ONE PIECE HEROINES Explained: Anime, Novels and One Piece Card Sets

The Novels: ONE PIECE novel HEROINES

Shueisha’s J BOOKS page for 『ONE PIECE novel HEROINES』 credits Jun Esaka (江坂純) as the author and Sayaka Suwa (諏訪さやか) as the illustrator, with Eiichiro Oda (尾田栄一郎) credited for the original work. The publisher imprint is JUMP j BOOKS, and the first book was released on June 4, 2021 (2021年6月4日発売).

The official description says the book collects a series that ran in ONE PIECE magazine and describes it as a short-story collection with female characters as the leads, written about their “being themselves” (〈自分らしさ〉). A second book titled 『ONE PIECE novel HEROINES [Colorful]』 is listed on the same J BOOKS page; only its title is on record.

These four heroines are the ones the novel puts in the lead. The card game has its own heroine line-up, and the two overlap only by character: Nami, Nico Robin, Vivi and Perona all appear in Heroines Edition card sets, but no official page ties the novel’s stories to any card.

The Anime: Cast, Slot and Streaming

The official one-piece.com news items on the anime, the newest dated June 25, 2026, were all published before the broadcast. As of October 6, 2026, the anime aired July 5, 2026 according to the official schedule, in a single 30-minute slot from 11:15 to 11:45 p.m. on the Fuji TV network. The official news names that one broadcast slot and Japanese streaming services.

Nami is the lead, and Robin is the only other Straw Hat heroine named for the anime. Vivi and Perona are stars of their own episodes in the novel, and no official page places them in the anime.

Streaming services named on the Japanese page

The June 25, 2026 news announced unlimited-viewing streaming from July 9, 2026, at 12:00 JST, with start times that differ by service. The ten services it names are FOD, Amazon Prime Video, U-NEXT, dアニメストア, アニメ放題, Lemino, DMM TV, ABEMA, Hulu and NETFLIX. These are the services printed on the Japanese page, and the page does not say that each carries the title outside Japan.

One name is spelled two ways on official pages: one-piece.com and the J BOOKS page print ルブノ for the anime’s second original character, while the shueisha.co.jp book page prints ルブロ. ルブノ is the spelling the anime pages use.

Heroines-Branded Products Around EB-05

Bandai’s Japanese and English product indexes list several items that carry the Heroines name without being booster sets. Each status is as of October 6, 2026.

Bandai does not describe any English item as the English version of the Precious Box, and the English site has no page for the Precious Box.

One related event also carries the name: Heroines CUP -3on3- is a three-player team tournament on November 7, 2026 (two venues) and November 29, 2026, where the playmat is sold in advance and EB-05 is sold at one box per person. The EB-05 release event page lists a participation prize of Promotion Pack Vol.10; its entry window, September 25 to October 4, 2026, has closed.

A Checklist for Reading the Names

The same word appears on a book cover, a TV schedule and a trading-card box. Five checks separate them in a listing, a news post or a search result.

1. The medium word. “novel” is the book, “Edition” is the card-game booster, “Box”, “Set” or “Collection” is a boxed product, and a bare “ONE PIECE HEROINES” with a broadcast date is the anime.
2. The set code. EB-03 is the first Heroines Edition and EB-05 is vol.2. EB-04 is Egghead Crisis, a different theme.
3. The region. The Precious Box and the Nami & Robin playmat are listed on the Japanese site only; the Gift Collection, Special Set and Limited Card Sleeve are listed on the English site only. That is a statement about where each is listed, not about where it was ever sold.
4. The release or delivery date. The Special Set’s delivery month is September 2026 and predates EB-05, and the Gift Collection is dated November 20, 2026, after it.
5. Anime links are reported. No Bandai page says that a card uses anime art; the link appears in media reports, with the outlet named.

Buying Heroines Items from Japan
