Two Futuristic Rares exist in the whole of 30th CELEBRATION, and one of them is Mew.
Mew ex 135/103 carries the set’s FUR (Futuristic Rare) treatment, an ability that lets it borrow every attack sitting on your Bench, and — now that the set has released — a real, dated SNKRDUNK market ask that landed far below the pre-release predictions, level with the set’s Mewtwo ex FUR. It also has a quieter twin: the same card in a regular RR printing without the FUR treatment, listed in the official card database.
Mew ex FUR 135/103 is one of only two Futuristic Rares in 30th CELEBRATION (M6a), illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN, released September 16, 2026 at ¥360/pack. It is compiled from official promotional images, not yet an official database entry. Its ability lets it use every attack on your Bench Pokemon. The lowest SNKRDUNK release-day ask for Mew ex FUR was ¥22,222 (September 16, 2026) — well below the ¥150,000+ pre-release forecast. Every yen figure below other than the ¥360 pack price, the ¥7,200 box price, our own live pre-order price, and the dated SNKRDUNK release-day asks noted throughout is an unofficial pre-release prediction — our M6a Booster Box pre-order is listed at Sealed ¥25,000; the No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update, and our PSA10 Mew ex SAR (SV4a 347/190) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) is sold out at the time of this update.
- M6a 30th CELEBRATION released worldwide on September 16, 2026; Mew ex FUR 135/103 and the rest of the AR/SAR/FUR block remain compiled from official promotional images, not official database entries.
- Release-day SNKRDUNK asks: Mew ex FUR ¥22,222 (46 listings), Mewtwo ex FUR ¥17,999 (68 listings) — both well below the ¥150,000+ pre-release forecast (snkrdunk, August 29 / September 9, 2026).
- SAR Mew ex 129/103, previously not shown, surfaced in release-day listings (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026); its lowest ask was ¥9,300.
- Store: our M6a box Sealed ¥25,000 is still listed, No Shrink is sold out; PSA10 Mew VMAX 280/184 UR is now ¥26,397; PSA10 Mew Mirror 002/028 is ¥8,711; PSA10 Mew ex SAR 347/190 and Mew ex 208/165 UR remain sold out.
- Full card list: every card of the set with its official image, in number order — 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) card list (all 173 cards).
- Confirmed: the five secret rares that had never been pictured — Kommo-o AR 119, Ditto AR 121, Mewtwo ex SAR 128, Mew ex SAR 129, Gengar ex SAR 131 — surfaced at exactly the numbers PokeBeach had projected, with release-day listings (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026); the compiled 165-card structure held.
- Confirmed: the “RGB Mew” — three secret Mew cards (R/RGB, G/RGB, B/RGB, by YOSHIROTTEN, outside the /103 run) were pulled from early-opened products and surfaced in a Pokémon TCG Live update on September 15, per PokeBeach; not in any official list, pull rate unknown.
- Overshot: pre-release forecasts of ¥105,000+ for Mew ex FUR met a lowest release-day ask of ¥22,222 on SNKRDUNK (an asking price, not a sold price).
Figures added in the September 16, 2026 update convert at ¥154/USD; older figures keep the rate stated when they were written. 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) released September 16, 2026. Dated SNKRDUNK release-day asks below are live marketplace listings, not confirmed sales; every other figure other than our own store listings is an unofficial pre-release prediction.
Mew ex FUR 135/103: The Card Itself
Mew ex 135/103 is one of two cards in 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) carrying the set’s FUR — Futuristic Rare — treatment. The Pokemon Company’s own product page names the illustrator directly: graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN, who also designed the set’s eight Basic Energy cards (officially credited to YOSHIROTTEN in the card database published September 9, 2026). As of September 16, 2026, 135/103 itself is still compiled from official promotional images rather than a database entry — unlike the main 001–103 set and the Classic Collection, which the database published on September 9. The regular, non-FUR version of the same card exists at 057/103 in RR rarity, listed in the official card database (covered below).

