MC #12 and the Erika’s Tangela deck prints
MC #12 reuses Yoriyuki Ikegami’s SV5a artwork as a Start Deck 100 reprint, still mapping to Twilight Masquerade #1 on the English side.
MC #14 and #743, by contrast, are a different card entirely: Erika’s Tangela, a Trainer’s-Pokemon deck card tied to the character Erika. #14 is illustrated by GIDORA and #743 is an alternate print illustrated by buchi, and both map to Ascended Heroes (ASC #218/#7) on the English side.
If your card is titled “Erika’s Tangela” rather than plain “Tangela,” it’s MC #14 or #743 — a Trainer’s-Pokemon deck print, not one of the eight plain Tangela prints listed in the table above.
The Mega Era Return: M1S
The most recent print we’ve verified is M1S #1, illustrated by Yuriko Akase, corresponding to Mega Evolution (MEG #6) on the English side. It’s Tangela’s entry into the current Mega-era block, and — like every other print outside the S12 anchor — it isn’t tied to a box we currently list.
