Six outside artists are named in sources for ONE PIECE Card Game cards, and two of them are tied to the two Japanese sets scheduled for autumn 2026: Kentaro Yabuki, the To LOVE-Ru artist, for EB-05 on October 31, 2026, and Yoshitaka Amano, the FINAL FANTASY artist, for OP-18 on November 21, 2026.
As of October 6, 2026 both credits are official: Bandai’s @ONEPIECE_tcg post names Yabuki, and the official ONE PIECE staff account and one-piece.com name Amano. The other four artists are reported by Japanese outlets, each named with its outlet and date. Bandai does not use the phrase “guest illustrator” for any of them; its wording is 描き下ろし or 描きおろし, “newly drawn”, plus the name. The label is ours.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. We do not list EB-05 or OP-18, so the products we link are different, earlier sets.
- Official credits: Yabuki for Nami EB05-055 (EB-05) and Amano for Loki and Saint Shamrock (OP-18).
- Reported credits: Keisuke Itagaki (Kaido, OP-17), Gege Akutami (Five Elders parallel, OP-13), Yuto Suzuki and Kyosuke Usuta (2024 Jump promo cards).
- The Suzuki and Usuta cards are magazine promos, not booster-pack cards.
- No source supports a “first guest artist” claim, a ranking or a “biggest” collaboration.
The table covers every artist row the sources support as of this date, with the outlet and date for each reported row.
All Six Artists in One Table
Only rows that an official channel or a named outlet supports appear. Card numbers are printed only where an official image shows one.

| Keisuke Itagaki (板垣恵介) | Baki series | OP-17, Japan August 22, 2026 | 「最強生物 百獣のカイドウ」 | Reported | Toy People, August 3, 2026 |

How Credits Appear
Two kinds of evidence carry a credit. The first is official announcement text. For Yabuki it is the line 「イラストは『To LOVEる―とらぶる―』作者の矢吹 健太朗先生描き下ろし!」 on the official X post of October 5, 2026. For Amano it is the official staff account’s line announcing Loki and Saint Shamrock, newly drawn by him, for the November booster, plus the one-piece.com item of the same day, August 23, 2026.
The second is the name printed on the card. The sample images attached to the Yabuki post print “Kentaro Yabuki” on the card edge, and the Amano sample images print “Yoshitaka Amano”. The Yabuki images carry a SAMPLE watermark, which belongs to the promotional image and not to the card; the Amano credit is read from small sample images.

For the reported rows, the outlet is the only support. Toy People wrote that Itagaki drew the Kaido card newly for the OP-17 pack, announced on August 2, 2026 with the lineup. The official post of that date is a video whose text does not name him. Inside Games wrote that the Five Elders parallel uses newly drawn art by Akutami.
The Artists, One by One
Kentaro Yabuki: Nami in EB-05 (official)
Yabuki’s credit is on a Character card, Nami EB05-055, SR with a star mark, cost 5, power 6000. The post attaches two images: one with a cat-silhouette background and one with a close-up of Nami’s face. Japanese media call them a regular version (通常版) and a foil-stamped version (箔押しver.), wording that is not in the official post. The card was shown in the October 4, 2026 livestream, and the only post from his side is a staff-signed one. His career and the announcement are in the Yabuki write-up, and the card data is in the card write-up.