HP160, per PokeBeach’s translation of the regular 057/103 print; the FUR shares the card text. Also confirmed are the card’s ability and attack, both transcribed from the Japanese card text.
The Ability and Attack, Explained
Mew ex 135/103 carries the ability きおくのらせん (Memory Helix). In plain English: this Pokemon can use any attack listed on your Bench Pokemon, as if it were printed on Mew itself — you still need to attach the correct Energy for whichever attack you borrow. It’s a build-around ability, not a free hit; the card is only as strong as what’s sitting on your Bench.
Its own printed attack is Teleportation Burst, 30 damage, with the option to swap Mew back into your Bench afterwards if you choose to. Combined, that gives Mew ex both a flexible support role and a way to retreat into safety after using someone else’s attack.
| Card text | Effect |
|---|---|
| Ability: Memory Helix | Use any attack on your Bench Pokemon (Energy cost still applies) |
| Attack: Teleportation Burst — 30 | Optionally swap this Pokemon with a Bench Pokemon |
FUR: A Brand-New Rarity Tier
FUR (Futuristic Rare) is a rarity that didn’t exist before 30th CELEBRATION. The Pokemon Company describes it as artwork “evocative of hope toward an unknown future,” rendered in vivid colour and lighting. Only two cards in the entire set carry it: Mew ex 135/103 and Mewtwo ex 134/103, both illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN specifically for this set’s 30th-anniversary theme. Neither is in the official card database — the AR/SAR/FUR block (104–135) is still compiled from official promotional images, though all 32 cards in the block have now been seen as of release day (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026).
PokeBeach reported, from an official box opening shown before release, that a single 20-pack box contained exactly 1 FUR card — either the Mew ex or the Mewtwo ex, not both — alongside 20 of the 30 Pikachu, 2 Classic Collection cards, 4 AR and 1 SAR. The Pokémon Company has not published an official FUR pull rate, and one reported opening is not a rate; release-day openings are circulating online but none is a published pull rate, and this article does not quote them.
FUR isn’t Mew’s only secret-rare story in this set: per PokeBeach (report of September 12, 2026, updated September 15), three further secret Mew cards — R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB, illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN — were pulled from early-opened 30th Celebration products and surfaced in a Pokémon TCG Live update on September 15. They sit outside the /103 numbering and outside the official card database, and Pokemon has not officially acknowledged them (see our leaks-vs-release-day scorecard above for the full account).
Outside the main set, the FUR visual style also appears on two promo cards — Pikachu ex 131/M-P and 132/M-P from the separate FUTURISTIC BOX product — but those are a different release from the base M6a set and carry their own numbering.
We’ve written a longer explainer on how FUR compares to SAR, UR and MUR across recent Japanese sets in our FUR rarity guide, and covered the set’s other FUR card in our Mewtwo ex FUR 134/103 guide if you want the direct comparison.
The Quiet Twin: Mew ex RR 057/103
057/103 is the regular-art printing of the same Pokemon — same “Memory Helix” ability, RR rarity instead of FUR, no special foil treatment. It’s listed in the official card database, illustrated by aky CG Works. It’s the card to buy if you want the gameplay piece for a deck without paying for the chase-card artwork.

Pre-release aggregator predictions put 057/103 around ¥500 (unofficial) against a ¥150,000+ forecast for the FUR; the FUR’s actual lowest release-day ask was ¥22,222 (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026), though 057/103 itself has no dated release-day figure in our tracked sources.
Price Predictions vs. Release-Day Asks
30th CELEBRATION released September 16, 2026. Before release, the only source tracking predicted values for the FUR pair was the Japanese aggregator snkrdunk (updated 29 August 2026 and again 9 September 2026, unchanged) — both its 相場予想 (expected market price) and 買取予想 (expected buyback price) columns were estimates, not transactions. Real, dated release-day asks are now available on SNKRDUNK, and they came in well below those pre-release forecasts:
| Card | Pre-release forecast (snkrdunk, Aug 29 / Sept 9) | Release-day ask (SNKRDUNK, Sept 16) |
|---|---|---|
| Mew ex FUR 135/103 | ¥150,000∼ market / ¥105,000 buyback | ¥22,222 (46 listings) |
| Mewtwo ex FUR 134/103 | ¥150,000∼ market / ¥105,000 buyback | ¥17,999 (68 listings) |
| Mew ex RR 057/103 | ¥500∼ (unofficial) | no dated release-day figure in our tracked sources |
Both FUR cards were forecast at the same pre-release level, reflecting their shared design brief as a matched pair; their release-day asks turned out close but not identical (¥22,222 vs ¥17,999). Take the forecast figures as historical context only; snkrdunk’s own price-tracking page for the set showed “price updating” with no live data as of late August, and pre-release predictions on unreleased Japanese sets routinely moved once packs were actually opened, as this release showed.
For the sealed-box side of the same story: on SNKRDUNK the lowest asking price for a sealed M6a box fell from ¥47,200 on September 1 to ¥28,200 on September 10 and ¥17,500 on release day, September 16, 2026 — still about 2.4× the ¥7,200 MSRP, as listings multiplied into release. Our own M6a box pre-order is listed separately at Sealed ¥25,000 (~$162); the No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update.
Where 135/103 Sits Among Mew’s PSA10 Singles
Mew has been a consistent chase Pokemon across Japanese sets long before FUR existed. Here’s how three PSA10-graded Mew singles we normally carry compare, for context on where a graded 135/103 might eventually land now that the card is in hand and gradeable — one is currently listed, and two are sold out at the time of this update.

