30th CELEBRATION’s newest rarity, Futuristic Rare, has exactly two members: Mewtwo ex at 134/103 and Mew ex at 135/103, both illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN. Per Bill’s Archive, the Mewtwo ex printing carries straight across into the English set at the same rarity, as card #157/128.
30th CELEBRATION released worldwide on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with Japanese and English-language products releasing the same day. This guide covers what FUR 134 actually is, how it compares to its stated English counterpart 157/128, its dated market history, and where the Japanese printing sits on our site.
Mewtwo ex FUR 134/103, illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN, is one of only two Futuristic Rares in the set — a secret-rare pull from Japanese 30th CELEBRATION Booster Box packs. Per Bill’s Archive, it is the Japanese printing of English #157/128, keeping the same Futuristic Rare rarity name in both languages. The lowest SNKRDUNK asking price on September 18, 2026 was ¥10,499, down from ¥17,999 on release day. It is not currently listed as a graded PSA 10 on our site.
Store prices and availability checked September 25, 2026 at 13:48 JST. Marketplace observations retain their stated dates. USD conversions use ¥154 per US dollar.

What Is Futuristic Rare, and What Is 134/103?
Futuristic Rare (FUR) is a rarity created for 30th CELEBRATION, and the official 30th site describes its two members directly (our translation of the Japanese): “a card with a colourful, vivid visual evoking hope for an unknown future — FUR (Futuristic Rare) Mewtwo ex” and Mew ex, both illustrated by graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN, revealed at the set’s 30th-anniversary announcement. FUR 134/103 is the Mewtwo ex half of that pair — a secret-rare pull, not a guaranteed pack inclusion.
The regular main-set Mewtwo ex print, 055/103, is illustrated by 5ban Graphics and is the card the FUR treatment is based on. Like the rest of the 104–135 secret-rare block, FUR 134 itself is still not in the official card database; the credit to YOSHIROTTEN comes from the official 30th site, not the database, so no image of the FUR print itself is embedded here; the regular print below stands in for it.

Card Text: Photon Bullets and Psychic Powers
Mewtwo ex (055/103, SAR 128 and FUR 134 all share the same printed text) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon with 230 HP, weak to Darkness (×2), resistant to Fighting (−30), with a retreat cost of 2. Per PokeBeach’s translation:
| Attack | Effect |
|---|---|
| [P] Photon Bullets | 50 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokémon ex. (Weakness and Resistance are not applied for Benched Pokémon.) |
| [P][P][P] Psychic Powers | 230 damage. During your next turn, this Pokémon can’t use attacks. |
Like every Pokémon ex in the set, if this card is knocked out, the opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one.
The Set’s Only Other FUR: Mew ex 135/103
Futuristic Rare has exactly two cards in 30th CELEBRATION: Mewtwo ex at 134/103 and Mew ex at 135/103, both by YOSHIROTTEN. Mew ex’s regular main-set print is 057/103, illustrated by aky CG Works — a different illustrator from Mewtwo ex’s regular print, even though both secret-rare treatments share the same YOSHIROTTEN Futuristic Rare art style.

The two Futuristic Rares are the only cards in the set carrying that specific rarity — every other secret rare in 30th CELEBRATION is an Art Rare or Special Art Rare instead. For the numbering logic behind the whole 104–135 block, see our secret-rare numbering explainer, and for what the Futuristic Rare treatment is more generally, our FUR rarity guide. Our dedicated Mewtwo ex FUR card guide covers 134/103 on its own in more depth. See the full 30th Celebration card list.
The English Printing: #157/128
Bill’s Archive states the pairing plainly: Mewtwo ex FUR 134/103 and Mew ex FUR 135/103 are “#134/103 and #135/103 in Japanese against #157 and #158 in English.” Unlike the AR/SAR block, which Bill’s Archive groups into one broad English “Secret Rare” tier, the two Futuristic Rares keep the same rarity name across both languages — Bill’s Archive lists #157 and #158 separately as Futuristic Rares, not folded into the Secret Rare group.
The English 30th Celebration expansion released the same day as the Japanese set, worldwide, on September 16, 2026. The English printing is a pull from English-language 30th Celebration packs, sold inside the boxed products retailers in your region carry — it is not sold as an individual pack or single by Pokémon, and we do not sell it ourselves. We describe it here only to compare it with the Japanese printing we track.
Dated Market History
On SNKRDUNK, the lowest asking price for Mewtwo ex FUR 134 moved from ¥17,999 on release day, September 16, 2026, to ¥10,499 on September 18, 2026. These are seller asking prices on a resale marketplace, not sale prices, and no comparable dated figure is tracked here for the English printing.
