OP-17 —BOOSTER PACK -The World’s Strongest Warriors-— isn’t just 119 numbered cards. According to the official Asia-EN card database, the same product carries 39 parallel or alternate-art versions of those cards, plus 11 SP and reprint-parallel inserts pulled in from earlier sets. That’s 50 non-base printings sitting alongside the main 119-card checklist, and two brand-new rarity tiers — Super Leader Parallel and Pirate Crew Super Parallel — that Bandai has never used before this set.
The version codes get confusing fast. A card ending in _p1 is not automatically the same kind of card as one ending in _p2, and OP17-062 Kaido has three separate parallel versions stacked on a single card number. This guide sorts all 39 parallels and 11 SP inserts by tier, with the official IDs, base cards, and colors for each one, so you can tell exactly what’s in front of you.
Both new rarity tiers — Super Leader Parallel and Pirate Crew Super Parallel — were confirmed directly by Bandai in the pre-release material for this set, not inferred from pack breaks or community grading. That matters for identification purposes: if a listing calls something a “leader parallel” or a “super parallel” without matching one of the two structures below, it’s worth double-checking the card number against the official database before assuming it’s a genuine OP-17 printing.
OP-17’s official card database lists 39 parallel/alternate-art versions of its own cards and 11 SP/reprint-parallel inserts carried over from other sets. New for this set: Super Leader Parallel (all six leaders get a _p1) and Pirate Crew Super Parallel (just two cards: Luffy OP17-079_p2 and Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118_p2). We list the sealed OP-17 booster box, currently listed at ¥17,000 (~$116) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), shipped from Tokyo.
Bandai’s official Japanese card list for OP-17 is now fully published and matches the parallel structure below, and the English version of the set released on August 28, 2026 ($4.99 MSRP per pack). September 1 asking prices from SNKRDUNK have been added alongside the release-week figures throughout this guide.
All IDs, base cards, and rarities below are transcribed from the official Asia-EN card database for BOOSTER PACK -The World’s Strongest Warriors- [OP-17], as catalogued 2026-08-25. USD figures on the August 24 market data use ¥159/USD as originally reported; September 1, 2026 figures use ¥147/USD.
How to Read the Version Codes
Every parallel in OP-17 is identified by its base card number plus a suffix — _p1, _p2, or occasionally _p3. The database’s own convention is straightforward: _p1 is a card’s first parallel version, and _p2 or _p3 are additional versions layered on top of that same card number.
Most base cards that get a parallel only get one — a _p1. A handful of standout cards get a second treatment (usually a manga/comic-art illustration), and exactly one card in the set — Kaido, OP17-062 — goes to a third: the “Baki” crossover art by Keisuke Itagaki, numbered OP17-062_p3.
Two rarity names are brand new to this set, officially announced by Bandai alongside OP-17’s release:
- Super Leader Parallel (スーパーリーダーパラレル) — the first leader parallel line. All six OP-17 leaders have a
_p1Super Leader Parallel version. - Pirate Crew Super Parallel (海賊団スーパーパラレル) — the set’s top chase tier, officially confirmed as the highest treatment in OP-17. Only Monkey.D.Luffy OP17-079_p2 and Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118_p2 carry it.
The tables below sort all 39 parallels by tier, followed by the 11 SP/reprint-parallel inserts that ride along in OP-17 packs under their original set numbers.
Each tier table lists the parallel’s ID next to its base card, rarity, and color exactly as the official database records them. Where the same base number carries more than one suffix — Kaido OP17-062, Shanks OP17-022, Edward.Newgate OP17-005, Charlotte Linlin OP17-112, Monkey.D.Luffy OP17-079, and Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118 all do — each version gets its own row, since they’re separate collectible printings even though the underlying card text is identical.
Pirate Crew Super Parallel
The two cards at the very top of OP-17’s parallel structure. Both are top-tier chase cards, and both are covered in more depth in our OP-17 chase cards guide.