Two of these graded Mew singles — the SV4a Shiny Treasure ex SAR at psa10-787 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) and the UR-rarity Mew ex at 208/165 UR (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) — are sold out at the time of this update; restock requests for either go through Quick Order. The Mew VMAX at 280/184 UR (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) is currently listed at ¥26,397 (~$171) — a useful reference point for where a strong-but-not-set-topping graded Mew tends to sit.
There’s also an older reference point from Mew’s history with anniversary sets specifically: the mirror-holo Mew from the 25th Anniversary Collection.

(update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)
That 25th-anniversary Mew is the closest direct precedent for 135/103: a base-set parallel-finish Mew from the previous anniversary set, five years apart. Whether an anniversary-themed Mew reliably becomes a top-tier chase card is, historically, “not automatically” — our wider PSA10 collection is the place to check current Mew listings.
Release Date and What Is Still Unconfirmed
30th CELEBRATION (M6a) released in Japan on September 16, 2026, priced at ¥360 per pack (tax included), six holo-rarity cards guaranteed per pack, sold in 20-pack boxes at ¥7,200. Every pack also guarantees one of the 30 illustrator Pikachu cards and one YOSHIROTTEN-designed Basic Energy card. Pokemon Center Online’s first lottery application window for the box (28–31 August 2026) closed, with results announced September 4, 2026; the additional PCO window for the FUTURISTIC BOX and the Card Set (not the booster box) ran September 11, 16:00 JST – September 16, 16:59 JST (results due September 30), and the physical-store lottery closed September 11 (results September 14).
A few things about 135/103 specifically are genuinely unresolved, and we’re not going to fill the gaps with guesswork:
- Pull rate — the official page gives no ratio for FUR cards; PokeBeach’s reported box-opening structure (§ above) is one data point, not a published rate.
- Standard-tournament legality — the official reprint disclaimer on M6a applies to the set’s 30 historic reprint cards, not to Mew ex FUR, which is a new card; we haven’t seen legality stated either way for 135/103 specifically.
- SAR Mew ex (129/103) illustrator — the card itself surfaced in release-day listings (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026) with a ¥9,300 lowest ask, but its illustrator is unpublished, like the rest of the AR and SAR blocks (the two FUR cards are the exception, officially credited to YOSHIROTTEN).

Frequently Asked Questions
What rarity is Mew ex 135/103?
FUR (Futuristic Rare), a brand-new rarity introduced in 30th CELEBRATION (M6a). Only two cards in the set carry it: Mew ex 135/103 and Mewtwo ex 134/103, both illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN. Neither is in the official card database as of September 16, 2026 — both are compiled from official promotional images, though all 32 secret rares in the block have now been seen.
What does Mew ex FUR’s ability do?
Its ability, translated as “Memory Helix,” lets it use any attack printed on your Bench Pokemon, as long as you attach the correct Energy for that attack. Its own printed attack, Teleportation Burst, does 30 damage and lets you optionally swap it into your Bench afterwards.
Is there a cheaper version of this card?
Yes. 057/103 is the same Mew ex with the same ability in a regular RR printing, no FUR foil, listed in the official card database and illustrated by aky CG Works. Unofficial pre-release predictions put it around ¥500, versus a ¥150,000+ forecast for the FUR; the FUR’s actual lowest release-day ask was ¥22,222 (SNKRDUNK, September 16, 2026).
How much will Mew ex FUR 135/103 be worth?
The lowest release-day ask on SNKRDUNK was ¥22,222 (46 listings, September 16, 2026) — well below the pre-release snkrdunk forecast of ¥150,000+ (about $974) market and ¥105,000 (about $682) buyback (29 August 2026, unchanged as of 9 September). Release-day asks are live marketplace listings, not confirmed sales, and may continue to move.
When did 30th CELEBRATION release, and can I buy Mew ex FUR now?
The set released in Japan on September 16, 2026. 135/103 isn’t available as a single from us yet. Our M6a Booster Box is a live pre-order at Sealed ¥25,000 (~$162); the No Shrink option is sold out at the time of this update. Orders ship from Tokyo after release.
