The OP-17 booster box, op17 booster box in short, is a box of 6-card packs priced by Bandai at ¥240 each.
As of October 2, 2026, the official Japanese product page for 【OP-17】 (The World’s Strongest Warriors) gives a release date of August 22, 2026, a tax-in price of 240円 per pack and a list of 全131種+4種. The English product page prints a pre-release on August 21 and a release on August 28, 2026 at $4.99 per pack. The only place a box appears as a fact is the official box render image, which shows 24 packs.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
- Official: 6 cards per pack at 240円 (tax-in), released August 22, 2026 in Japan and August 28, 2026 in English. The official box render shows 24 packs per box (image, not page text); no box price is printed.
- The official card database lists 169 OP-17 rows: 119 base rows and 50 suffixed rows, including 10 スペシャルカード rows and 1 トレジャーレア row.
- Our OP-17 Damaged Box is listed at ¥10,800 (~$70) as a separate product, and its product page carries its own condition terms.
- The lowest SNKRDUNK ask for a sealed Japanese box was ¥11,997 (~$78) on October 2, 2026 — an asking price, not a sale.

What the OP-17 Booster Box Is
OP-17 is the Japanese One Piece Card Game booster set 世界最強の戦士, which the English site names BOOSTER PACK -THE WORLD’S STRONGEST WARRIORS-. A booster box holds sealed packs of this set. The box render on the official page carries the 4th Anniversary mark and the set code OP-17.

The Japanese and English official pages print the same card-type total and differ in dates and in the currency of the pack price.
| Item | Japanese official page | English official page |
|---|---|---|
【OP-17】 | BOOSTER PACK -THE WORLD’S STRONGEST WARRIORS- |
| Cards per pack | 6枚 | not listed in the product details |
| Card types | 全131種+4種 | 131+4 types in total |
| “Due to the nature of the product, multiples of one card may appear, or it may be difficult to assemble a full set.” |
The “+4” is the four DON!! card types, which the official database does not list as rows. The 131 are the numbered card types counted in the rarity ladder section.
Packs per Box and the Box Price
The Japanese product page prints no packs-per-box figure as text. The official box render does: its badges read 「ブースターパック」, 「1パック6枚入り」 and 「24パック入り」. That is an image on the official product page, not page text: the official box render shows 24 packs per box. The pack render prints 「全131種+4種」 and 「1パック6枚入り」, which is 131 numbered card types plus 4 more, 135 card types in total by arithmetic.
| Question | Answer | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Cards per pack | 6 | Official (product page and pack render) |
| Pack price | 240円 (tax-in) | Official (product page) |
| Packs per box | 24 | Official box render, image only |
| Cards per box | 144 (24 × 6) | Arithmetic from the pack count and cards per pack |
| Box price | ¥5,760 (24 × ¥240) | Arithmetic only; Bandai prints no box price |
| Boxes per carton or case | no figure | Not confirmed |
The ¥5,760 line is a calculation, not a retail price: it multiplies the printed pack price by the box render’s pack count. Store prices for the box are the store’s own and are shown in the box price section. For carton and case buying, the OP-17 Case Buying Guide is the companion article.
The OP-17 Rarity Ladder
The Japanese product page prints the rarity breakdown of the 131 numbered card types. The English page lists the same rarity names without counts: Special Cards, Treasure Rare, Leader Cards, Secret Rares, Super Rares, Rares, Uncommons, Commons and DON!! Cards.
| Rarity (as printed) | English page name | Types |
|---|---|---|
Special Cards | 10 |
Treasure Rare | 1 |
Leader Cards | 6 |
Secret Rares | 3 |
Super Rares | 10 |
Rares | 26 |
Uncommons | 30 |
Commons | 45 |
DON!! Cards | 4 |
The first eight rows add up to 131, the printed total; the four DON!! card types are the “+4”. The 26 Rares, 30 Uncommons and 45 Commons make up 101 of the 131 types. The remaining 30 are the Leader, Super Rare, Secret Rare, Treasure Rare and Special Card types.
Base Rows and Suffixed Rows in the Official Database
The official One Piece card database lists 169 rows for the OP-17 booster. A base print carries an id equal to its card number; a variant printing carries the same card number with a suffix such as _p1. The database prints no text label such as “parallel” on a row, so only the suffix, the SPカード rarity and the TR rarity can be reported as the database prints them.
| Row group | Rows |
|---|---|
| Base rows (no suffix) | 119 |
Suffix _p1 |
38 |
Suffix _p2 |
10 |
Suffix _p3 |
2 |
| All rows | 169 |
The printed 全131種 reconciles with the database: 119 base rows, plus 10 SPカード rows, plus 1 TR row (OP17-033_p1), plus EB04-061_p3, a Secret Rare that carries another set’s number but lists the OP-17 booster as its source. The source field of all 169 rows reads
| Rarity (database) | Base rows | All rows |
|---|---|---|
| L (Leader) | 6 | 13 |
| SR | 10 | 25 |
| R | 26 | 33 |
| UC | 30 | 33 |
| C | 45 | 48 |
| SEC | 2 | 6 |
| SPカード | — | 10 |
| TR | — | 1 |
Of the 169 rows, 158 carry an OP17 number. The other 11 carry numbers from other sets: EB04 (2 rows), P (2 rows), and one each from OP12, OP13, OP14, OP16, ST27, ST31 and ST32. Six base prints have more than one suffixed row: OP17-005, -022, -079, -112 and -118 have two each, and OP17-062 has three. The set’s own card list is on the OP-17 card list page, and the full OP-17 card list article goes through the 119 base cards by colour and rarity.
The Parallel and Special Card Labels on the Official Page
The official Japanese page names several special treatments, but it ties them to card numbers only in some cases. Where it shows a label as an image file name, the number is the one in the file name and not printed text.
| Label on the official page | Numbers shown | How they appear |
|---|---|---|
OP17-005, OP17-022, OP17-062, OP17-112 | Image file names (SPP) |
EB04-061, OP17-118 | Image file names (4thR) |
SP | OP12-056, ST32-002, OP14-108, P-107, OP16-098, EB04-007 | Card numbers |
The FOUR EMPERORS group (4 numbers) and the 覇王色SP group (6 numbers) together give the 10 スペシャルカード types in the rarity ladder. Which database suffix (_p1, _p2, _p3) belongs to which label is not confirmed, because the database flags suffixes only. The official page does not label any print as manga; the store’s OP-17 manga rare and parallel cards article covers the community terms for these prints.
Secret Rares and the Treasure Rare
The printed Secret Rare count is 3. In the database that is two base rows, OP17-118 and OP17-119, plus EB04-061_p3. The database also lists the suffixed rows shown in the table and a single Treasure Rare, OP17-033_p1.
| Database id | Name (as printed) | Rarity | Colour | Database flag |
|---|---|---|---|---|