Luffy’s Pirate Crew Super Parallel is built on his OP17-079 Leader card — the same base as his Super Leader Parallel below — while Rocks.D.Xebec’s is built on his OP17-118 SEC Character card. That’s why Xebec shows up twice in the tier tables in this guide: once as a Pirate Crew Super Parallel (OP17-118_p2) and once as a standard SEC parallel (OP17-118_p1).
| ID | Base card | Rarity | Color |
|---|---|---|---|
| OP17-079_p2 | Monkey.D.Luffy | L (Leader) | Black |
| OP17-118_p2 | Rocks.D.Xebec | SEC | Blue |
Manga Parallels & the Baki Kaido
Four cards received a comic/manga-art parallel treatment for OP-17 — all four are SR-rarity Character cards representing the set’s four featured Emperors. Kaido then goes one step further with a third version, OP17-062_p3, illustrated by Baki manga creator Keisuke Itagaki.
| ID | Base card | Rarity | Color | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OP17-005_p2 | Edward.Newgate | SR | Red | Comic/manga parallel |
| OP17-022_p2 | Shanks | SR | Green | Comic/manga parallel |
| OP17-062_p2 | Kaido | SR | Purple | Comic/manga parallel |
| OP17-112_p2 | Charlotte Linlin | SR | Yellow | Comic/manga parallel |
| OP17-062_p3 | Kaido | SR | Purple | “Baki” art by Keisuke Itagaki |
Community-reported figures (torecamap / tcgpro, unofficial, 2026-08-24) put Edward.Newgate OP17-005_p2 at a reported buyback of roughly ¥131,000 (~$824), and Shanks OP17-022_p2 in the ¥213,000–217,000 (~$1,340–$1,365) range. Kaido and Charlotte Linlin’s manga parallels (OP17-062_p2 and OP17-112_p2) had no reported figure in our sourcing at that point, and neither did the Baki crossover art, OP17-062_p3. As of September 1, 2026, SNKRDUNK lowest asking prices for the comic parallels sit at ¥119,000 (Whitebeard OP17-005_p2), ¥170,000 (Shanks OP17-022_p2), ¥88,800 (Kaido OP17-062_p2), and ¥80,000 (Charlotte Linlin OP17-112_p2) — asking prices, not sold prices.
For the full manga-parallel context across other One Piece sets, see our manga rare cards guide and the OP-17-specific manga rare parallel cards guide.
Super Leader Parallel
Every one of OP-17’s six leaders has a Super Leader Parallel — the first time Bandai has run a dedicated parallel line for leader cards. All six use the _p1 suffix on their base leader number.
| ID | Leader | Color |
|---|---|---|
| OP17-001_p1 | Edward.Newgate | Red |
| OP17-020_p1 | Shanks | Green |
| OP17-039_p1 | Rocks.D.Xebec | Blue |
| OP17-058_p1 | Kaido | Purple |
| OP17-079_p1 | Monkey.D.Luffy | Black |
| OP17-099_p1 | Charlotte Linlin | Yellow |
Only Luffy’s Leader parallel, OP17-079_p1, has a reported figure attached: torecamap / tcgpro (unofficial, 2026-08-24) put its reported buyback around ¥126,000 (~$792). By September 1, 2026, SNKRDUNK lowest asks for the six Super Leader Parallels had settled much lower: Whitebeard ¥1,000, Shanks ¥1,900, Rocks.D.Xebec ¥3,800, Kaido ¥1,880, Luffy ¥4,000, and Charlotte Linlin ¥1,200 — asking prices, not sold prices, and a reminder of how quickly release-week figures move. Luffy’s numbers sit well below his own Pirate Crew Super Parallel and OP17-118_p2 Xebec figures further down this guide — not a lesser card, just a different treatment on the same leader. See our full OP-17 leader cards guide for how each of the six compares on the table.
SEC, SR, Treasure Rare & Alternate-Art Parallels
Everything else in the 39-card parallel list is a standard alternate-art _p1, spread across SEC, SR, Treasure Rare, and the R/UC/C tiers. Unlike the manga parallels or the two new super-parallel tiers, these mostly follow the pattern that’s been used across the wider card game for years: one alternate illustration per base card, at the same rarity as the card it’s built on — except Lucky.Roux, where the base OP17-033 is Rare (R) but its OP17-033_p1 parallel is a Treasure Rare (TR).
