Monkey D. Luffy P-159 is the promo card that Bandai’s announcement of July 10, 2026 encloses in Weekly Shonen Jump No. 33, on sale Monday, July 13, 2026, and the official card database lists it as two rows: P-159 (the magazine appendix) and P-159_p1 (the all-applicants service). The announcement presents it as a specially designed card marking the 29th anniversary of ONE PIECE’s serialization.
Our product page sells the card as “Monkey D Luffy PROMO P-159 (No holo) Shonen Jump 2026 29th Anniversary Japanese ONE PIECE Card” in two options labelled 【Promo only】 and 【with magazine】. “No holo” is our listing’s wording; the official database prints neither “holo” nor “no holo” for either row.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
- The official database lists two P-159 rows. P-159 names the Weekly Shonen Jump No. 33 appendix (on sale July 13, 2026); P-159_p1 names the all-applicants service for the same appendix. Both print a red Character card with cost 4, power 5000, counter 2000 and rarity P.
- Bandai’s announcement describes a digital-edition all-applicants service (電子版応募者全員サービス) with a set of eight cards, deluxe and regular edition with four of each, for ¥1,210 (~$8) including tax, shipping and handling. Applications ran from July 6 to August 6, 2026, with a limit of three sets.

The English renderings of the Japanese card text and trait names are our own translation. The rarity is printed as P, and the database prints no other rarity for the number.
Two Database Rows: P-159 and P-159_p1
The database lists P-159 twice. The first row is the number itself and the second carries the suffix _p1. The source line (入手情報) is the field that separates them, and both lines give the same date.
| Row | Source line as printed | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| P-159 | 週刊少年ジャンプ33号付録（2026年7月13日売） | Appendix of Weekly Shonen Jump No. 33, on sale July 13, 2026 |
| P-159_p1 | 週刊少年ジャンプ33号付録応募者全員サービス（2026年7月13日売） | All-applicants service for the No. 33 appendix, dated July 13, 2026 |
Both rows link to the official promo card list. The database does not print what the suffix _p1 stands for.
The Source Issue: Weekly Shonen Jump No. 33
Weekly Shonen Jump’s official back-number data lists the issue as 2026 No. 33, on sale Monday, July 13, 2026, with a special list price of ¥340 (~$2) including tax and a digital edition also at ¥340 including tax. The entry prints the date and price and no further details of the issue’s contents.
Bandai’s announcement is a news item dated July 10, 2026 under the notices category, titled (Weekly Shonen Jump No. 33 appendix “Monkey D. Luffy”). (get a specially designed card commemorating the 29th anniversary of ONE PIECE’s serialization). The next line reads 7月13日(月)発売予定の『週刊少年ジャンプ33号』に新規プロモーションカード「モンキー・D・ルフィ」を封入 (a new promotional card, “Monkey D. Luffy”, is enclosed in Weekly Shonen Jump No. 33, scheduled for sale on Monday, July 13). Its card information line reads P-159 モンキー・D・ルフィ.
The announcement does not caption which image shows which version of the card. A separate information item dated July 10, 2026 is titled 『週刊少年ジャンプ』33月号 7月13日(月)発売！ (Weekly Shonen Jump 33 on sale Monday, July 13! Digital-edition all-applicants service also being held!). A later news item dated July 31, 2026, titled (check the newly appeared promo card information), links a card-list query that includes P-159.
The Digital-Edition All-Applicants Service: Deluxe and Regular Edition Set

| Distribution note | 本カードは海外エリアや別形態でも配布・販売される場合があります | This card may also be distributed or sold in overseas areas and in other forms |
The announcement calls the two cards in the set deluxe (豪華版) and regular (通常版); the database prints neither word for P-159 or P-159_p1.
Reading the Source Line: The ST21-014 Magazine Promo
A card number alone does not say where a card came from; the source line does, and a single number can carry several rows. ST21-014, another Monkey D. Luffy card, has three database rows, and only one of them names a magazine.
| Row | Source line as printed | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| ST21-014_p2 | ONE PIECE magazine 特集 週刊少年ジャンプとONE PIECE 020 付録 | Appendix of ONE PIECE magazine issue 020 |
All three ST21-014 rows print rarity SR, cost 5 and power 6000, against rarity P, cost 4 and power 5000 on the P-159 rows.
| Field | Database value (all three rows) | English rendering (our translation) |
|---|---|---|
| Number / rarity / type | ST21-014 | SR | CHARACTER | Character card, rarity code SR |
| Cost / power / counter | 5 / 6000 / – | 5; 6000; no counter value printed |
| [Rush] (This card can attack on the turn in which it is played.) [When Attacking] Give up to 1 rested DON!! card to your Leader or 1 of your Characters. |
Buyer Checklist: Matching a P-159 Listing to the Right Row
- Match the number. P-159 is the number and the suffix _p1 marks the second database row. Our listing names P-159 without the suffix.
- Check the price per option. See 【Promo only】 and 【with magazine】 on the product page.
Promo Only vs With Magazine: Our Two Options
The product page lists the card under the campaign “Shonen Jump 2026 29th Anniversary”, language Japanese, with the options 【Promo only】 and 【with magazine】.
| Option | Price |
|---|---|
| 【Promo only】 | ¥1,320 (~$9) |
| 【with magazine】 | ¥1,386 (~$9) |
The page’s condition notice reads: “This item is unused and is sold as an ungraded collectible. As a mass-produced and distributed promotional item, minor manufacturing or handling imperfections may be present, including light surface marks, print lines, slight edge or corner wear, or minor curvature.” It adds that “Unused” does not guarantee mint condition or eligibility for any particular PSA, BGS, CGC, or other grading result.