The store’s OP-17 chase cards article goes through Loki and the other top prints one by one.
The Ten Special Cards
Every one of the 10 スペシャルカード rows carries another set’s card number and a suffix, and the database lists each with the rarity SPカード.
| Database id | Name (as printed) | Colour | Database flag |
|---|---|---|---|

The store’s OP-17 SP cards article covers the same group card by card.
Leaders and Super Rares with Parallel Rows
All 6 Leader base prints and all 10 Super Rare base prints have at least one suffixed row in the database, and so do both base Secret Rares.

The Top 10 SNKRDUNK Asks for OP-17 Singles
These are the ten highest lowest-asking prices among OP-17 singles on SNKRDUNK, dated September 30, 2026. They are asking prices, not sales. The listing labels in the fourth column are SNKRDUNK’s own naming, not Bandai’s; the database column shows the number, the rarity and the suffixes the official database prints. English character names are renderings of the Japanese names.
| # | Character (rendering) | Number and database rows | SNKRDUNK listing label | Lowest ask, Sept 30, 2026 | PSA 10 ask on the product page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | Shanks | OP17-022 · SR · _p1, _p2 | SR-SP (コミパラ) | ¥133,333 | ¥350,000 |
| 4 | Monkey D. Luffy | OP17-079 · L · _p1, _p2 | L-SP (コミパラ) | ¥89,999 | ¥315,000 |
| 5 | Charlotte Linlin | OP17-112 · SR · _p1, _p2 | SR-SP (コミパラ) | ¥88,000 | no PSA 10 listing |
| 6 | Edward Newgate | OP17-005 · SR · _p1, _p2 | SR-SP (コミパラ) | ¥75,000 | ¥160,000 |
| 7 | Kaido | OP17-062 · SR · _p1, _p2, _p3 | SR-SP (コミパラ) | ¥64,000 | ¥180,000 |
Four of the ten carry another set’s card number (EB04-061, ST31-004, EB04-007 and OP13-028), so the printed number alone does not tell a buyer which booster a print came from. One naming trap shows up in the same data: SNKRDUNK’s separate “SEC-P” listing for Rocks (OP-17 number OP17-118) had a lowest ask of ¥3,999 on September 30, 2026, a different listing from the ¥436,000 “SEC-SP (コミパラ) :海賊団スーパーパラレル” row. The same day, SNKRDUNK showed a lowest ask of ¥1,999 for the Loki SEC (OP17-119) and ¥1,800 for the base Rocks SEC (OP17-118).
For how these prints were priced in the first days after release, see the OP-17 launch weekend price report, and for the chase discussion, the OP-17 chase cards and box guide.
Box Prices: Our Listings and the SNKRDUNK Box Ask
Each box figure carries its own date or product page.
| Product | Price | What the figure is |
|---|---|---|
| OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors Japanese One Piece Booster Box – Damaged Box | ¥10,800 (~$70) | Currently listed price; separate product page |
| SNKRDUNK sealed Japanese box, one box | ¥11,997 (~$78) | Lowest ask on SNKRDUNK as of October 2, 2026 |
| SNKRDUNK, two boxes | ¥24,700 | Lowest ask for a two-box quantity line, October 2, 2026 |
| SNKRDUNK, three boxes | ¥37,000 | Lowest ask for a three-box quantity line, October 2, 2026 |
The Damaged Box is a separate product and its product page carries its own condition terms. At ¥10,800 (~$70) it sits ¥1,197 under the lowest SNKRDUNK ask of ¥11,997 (~$78); the two lines describe different products, and an ask is not a sale. SNKRDUNK’s figures are marketplace asking prices for a Japanese sealed box; an ask says what a seller is asking, not what anyone paid.
A per-box view of the SNKRDUNK quantity lines comes from dividing the ask by the box count: ¥24,700 for two boxes and ¥37,000 for three boxes. Each is the lowest ask for that quantity line on October 2, 2026, so a per-box figure is arithmetic on an asking price and not a quoted sale price. A buyer comparing lines should divide first and only then compare with the one-box ask of ¥11,997 (~$78).

