80-plus: if this Pokemon has Lightning Energy attached, it does 80 more damage. Reshiram’s Weakness is Water ×2, with a Retreat cost of 2.
Read that second attack again — a Fire-type legendary whose damage doubles when it carries Lightning Energy. Given that Zekrom, the Lightning-type half of the Unova pair, sits 42 slots away in the same set, the design reads as a deliberate nod to running the two dragons together. We treat that reading as interpretation, not fact, but the printed energy condition itself comes straight from the official card text.
One thing still isn’t shown: no source we checked, including the official card database, shows a printed rarity symbol for 008/103. TCGScreener lists the English equivalent as a plain Rare, but for the Japanese card the rarity remains unverified as of September 16, 2026 — the database’s own card-detail pages give number and illustrator only.
The Zekrom Pairing and the Legendary Lineup

The official legendary feature highlights eight Pokemon: Ho-Oh, Lugia, Groudon, Kyogre, Reshiram, Zekrom, Zacian and Zamazenta. Reshiram and Zekrom are the only generational pair from Unova in that highlighted set, continuing a mirror act the two have kept up since Black & White in 2011. Beyond that highlighted eight, though, the official card database’s full Legendary and Mythical roster for M6a runs well past twenty — among them Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Palkia, Mewtwo, Mew, Xerneas, the Cosmog line, Koraidon, Yveltal, Jirachi ex, Dialga and Solgaleo, plus Ho-Oh, Lugia, Groudon, Kyogre, Reshiram, Zekrom, Zacian and Zamazenta themselves — so “eight legendaries” describes the product page’s feature block, not the set’s full legendary count.
Zekrom lands at 050/103, illustrated by akagi per the official card database, and per the same database it shares the identical 50-damage Slash attack, plus its own 80-plus second attack — a clean structural mirror of Reshiram’s moveset. We cover that card’s full details in our separate Zekrom 30th Celebration card guide.
For the rest of the block, our Ho-Oh 007/103 guide covers the card that sits one slot before Reshiram, and the wider Pokemon 30th anniversary cards guide maps the whole celebration line-up — sets, promos and boxes — in one place.

Value Outlook: What Anniversary Reshiram Cards Trade At
Here is the honest answer on 008/103 itself: no price prediction exists for it. snkrdunk’s 29 August prediction list covers the FUR, SAR, AR and reprint chase cards, and Reshiram 008/103 does not appear anywhere on it. Separately, one real dated figure exists for the sealed box these cards are pulled from: on SNKRDUNK the lowest asking price for a sealed M6a box fell from ¥47,200 on September 1 to ¥28,200 on September 10 and ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026 (99+ listings) — still about 2.4× the ¥7,200 MSRP, as release-day listings multiplied. That figure is a live ask for the sealed box, not a per-card price for Reshiram 008/103.
What we can speak to is Reshiram’s anniversary track record, using its two closest predecessors:
| Card | Era | Grade | Current status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reshiram 020/025 PROMO (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) | 25th Anniversary Collection (2021) | PSA10 | Sold out — Quick Order |
| Reshiram & Zekrom GX 036/049 RR (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) | Dream League (SM11b era) | PSA10 | ¥17,472 (~$113) |
| Reshiram 008/103 | 30th Celebration (2026) | — | Released Sept 16, 2026; no prediction published |
(update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)The 25th Anniversary Reshiram is still the most instructive comparison, even sold out right now. It was also a non-chase legendary inside an anniversary product — a promo-pack card rather than the set’s headline hit — and it’s the kind of card 008/103 is most comparable to in role. Restock requests for the 25th Anniversary Reshiram (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) go through Quick Order; the Reshiram & Zekrom GX (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) single is currently listed. Our S8a 25th Anniversary pull rates and best cards guide breaks down how that whole 2021 set performed.
(update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)If the Lightning-synergy reading above appeals to you, the tag-team era already did it literally: Reshiram & Zekrom GX (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) puts both dragons on one card — graded, and currently listed at ¥17,472 (~$113).

Frequently Asked Questions
What rarity is Reshiram 008/103 in 30th Celebration?
Still unverified as of September 16, 2026. The official card database’s detail pages list number and illustrator only, not rarity. Is Reshiram 008/103 one of the 30th Celebration reprints?
No. It is a new card inside the base 001–103 numbering. All 30 special-specification historic reprints occupy the secret-rare range, numbered 136 to 165, and those reprints are the cards the official page says cannot be used in the current Standard regulation.
What are Reshiram 008/103’s attacks?
Per PokeBeach’s translation of the official card text (September 9, 2026): Slash for 50 damage, and Laser Flame for 80-plus — it does 80 more damage if the Pokemon has Lightning Energy attached. HP is confirmed at 130, with Weakness Water ×2 and Retreat cost 2.
How much is Reshiram 008/103 worth?
Nobody knows — no prediction list includes this card, and no dated figure has been published for it since release. The published unofficial predictions cover only the chase cards (FUR, SAR, AR and reprints). Separately, the sealed M6a box’s lowest SNKRDUNK asking price was ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026, down from ¥28,200 on September 10 and ¥47,200 on September 1 — a live listing for the box, not a per-card price. Our comparable graded 25th Anniversary Reshiram 020/025 is sold out at the time of this update; our Reshiram & Zekrom GX single is currently listed at ¥17,472 (~$113).
When did 30th Celebration release?
30th Celebration released 16 September 2026, as a simultaneous worldwide release. Packs carry a ¥360 tax-in MSRP with six foil cards each, and a 20-pack box is ¥7,200 at MSRP. In Japan, Pokemon Center Online sold the box by lottery, with the application window running 28–31 August 2026 and results announced September 4; overseas buyers use retailers and pre-orders like ours (M6a box currently listed as a pre-order at ¥25,000, Sealed — the No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update).