SEC Parallels (2)
Both of OP-17’s two SEC base cards have an alternate-art _p1, separate from Rocks.D.Xebec’s Pirate Crew Super Parallel above.
| ID | Base card | Color |
|---|---|---|
| OP17-118_p1 | Rocks.D.Xebec | Blue |
| OP17-119_p1 | Loki | Black |
SR Parallels (10)
All ten of OP-17’s SR-rarity base cards have a _p1 alternate-art parallel.
| ID | Base card | Color |
|---|---|---|
| OP17-005_p1 | Edward.Newgate | Red |
| OP17-022_p1 | Shanks | Green |
| OP17-031_p1 | Yasopp | Green |
| OP17-046_p1 | Gloriosa | Blue |
| OP17-048_p1 | Shiki | Blue |
| OP17-062_p1 | Kaido | Purple |
| OP17-063_p1 | Kaido | Purple |
| OP17-080_p1 | Usopp | Black |
| OP17-093_p1 | Monkey.D.Luffy | Black |
| OP17-112_p1 | Charlotte Linlin | Yellow |
For the base SR cards these are built on, our OP-17 super rare cards guide covers all ten in detail.
Treasure Rare (1)
Treasure Rare is its own rarity slot, separate from the base R/UC/C/SR/L/SEC lineup listed in our set overview. OP-17 has exactly one: Lucky.Roux, whose base R card lets you dig three cards deep for a Red-Haired Pirates hit.
| ID | Base card | Color |
|---|---|---|
| OP17-033_p1 | Lucky.Roux | Green |
R / UC / C Alternate Arts (13)
The remaining 13 parallels sit at R, UC, and C rarity. None of these have a hosted product photo in our system yet — use our OP-17 card list page to browse full images for each one.

SP Cards & Reprint Parallels Included in OP-17 Packs
Alongside its own 39 parallels, OP-17 also carries 11 inserts pulled from earlier products: 10 SP CARD entries plus the EB04-061_p3 SEC reprint parallel. These are not OP-17-numbered cards — each one keeps its original set number (ST31-004, OP13-028, P-084, and so on) and simply gets a fresh parallel suffix for its inclusion in this product. The official database lists all 11 under OP-17’s own “Card Set(s)” field, which is how we know they’re packed into this set specifically.
Bandai’s own copy groups them into two families: four “New Emperor” SP treatments (Luffy ST31-004, Teach ST27-005, Shanks OP13-028, Buggy P-084) and six “Conqueror’s Haki” SP treatments (Zoro EB04-007, Garp OP12-056, Rayleigh OP14-108, Yamato OP16-098, Roger P-107, Oden ST32-002). One more, EB04-061_p3, is a reprint parallel of the EB-04 Luffy SEC — not a new SP card, but a straight reprint carried into OP-17 packs.
If you’re trying to identify one of these in hand, the giveaway is the number itself: none of them start with “OP17-“. If a card’s ID begins with EB04, OP12, OP13, OP14, OP16, P-, or ST, it’s an SP or reprint-parallel insert riding along in the pack — not one of the set’s own 119 base cards or 39 parallels.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many parallel versions does OP-17 have?
OP-17’s official card database lists 39 parallel/alternate-art versions of its own cards, plus 11 SP/reprint-parallel inserts carried over from other sets — a combined 50 non-base printings across the product.
What is a Super Leader Parallel?
Super Leader Parallel is a rarity treatment introduced with OP-17. Every one of the set’s six leaders has one: Edward.Newgate OP17-001_p1, Shanks OP17-020_p1, Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-039_p1, Kaido OP17-058_p1, Monkey.D.Luffy OP17-079_p1, and Charlotte Linlin OP17-099_p1. It marks the first time leader cards have received a dedicated parallel line.

Pirate Crew Super Parallel is OP-17’s top chase-card tier, officially announced alongside Super Leader Parallel. Only two exist in the set: Monkey.D.Luffy OP17-079_p2 and Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118_p2.
Are OP-17’s SP cards new to this set?
No. The 11 SP/reprint-parallel inserts in OP-17 packs keep their original set numbers (for example Luffy ST31-004_p1 and Shanks OP13-028_p2) and are reprints carried over from earlier products, not new OP-17-numbered cards. EB04-061_p3 is a reprint parallel of the EB-04 Luffy SEC.