Yoshitaka Amano: Loki and Saint Shamrock in OP-18 (official)
The official staff post of August 23, 2026 reads, in Japanese: 「FINAL FANTASYなどのキャラクター&ビジュアルを手がける ─ 天野喜孝さん描きおろし ─ ロキ、シャムロックは11月発売のブースターパック第18弾に収録!」. In English, roughly (our rendering): Yoshitaka Amano, who handles characters and visuals for FINAL FANTASY and more, newly drew Loki and Shamrock, and both are included in the booster pack due in November. The same day, one-piece.com wrote that the illustrations of 「シャムロック聖」 and 「ロキ」 by Amano were being shown in full.
The sample images attached to the post show Loki with the number OP17-119, SEC, cost 6, power 8000, traits 巨人族/エルバフ, and Saint Shamrock with OP18-119, SEC, cost 8, power 9000, traits 天竜人/神の騎士団. The official card list confirms OP17-119 ロキ as an OP-17 Secret Rare, a black card with cost 6 and power 8000. The official Japanese OP-18 product page does not mention Amano; the credit lives on the X post and on one-piece.com. Whether the Amano cards also come in a foil-stamped parallel is reported only by essential-japan.com, which wrote on August 23, 2026 of “parallel versions featuring foil-stamped treatments”; the official texts do not say 箔押し. Our OP-18 chase cards write-up covers the set’s reported parallels.
Keisuke Itagaki: Kaido in OP-17 (reported)
Toy People wrote on August 3, 2026 that Itagaki, the Baki artist, drew 「最強生物 百獣のカイドウ」 for 「世界最強の戦士【OP-17】」, which went on sale in Japan on August 22, 2026, and that he drew it newly for that pack. The announcement came on August 2, 2026 with the OP-17 lineup. No card number is given for this card. The set’s parallel cards are covered in the OP-17 manga rare and parallel guide.
Gege Akutami: Five Elders parallel in OP-13 (reported)
Inside Games wrote on August 22, 2025 that the Five Elders (五老星) parallel, a rare card in 「受け継がれる意志【OP-13】」, the 3rd-anniversary booster, uses a newly drawn illustration by Akutami, author of Jujutsu Kaisen. No card number is given for this card either.
Yuto Suzuki: Shanks, Jump 2024 issue 45 promo (reported)
Comic Natalie wrote on October 7, 2024 that the cards bundled with Weekly Shonen Jump are newly drawn by Jump authors, and that issue 45, on sale October 7, 2024, carries Shanks by Suzuki, the SAKAMOTO DAYS artist. One photo caption in that article reads the other way, crediting Suzuki with a Buggy card, while the article body says Suzuki drew Shanks and Usuta drew Buggy; the body text is the fuller statement.
Kyosuke Usuta: Buggy, Jump 2024 issue 46 promo (reported)
The same Comic Natalie article says issue 46, on sale October 15, 2024, carries Buggy by Usuta, whose works include Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar and Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san. No card number is given for this card.
The Two Autumn 2026 Sets
Both guest-artist credits sit in sets whose dates are on the official product indexes as of October 6, 2026. Bandai prints 240 yen per pack for each Japanese set and USD $4.99 per pack for each English one. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
| Item | EB-05 ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 | OP-18 THE DOMINANCE OF GOD |
|---|---|---|
| Product type | Extra Booster | Booster Pack |
| Japanese release | Saturday, October 31, 2026 | Saturday, November 21, 2026 |
| English release | October 30, 2026 | November 20, 2026 |
| Japanese pack price | 240 yen, tax included | 240 yen, tax included |
| English pack price | USD $4.99 per pack | USD $4.99 per pack |
| Contents (Japanese) | 6 cards per pack; 75 + 2 types | 6 cards per pack; 127 + 1 types |
| Theme in Bandai’s words | The second Extra Booster with the heroines in the leading role | 「ウォーターセブン」 and 「神の騎士団」 |
| Guest artist | Yabuki, official post (October 5, 2026) | Amano, official posts (August 23, 2026) |