Sealed Box, Damaged Box or Singles
The buying routes are the Damaged Box, singles and a sourcing request; the product pages show the current terms for each. Choosing between them is a question of what the buyer wants from the box.
- The Damaged Box is the lower-priced listing. Currently listed at ¥10,800 (~$70); read its product page for the condition terms before ordering.
- Singles are the route when one print is the goal. The suffix tables in the database section show how many rows share a card number, so match the number, the rarity and the suffix to the official database before buying; the OP-17 card list page is the place to start.
The sealed OP-17 box is sold out at the time of this update — restock requests go through Quick Order. The store’s OP-17 Japanese vs English comparison covers the English release dates and the prices of the two language versions for readers who are choosing between them.
What Bandai Does Not Publish
Bandai does not publish pull rates for OP-17. The official Japanese and English product pages and the official rules Q&A contain no pull-rate or odds figure as of October 2, 2026; the only randomness line on the Japanese page is 「※カードはランダムに封入されています。」. The store’s own OP-17 pull rates and chase cards article is store content, not an official figure.
The same applies to cartons and cases: no official page or image gives a boxes-per-carton figure, so any such number is not confirmed. The OP-17 Case Buying Guide is linked as the companion article for that side of the purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many packs are in an OP-17 booster box?
The official box render shows 24 packs per box. That figure is an image on the official product page, not page text. The Japanese page prints 6 cards per pack, so a box holds 144 cards by arithmetic. The render is the only official source for the pack count.
How much does an OP-17 booster box cost?
Bandai prints a pack price of 240円 (tax-in) and no box price. Our OP-17 Damaged Box is currently listed at ¥10,800 (~$70). The lowest SNKRDUNK ask for a sealed Japanese box was ¥11,997 (~$78) as of October 2, 2026, an asking price rather than a sale.
When was OP-17 released in Japan and in English?
The official Japanese page gives August 22, 2026 (Saturday) for the Japanese release. The official English page prints a pre-release on August 21, 2026 and a release on August 28, 2026, at an MSRP of $4.99 per pack. Both pages describe the same set under different names.
How many cards are in OP-17?
The official Japanese page prints 全131種+4種, meaning 131 numbered card types plus four DON!! card types. The official card database lists 169 rows for the booster: 119 base rows and 50 suffixed rows. The suffixed rows include 10 スペシャルカード rows and 1 トレジャーレア row.
Are OP-17 pull rates published?
No. Bandai’s official Japanese and English product pages and the rules Q&A, as printed on October 2, 2026, print no pull rates or odds. The Japanese page states only that cards are inserted at random. Our OP-17 chase cards and box guide is store content, not an official figure.
How is the OP-17 Damaged Box listed?
The Damaged Box is a separate product with its own page, listed at ¥10,800 (~$70) and shipped from Tokyo. Its product page shows the condition terms, so read them before ordering. It is the lower-priced OP-17 box listing, and the page shows the current terms for the order.
How many boxes are in an OP-17 case?
Not confirmed. No official page or image states a boxes-per-carton or boxes-per-case figure for OP-17, and the 24-pack count belongs to the single box render only. Any case figure is unconfirmed. Carton and case buying is covered in our OP-17 Case Buying Guide.
