What Are the Key Facts for Yasopp in OP-17?

The key facts are one card: OP17-031, rarity SR, in the Japanese edition of OP-17. The table below uses the official OP17 card list and the official product page.

What Does the Yasopp OP17-031 Card Do?

Yasopp OP17-031 has two effects: an [On Play] that draws a card and rests an opposing Character, and an [End of Your Turn] that sets one of your Red-Haired Pirates Characters active. The official text reads as follows.

The [On Play] gives you a card the moment Yasopp enters play, and it rests one opposing Character with a cost of 8 or less at the same time. The [End of Your Turn] effect works on any of your Characters whose type includes Red-Haired Pirates. Yasopp itself has that type, so it can target itself.

Each effect has its own wording limit. The first is capped by the opposing Character’s cost (8 or less), and the second is capped by type (a type including “Red-Haired Pirates”). Read both lines on the official list before you decide how the card fits your deck.

Why Is Yasopp OP17-031 Listed Twice on the Card List?

The official OP17 card list page shows Yasopp OP17-031 twice, and both entries carry the same number, rarity and effects. The page gives no explanation for the duplicate, so treat OP17-031 as the one card number to look for.

The full OP17 list shows 169 results in total. Our own articles cover individual groups of cards, such as the OP-17 Super Rare cards guide and the OP-17 parallel and alt-art list.

Which Color and Type Does Yasopp Belong To in OP-17?

Yasopp OP17-031 is a Green Character of the Red-Haired Pirates type with the Ranged attribute. The type matters because the End of Your Turn effect checks for it.

The OP-17 product page features OP17-020 Shanks among its headline cards. For other Red-Haired Pirates cards in the set, use the official card list and filter by type.

How Does Yasopp Compare With the Set’s Headline Cards?

Yasopp is a Super Rare, and the official product page does not list it among its featured cards, which are Leaders and Four Emperors cards. The official page simply names those cards as featured.

The headline cards named on the official page include OP17-079 Monkey.D.Luffy (Leader and Super Leader Alt-Art), OP17-039 Rocks.D.Xebec, OP17-001 Edward.Newgate, OP17-020 Shanks, OP17-058 Kaido and OP17-099 Charlotte Linlin. Four cards, OP17-005, OP17-022, OP17-062 and OP17-112, are the newly introduced Super Alt-Arts. A Super Alt-Art is an Alt-Art card with the entire card covered in manga artwork. Yasopp OP17-031 is not in either list.

Pulls from a box are random. Multiples of one card can appear and a full set may be hard to assemble, according to the official page. If you want a specific card like OP17-031, plan for that randomness. For deeper looks at the Four Emperors side of the set, read the Loki SEC OP17 guide and the Big Mom OP-17 guide.

What Is the OP-17 Set Yasopp Comes From?

OP-17 is the booster set marking the card game’s 4th anniversary, set in Elbaf and built around the Four Emperors. According to the official news page, the Japanese edition released on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 240 yen including tax per pack.

• The Straw Hat Pirates appear in Elbaf-arc outfits.
• The Four Emperors appear as leader cards, with many members of each crew.
• Rocks D. Xebec, who brought together Newgate, Charlotte Linlin and Kaido, appears in the card game for the first time.

The official Asia English page also lists OP17-046, OP17-048, OP17-049 and OP17-054 as Rocks Pirates members, and it names OP17-079 as the Super Leader alt-art Monkey D. Luffy.

When Was OP-17 Released in Japan, in English and in Asia?

This article is about the Japanese edition. Bandai’s catalog page for OP-17 notes that its date is tentative and may vary by region or store, and it lists a recommended age of 9 and up. For the English side of the timeline, read our OP-17 English release date and pre-release guide.

What Did the OP-17 4th Anniversary Store Event Offer?

The OP-17 4th Anniversary event ran at local game stores from August 21 to September 13, 2026, and the official page now says “Event has ended.” It is part of the same anniversary the set celebrates, so it is useful context for the cards.

The event details are on the official store tournament page.

Are OP-17 Packs Sold in Other Products Besides the Booster Box?

Yes. The Asia English official page says Super Premium Collection vol.1 includes 24 Booster Packs of OP-17. That product is sold only in Asian regions excluding Japan, with a release date of November 13, 2026.

The same page lists OP-17 under Boosters in its Related Products and says some product images were updated as of October 29, 2026. It also notes that illustrations and product details may differ from the final product. Because that collection is not sold in Japan, our Japanese booster box is the sealed way to open OP-17 packs from Tokyo. The source is the Super Premium Collection vol.1 page.

The Asia English OP-17 page also says a playmat can be downloaded by completing the Japanese or English survey, and both versions share the same design.

How Do You Get Yasopp OP17-031 From Japan?

The route is to open Japanese OP-17 packs, since the product pages list sealed boxes and a carton rather than single cards. A box holds 24 booster packs of 6 cards, so you get 144 cards per box.

Photos on that page are samples, the item is sold as-is, and returns and refunds are not accepted. The first image on that page shows the regular product so you can identify the set, and the condition photos that follow show the typical level of damage; the actual item may differ.

The booster box page describes the product as a sealed, randomized product, and individual card pulls are not guaranteed. For a box comparison, read the OP-17 booster box buying guide and OP-17 vs OP-16.

How Do Shipping and Payment Work for an OP-17 Order?

Orders ship from Tokyo by FedEx with a tracking number, and payments are made in Japanese yen. The details below come from our shipping policy and payment methods page.

Delivery dates shown on the website or in carrier tools do not include handling time, customs processing, weekends, Japanese national holidays or carrier congestion. After handoff to FedEx, timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities.

For Wise, a SWIFT payment incurs a receiving fee of JPY 611, which is deducted before the funds reach us, so add JPY 611 to your order total if you pay that way. Enter the payment reference SST-{order number} exactly as issued.
