Delcatty 143/103 is not the card most people would guess belongs in a 30-card “greatest hits” block next to Pikachu, Charizard and Rayquaza EX — but that’s exactly where Pokemon put it. The original is a 2003 EX-era card noted as one of the earliest Poké-POWER draw engines, and the 30th CELEBRATION reprint brings it back with the original art and text intact.
M6a 30th CELEBRATION, including this Classic Collection reprint, released worldwide on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Delcatty 143/103 reprints the 2003 EX Ruby & Sapphire holo rare (#5/109) illustrated by Atsuko Nishida — the Energy Draw / Max Energy Source card, not the more common Sugimori-illustrated Delcatty from the same set. As a Classic Collection reprint it has no regulation mark and is not Standard-legal. The M6a 30th CELEBRATION booster box contains it.

What Is the Delcatty 143/103 Reprint?
Pokemon published the official card list for M6a 30th CELEBRATION on 9 September 2026, and it covers the main set (001–103), the Classic Collection (136–165) and the eight Basic Energy in full. Delcatty sits inside that confirmed Classic Collection block, at card number 143/103, JP name エネコロロ, illustrator Atsuko Nishida — both the card number and the illustrator credit are in the official pokemon-card.com database.

Like the other 29 cards in the 136–165 run, Delcatty has no regulation mark and is explicitly not usable under current Standard rules — it’s a display and collecting card, playable only in whichever legacy format the 2003 original is legal in. Two independent English-language checklist trackers (Bill’s Archive and thornberrymedia) that compile the equivalent English “30th Celebration” Ultra-Premium Collection both list this same card as slot 8 of 30 in their reprint run, matching our Japanese numbering.
The Original Print: EX Ruby & Sapphire Delcatty #5/109
The card being reprinted is Delcatty, EX Ruby & Sapphire (RS), #5/109, 2003 — a Rare Holo, illustrated by Atsuko Nishida. The 30th reprint’s official illustrator credit (Atsuko Nishida) matches the #5/109 Rare Holo, not the #29/109 Uncommon by Ken Sugimori.
EX Ruby & Sapphire also has a lower-rarity Delcatty at #29/109, Uncommon, illustrated by Ken Sugimori. That one is not the card reprinted at 143/103 — the Classic Collection reproduces the #5/109 Rare Holo by Atsuko Nishida.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Original set / number | EX Ruby & Sapphire (RS), #5/109 |
| Year | 2003 |
| Rarity | Rare Holo |
| Illustrator | Atsuko Nishida |
| Type / HP / Stage | Colorless / 70 / Stage 1 (evolves from Skitty) |
| Ability — Energy Draw | Once per turn before attacking, discard 1 Energy card from hand to draw up to 3 cards from your deck; can’t be used while Delcatty has a Special Condition |
| Attack — Max Energy Source (1 Colorless) | 10 damage × the total Energy attached to all of your Active Pokemon |
| Weakness / Resistance / Retreat | Fighting / None / 1 |
Energy Draw put Delcatty among the earliest Poke-POWER card-advantage engines of the EX era — discard one Energy, draw up to three cards, repeat every turn as long as the Energy supply held out. That kind of built-in card selection was still a novelty on a Stage 1 body in 2003. Delcatty was reprinted again later in EX Power Keepers with different artwork, and an exclusive non-holo version also appeared in the Dark Blast Theme Deck, so the character had staying power well beyond this one set. On the Japanese side, Bulbapedia’s printings data lists the original release as ADV Expansion Pack #045/055.

Why Delcatty Made the Classic Collection Cut
The Classic Collection block as a whole spans Base Set through the Scarlet & Violet era, and Delcatty is one of the entries representing the early-2000s EX era specifically, alongside other EX-era reprints in the same run like Scizor ex (145/103) and Metagross δ (146/103). As an early Poke-POWER draw engine with genuinely influential mechanics for its time, it’s a reasonable representative of that period even without headline chase-card status.
If you’re working through the wider Classic Collection block, our companion guides cover three more EX-and-later-era reprints from the same run: Scizor ex 145/103, Metagross δ 146/103, and Palkia LV.X 147/103. Our 30th anniversary reprints list rounds up the full Classic Collection.
Delcatty’s Market: Sealed Product and Dated Asks
143/103 itself has no dated marketplace figure.
As of 11 September 2026, SNKRDUNK, Japan’s TCG marketplace, showed no live ask for the original EX Ruby & Sapphire #5/109 print. It did show asks for later Delcatty reprints — none of them the same card as the 30th Celebration’s source — ranging from ¥1,500 (Sky-Splitting Charisma, SM7 076/096, 3 listings) up to ¥49,800 (Ginga’s Path, Pt1 076/096, 2 listings), with a 1st Edition version of that same Ginga’s Path print asking ¥8,000.
SNKRDUNK’s lowest ask on the M6a 20-pack box was ¥47,200 on September 1, ¥28,200 on September 10, ¥23,599 on September 11, and ¥17,500 on September 16, 2026 — asks, not sales.
