Which Charmander cards you'll find here

The McDonald's MinimumPack Charmander, numbered eM 004/018, comes from a McDonald's promotional pack rather than a booster. The Pokekyun Collection (CP3), a concept pack from the XY era, supplies a 1st Edition Charmander (003/032), marked 1ED in the title. Both have their own guides, linked below, for anyone researching a specific Japanese Charmander card.

Newer prints include the shiny Charmander, marked S, from GX Ultra Shiny (SM8b 166/150) and Shiny Treasure ex (SV4a 210/190), and two cards from Pokemon Card 151 (SV2a): the Charmander AR (Art Rare, 168/165) and the Master Ball Mirror version of the common Charmander (004/165). The full-illustration Charmander (SVG 051/049) comes from the Special Deck Set ex Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise, and another Charmander (MC 083/742) from Start Deck 100 Battle Collection. A Pokemon Card Game Classic print (CLL 001/032) has also been listed.

Higher-priced cards such as the MinimumPack promo sit alongside lower-priced shiny and 151 prints, so a Charmander PSA 10 can be found at several price levels. Each product page shows the current price.

How to read a listing

Every title follows the same order: grade, card name, rarity, then the set code and card number in brackets and the set name in parentheses. For example, PSA10 Charmander AR [SV2a 168/165] (Enhanced Expansion Pack Pokemon Card 151) is the Art Rare Charmander, card 168 of Pokemon Card 151; a number above the set total marks a secret rare. Rarity codes in this collection include C (Common), S (Shiny), AR (Art Rare) and 1ED (1st Edition), while promo and deck cards may carry no rarity code. PSA 10 is the Gem Mint grade, the top of PSA's 10-point scale, and each slab label carries its own certification number. Sold-out cards stay visible at the end of the grid.

FAQ

What is the McDonald's MinimumPack Charmander?

It is a Charmander card from McDonald's MinimumPack, a promotional pack, numbered eM 004/018. Because it did not come from a regular booster, its title shows the eM code instead of a standard set code. Our Charmander eM 004/018 guide covers the card and its background.

What does 1ED mean on the Pokekyun Charmander?

1ED stands for 1st Edition. The Charmander from the Pokekyun Collection concept pack (CP3 003/032) is listed as Charmander C :1ED, meaning a Common card with the 1st Edition mark. Our Pokekyun Charmander guide explains the set and how the card is listed.

What does S mean on a Charmander card?

S marks a shiny card, which shows the alternate-color version of the Pokemon. This collection includes shiny Charmander from GX Ultra Shiny (SM8b 166/150) and Shiny Treasure ex (SV4a 210/190). They are separate cards from the Charmander AR (Art Rare) in Pokemon Card 151 (SV2a 168/165).