The English name for OP-18 is “THE DOMINANCE OF GOD” on the official English index. Neither set page names an illustrator. A fuller side-by-side is in EB-05 or OP-18, and the OP-18 reveals are collected in the OP-18 release guide.
Booster-Pack Cards and Magazine Promos
The six rows are not one kind of product. They split in two:
- Booster-pack cards. Yabuki (EB-05), Amano (OP-18), Itagaki (OP-17) and Akutami (OP-13). They are included in booster sets; the official EB-05 page states that its cards are packed at random.
- Magazine promo cards. Suzuki and Usuta. Comic Natalie describes cards bundled with Weekly Shonen Jump issues 45 and 46 of 2024, each newly drawn by a Jump author.
The difference decides where a card can be found. A promo is tied to a magazine issue. A set card is tied to a pack. Our comic parallel guide explains the parallel treatments that set cards can carry.
The Words Bandai Uses for Alternate Versions
The Akutami card is reported as a parallel and the Yabuki Nami comes in two versions, so the vocabulary matters. Bandai’s own words are narrower than the collector words used in headlines:
| Term | Where Bandai prints it | Status |
|---|---|---|
| パラレルイラスト版 / パラレル版 | OP-01 release day, July 22, 2022, for the Secret Rare Shanks and Yamato; EB-05 reveal item of August 23, 2026, 「リーダーカードのパラレル版やスペシャルカードも公開!」 | Official |
| スーパーパラレル | OP-01, July 22, 2022, a version with a very low inclusion rate; OP-09, August 11, 2024; OP-18, August 23, 2026, 「スーパーパラレルは「ニコ・ロビン」です!」 | Official |
| パラレルカード / スーパーパラレルカード / スペシャルカード | The EB-05 release-event prize-draw sentence | Official |
| コミックパラレル / コミパラ, “manga rare” | Not in official text; collector and media words for a super parallel with a manga-panel background | Media usage |
| 箔押し / 箔押しver. | Not in official text; used by Inside Games and skypenguin (October 5, 2026) for the second Yabuki Nami | Reported |
Two consequences follow for guest-art cards. A card described in headlines as a “comic parallel” is using a media word. And a foil-stamped label on an Amano or Yabuki card is attributed to the outlet that used it, not to Bandai. When a card list is published after release, the rarity and treatment words printed there are the ones to follow.
What Has Not Been Announced
As of October 6, 2026 these items are not printed by Bandai or not supported by a named source:
- A guest-artist credit on the official Japanese product pages for EB-05 or OP-18.
- Any official English card name for the EB-05 or OP-18 guest-art cards.
- Which treatment name Bandai gives the two Yabuki versions, and which parts are foil-stamped.
- Pull rates and per-box counts for any of the cards in the table.
- Card numbers for the Itagaki, Akutami, Suzuki and Usuta rows.
- Any further outside artist for EB-05 or OP-18. No artist beyond these six is documented.
- Any ONE PIECE product dated December 2026 or January 2027 on the official Japanese or English product indexes.
None of these absences is a statement that something exists or does not exist; they are limits of the record.
Checklist Before Chasing a Guest-Art Card
- The status word. Official, reported with an outlet and date, or not printed; each artist row carries one.
- The set date. Japan is October 31, 2026 for EB-05 and November 21, 2026 for OP-18.
- Set card or promo. A Jump promo is not a booster card.
- Version names. 通常版, 箔押しver. and “parallel” are media wording unless Bandai prints them.
- The official card list. It has no EB-05 or OP-18 rows as of October 6, 2026.
The table lists the two official credits first and the reported rows after them; no source ranks these collaborations.
Where to Buy One Piece Boxes from Japan
We ship Japanese sealed product from Tokyo. The One Piece card box collection lists the sealed lineup, the OP-17 card list and EB-03 card list show what those sets contain, and the EB-03 Damaged Box is a separate product at ¥14,657 (~$95). Sourcing requests for EB-05 go through Quick Order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which artists have drawn One Piece Card Game cards?
Sources name six: Kentaro Yabuki for EB-05 and Yoshitaka Amano for OP-18 are official, while Keisuke Itagaki (OP-17), Gege Akutami (OP-13), Yuto Suzuki and Kyosuke Usuta (2024 Jump promos) are reported by named outlets. No source says the list is complete.
When does the Yabuki Nami card come out?
EB-05 ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 goes on sale in Japan on Saturday, October 31, 2026, and the official English page prints October 30, 2026. The card is Nami EB05-055, SR, and the official post crediting Yabuki appeared on October 5, 2026.
Which cards did Yoshitaka Amano draw?
The official ONE PIECE staff account and one-piece.com name Loki and Saint Shamrock, both included in OP-18, due in Japan on November 21, 2026. The sample images show the numbers OP17-119 for Loki and OP18-119 for Shamrock, both marked SEC.
Is Bandai’s word for these artists “guest illustrator”?
No. Bandai writes 描き下ろし or 描きおろし, meaning newly drawn, followed by the artist’s name. “Guest illustrator” is our own label for outside artists, used for convenience. The official product pages for EB-05 and OP-18 name no illustrators at all, so credits sit on posts and card edges.
Are the Jump promo cards by Suzuki and Usuta booster cards?
No. Comic Natalie reported on October 7, 2024 that they were bundled with Weekly Shonen Jump issues 45 and 46 of 2024, with Shanks drawn by Yuto Suzuki and Buggy by Kyosuke Usuta. They are magazine promo cards, not pack cards.
Was Yabuki or Amano the first guest artist?
No source says so. Bandai prints no such claim for either artist. The six rows also include 2024 Jump promo cards by Yuto Suzuki and Kyosuke Usuta and an OP-13 Five Elders parallel by Gege Akutami reported in August 2025, and no source ranks the six collaborations.
