OP-04 Kingdoms of Intrigue is the One Piece Card Game set that put Sabo on the map — and it did it by borrowing a card from a completely different set to fill out its chase-pull lineup.
Released in Japan on May 27, 2023, OP-04 covers the Alabasta and Dressrosa arcs across 150 card types, headlined by six new Leaders and the game’s first Gear Fourth Bounce-Man Luffy card. It’s a Block 1 set now three years past its Japanese release, which means most of what people open it for today is the chase pull, not the tournament shelf.
This guide covers exactly what’s packed into an OP-04 box, which cards collectors are actually chasing, what’s currently listed on our site, and how the Japanese and English versions of the set compare. We ship Japanese sealed product and PSA-graded singles out of Tokyo, so the pricing below reflects what’s on our site right now.
OP-04 Kingdoms of Intrigue is 150 card types across 24 packs per box (144 cards, tax-included MSRP ¥5,940). The top chase is Sabo “Flame Emperor” OP04-083, a Manga Rare (Comic Parallel); a PSA 10 graded copy is currently listed at ¥198,072 (~$1,246). A regular sealed OP-04 box isn’t listed on our site today — what we do have is the Damaged Box, currently listed at ¥20,140 (~$127).
Prices below are our current listed prices as of September 2026, converted at ¥159/USD.

OP-04 covers the Alabasta Arc and Dressrosa Arc, and it’s a genuinely stacked set on the Leader side: six new Leaders debut here, including Rebecca (OP04-039), Doflamingo, Nefeltari Vivi and Queen. It’s also the set that introduced the game’s first Gear Fourth Bounce-Man Luffy card, a notable first for the Luffy card pool at the time.
OP-04 is a Block 1 set, and it rotated out of Standard tournament play in April 2026. That rotation isn’t absolute across the whole set, though — Sabo’s Manga Rare specifically retains permanent Block X legality, so that single card stays tournament-legal even though the rest of OP-04 has rotated out.
Chase Cards in OP-04 Kingdoms of Intrigue
Three names come up most often when collectors talk about what’s worth chasing out of an OP-04 box.
Sabo “Flame Emperor” — OP04-083

OP04-083 is the set’s top chase pull: a Manga Rare, sometimes referred to as a Comic Parallel, depicting Sabo’s Flame Emperor attack from the Dressrosa arc. It’s the card most people mean when they say “the OP-04 chase.”

A PSA 10 graded copy — listed on our site under the title SR-SP — is currently listed at ¥198,072 (~$1,246). There are other Sabo SR promo singles in our catalogue from separate distributions; they’re different cards from different releases, so if you’re specifically after the OP04-083 Manga Rare pull, the listing above is the one to check.
Boa Hancock — OP01-078

Boa Hancock OP01-078 is an SP rarity card, and the interesting part is that it isn’t originally an OP-04 print at all — it’s a cross-set “lottery” reprint from OP-01 Romance Dawn that turns up as a chase pull inside OP-04 packs. She’s one of five OP-01/OP-02 cards seeded into OP-04 this way, alongside Trafalgar Law (OP01-047), Edward Newgate, Sakazuki and Magellan. The PSA10 Trafalgar Law SR-SPC (OP01-047) is currently listed at ¥36,220 (~$228). Edward Newgate, Sakazuki and Magellan don’t appear in our catalogue at the moment; sourcing requests for them go through Quick Order.

Our own PSA 10 Boa Hancock listing is currently priced at ¥23,008 (~$145). It’s titled “Booster Pack ROMANCE DAWN” on our site because OP01-078 is originally an OP-01 print — that’s not a mislabel, it’s the same card that shows up as a cross-set pull in OP-04 boxes.
Rebecca — OP04-039

Rebecca’s Leader alternate art is the third card worth knowing about — she’s one of the six new Leaders OP-04 introduced, and this alternate-art printing of her card is a recognised chase within the set. The PSA10 Rebecca L-P (OP04-039) is currently listed at ¥16,520 (~$104). If you want to go deeper on Rebecca specifically, our Rebecca One Piece cards guide covers every printing of her, both Leader versions, and a documented OP04-064 mix-up worth knowing before you buy.
Regular Box vs Damaged Box on Our Site
A brand-new, undamaged OP-04 booster box isn’t listed on our site right now — sourcing requests for a regular box go through the Quick Order page. What we do have listed today is the Damaged Box variant: a sealed box with cosmetic damage to the outer packaging, priced accordingly.

| Listing | Price |
|---|---|
| OP-04 Kingdoms of Intrigue Japanese One Piece Booster Box — Damaged Box | currently listed at ¥20,140 (~$127) |
If you’re only after the sealed contents — 24 packs of the same 150-card pool described above — the Damaged Box gets you there. If a pristine outer box matters to you, flag a regular-box request through Quick Order and we’ll follow up when one is sourced.

Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in an OP-04 Kingdoms of Intrigue booster box?
A sealed OP-04 box has 24 packs of 6 cards each, 144 cards total, drawn from a 150-card set. It released in Japan on May 27, 2023 at a tax-included MSRP of ¥5,940.
What are the chase cards in OP-04?
The top chase is Sabo “Flame Emperor” OP04-083, a Manga Rare (Comic Parallel). OP-04 packs also carry a run of cross-set SP lottery reprints — including Boa Hancock OP01-078 — and Rebecca’s OP04-039 Leader alternate art.
Is the Boa Hancock card in OP-04 the same as her OP-01 print?
Yes. Boa Hancock OP01-078 is originally an OP-01 Romance Dawn print that also appears as one of five cross-set SP “lottery” pulls inside OP-04 packs, alongside Trafalgar Law (OP01-047), Edward Newgate, Sakazuki and Magellan. Our listing is titled “Booster Pack ROMANCE DAWN” for that reason, not because it’s mislabeled.
Is OP-04 still tournament legal?
OP-04 rotated out of Standard tournament play as a Block 1 set in April 2026. The stated exception is Sabo’s Manga Rare (OP04-083), which retains permanent Block X legality and remains tournament-legal.
Can I buy a regular (non-damaged) OP-04 booster box from Samurai Sword Tokyo?
Not at the moment — a regular sealed OP-04 box isn’t currently listed on our site. Our current OP-04 listing is the Damaged Box, priced at ¥20,140 (~$127). Regular-box sourcing requests go through Quick Order.
Is there a difference between the Japanese and English OP-04 sets?
No structural difference — Kingdoms of Intrigue is the same 150-card set in both languages. The Japanese version released May 27, 2023, and the English version followed about four months later on September 22, 2023.
