The product gallery on pokemon.com names promo cards for the Elite Trainer Box, the Pokémon Center ETB, the Premium Poster Collection, the First Partners Deluxe Pin Collection, the Mega ex Boxes and the Tin, and the set page gives only a size: “Over 290 cards”. Each named card is matched below to the Japanese prints of the same Pokémon, in M2a MEGA Dream ex and in MEGA Start Deck 100 Battle Collection.

No official source ranks Ascended Heroes cards or states pull rates, and none says an English card equals a Japanese card. The English promos named officially are N’s Zekrom, Mega Lucario ex, Mega Gardevoir ex, Chikorita, Tepig, Totodile, Mega Meganium ex, Mega Emboar ex and Mega Feraligatr ex. The Japanese versions of the same Pokémon sit in M2a (numbers 129, 210, 226 and 228 of 193) and MC (numbers 018 to 763 of 742). One Japanese print from the table below is PSA 10 Mega Dragonite ex MUR [M2a 250/193], offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥54,488 (~$354).

Cards the Official Pages Name
Ascended Heroes launched in English on January 30, 2026. Its sealed products name a small group of promo cards, and those names are the firmest ground for any “chase” discussion, because each is printed on the official product page.

Promo card numbers are not printed on any of these pages, so this table names cards without numbering them. The Focused Fighters row is the only one that rests on a media report; the report’s $54.98 figure is a retailer price, not an MSRP.
The Japanese Versions, Pokémon by Pokémon

N’s Zekrom
The English Elite Trainer Box and Pokémon Center ETB both carry an N’s Zekrom promo. In Japan the Pokémon appears twice in M2a: card 129/193 and card 210/193, the second printed as AR. N’s Reshiram
The reported Focused Fighters collection lists an N’s Reshiram reprint. In M2a the Pokémon is card 128/193, next to N’s Zekrom’s 129, and it also appears in the Japanese set Battle Partners (SV9) as 109/100, printed as AR. Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex
Another reprint in the reported Focused Fighters collection. In the Japanese database, Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex is M2a 063/193 RR and M2a 237/193 SAR, and it also appears in the Japanese set Glory of Team Rocket (SV10) as 039/098 RR. Mega Hawlucha ex
Reported as both a jumbo card and a reprint in the Focused Fighters collection. In M2a the Pokémon appears three times: 094/193 RR, 229/193 MA and 239/193 SAR. The three prints share a Pokémon and differ in number and rarity code, which makes Mega Hawlucha ex a compact example of how one Pokémon fans out across the M2a numbering. The pattern is consistent: the higher-numbered print is the more heavily treated one, carrying a tier code such as MA, SAR or MUR, while the lower number is a regular or lower-tier card. The sources do not print the exact artwork differences, so the table stays with numbers and codes.
How M2a Numbering Works
M2a MEGA Dream ex is a Japanese high-class pack, released November 28, 2025 at ¥550 per pack with 10 cards per pack. Bulbapedia’s list of Japanese expansions records 193 cards in the main set and names Ascended Heroes as the closest English equivalent. That is Bulbapedia’s phrase, not an official statement.
The cards in the price table below run from 199 to 250, all above the printed total of 193. A number above the printed total, such as 226/193 or 250/193, marks a card outside the main set, which is the usual convention for secret-tier cards. This is an observable pattern in the listings rather than a single official rule, so it is described here as a pattern. Telling English and Japanese Prints Apart
Because the same Pokémon appears in both languages, a short checklist prevents mix-ups when buying singles.
- Card text: Japanese cards carry Japanese attack and rule text; English cards carry English.
- Number format: M2a cards print numbers over the 193 total, for example 237/193. English Ascended Heroes cards use a different numbering scheme.
- Slab label: a graded card’s label names its language and set. Compare the number on the label with the number on the card.
- Listing title: our PSA 10 titles print the set code and number, for example “[M2a 234/193]”. The set code identifies the Japanese print.
