Blastoise Cards
This page gathers Japanese Blastoise Pokemon cards, most of them PSA 10 graded singles sold in their PSA slabs. It runs from an Old Back card from the Team Rocket expansion and Clair’s Blastoise (VS 046/141) to Blastoise EX, GX, Radiant Blastoise and the Pokemon Card 151 Blastoise ex, plus a 25th Anniversary promo. Orders ship from Tokyo by FedEx with tracking. For background, read our Squirtle and Blastoise cards guide.

Which Blastoise cards you'll find here
Blastoise listings here span the Old Back era through the Scarlet & Violet era. Older cards include an Old Back card from the Team Rocket expansion (PMCG4 No.009) and Clair's Blastoise (VS 046/141), a 1st Edition card from a Leaders' Pokemon half deck. Old Back is the collector name for the original card back design used on early Japanese cards. XY-era cards include Blastoise EX from Collection Y (XY1), a Blastoise EX promo from the Blastoise Mega Battle special pack (XY-P 234), and Blastoise EX and M Blastoise EX from the 20th Anniversary concept pack (CP6) with the 1st Edition mark.
Sun & Moon era listings include Blastoise GX HR from Full Metal Wall (SM9b) and Blastoise & Piplup GX from Remix Bout (SM11a) in RR and SR: SA. From the Sword & Shield era come Radiant Blastoise from Pokemon GO (s10b) and the Blastoise promo from the 25th Anniversary promo pack (S8a-P 003/025). The Scarlet & Violet era adds Blastoise ex SR and SAR from Pokemon Card 151 (SV2a), and there is also the Blastoise from Pokemon Card Game Classic (CLK 003/032).
Both high-end and entry-level cards appear here. The Team Rocket Old Back card, the CP6 Blastoise EX SR and Clair's Blastoise sit at the high end, while Radiant Blastoise, the Pokemon Card 151 Blastoise ex SR and the Classic Blastoise are entry-level PSA 10 slabs. Prices are shown on each product page. Charizard cards are in our Charizard cards collection.
How to read a listing
Each title follows the same pattern: PSA10, the card name, the rarity, the set code and card number in brackets, then the Japanese set name, translated, in parentheses, as in PSA10 Blastoise ex SAR [SV2a 202/165] (Enhanced Expansion Pack "Pokemon Card 151"). Rarity codes in this collection include RR (Double Rare), SR (Super Rare), SA (Special Art), HR (Hyper Rare), SAR (Special Art Rare), K (Radiant Rare) and P or PROMO (Promo), and 1ED marks a 1st Edition print. Old Back is written out in the title. For what each set code stands for, see our Japanese TCG set codes page. PSA 10 is the Gem Mint grade on PSA's 10-point scale, and the label on each slab shows a PSA certification number. Sold-out cards stay visible at the end of the grid.

FAQ
Are Japanese Blastoise cards different from the English versions?
They are printed in Japanese and numbered within Japanese sets, such as SV2a for Pokemon Card 151 or CP6 for the 20th Anniversary concept pack. An English set often includes cards from more than one Japanese set, so the same Blastoise artwork can carry a different set code and card number in English. Clair's Blastoise comes from the Japanese VS series. PSA grades Japanese and English cards on the same 10-point scale.
What does SAR mean on a Blastoise listing?
SAR stands for Special Art Rare. In this collection it appears on the Blastoise ex SAR from Pokemon Card 151 (SV2a 202/165), while the SR of Blastoise ex from the same set is 186/165. Sun and Moon era titles use SA, short for Special Art, after the base rarity instead, as on the Remix Bout SR: SA (SM11a 070/064). K marks the Radiant Rare from Pokemon GO (s10b 018/071).
Do you sell ungraded Blastoise cards?
Most Blastoise listings on this page are PSA 10 graded cards. Ungraded single cards are sold only when they are listed in our store, for example promo cards sold as "Card only", and an ungraded listing's title does not start with PSA10. Sealed Japanese booster boxes are in our Pokemon card box collection.
How is a PSA 10 Blastoise card shipped?
The card ships in its PSA slab from Tokyo by FedEx, and every shipment has a tracking number. Delivery time depends on the destination and customs clearance, so we do not promise a delivery date. Import duties and taxes are set by the destination country; see our customs duties and import taxes page for who pays them in your country.
